82 Chapter 82: Chaotic Trio Part 2

Following Cheetah's word's, Killer Frost also turned to face Shade, awaiting an answer as to what their next move would be. Unlike them, he had more information on the matter than them… and more to lose if their operation failed.

"Yes, we can but remember the casualties and damage needs to be enough to cause a major stir. After that I'll create a getaway for us." He revealed while twirling his staff, doing his absolute best to hide the worry he felt just returning to Gotham.

But what could he do? Without Luthor's power or influence, he was sure it would only be a matter of time before Arias who was also a billionaire found him.

More than that, Shade knew there was something very supernatural about Arias. Something he couldn't understand, and that made him all the more worried about returning.

As for the other two, their reasons for coming were more linear. Killer Frost just wanted money whereas Cheetah had a personal matter to solve, which she hinted at with her next words. "Tsk, as long as it's enough to attract Wonderwoman, I don't care."

Receiving no complaints, Slade nodded his head and began leading the way. "Then follow me, by the time they realize something is happening, the damage would have been done."

And so, the bloody night began.

Starting from that very harbor, Shade, Killer Frost and cheetah went on a killing spree. The two women were unaware of Lex Luthor's role in the whole matter, thus they didn't question the point behind killing on and damaging his property.

Shade though was different. He knew they had to do this so that Luthor could look like a victim in the eyes of the public too once the matter became known. This would also give him ground to question the authority of Arias in regards to superpowered threats.

It was a good plan, and so far, the execution had been going near perfect.

But it wasn't long until the trio got far too chaotic with their actions…

The night was dark and chilly, and the streets of Gotham City were almost empty. Suddenly, a series of explosions echoed through the city, followed by the sound of shattering glass and crumbling concrete. A group of figures emerged from the smoke, each with a villainous smirk on their face.

Shade, Killer Frost, and Cheetah had arrived in Gotham City, and they were ready to cause some chaos.

"Let's show these fools what real power looks like," Shade said, his voice dripping with malice.

As they walked down the street, they encountered a group of Gotham City Police Department officers who had been dispatched to investigate the explosions. The officers immediately drew their weapons and aimed at the villains.

"Freeze! Don't move a muscle!" one of the officers shouted.

Killer Frost raised her hands and grinned wickedly. "I think it's too late for that," she said as a gust of icy wind erupted from her palms, freezing the street beneath their feet.

Cheetah leapt into action, her razor-sharp claws tearing through the air. She dodged the officers' bullets with ease, moving with incredible speed and agility.

Shade summoned a dark portal and stepped through it, emerging behind the officers. "You shouldn't have crossed us," he growled as he unleashed a blast of shadow energy, knocking several of the officers to the ground.

The remaining officers continued to fire their weapons, but the villains seemed almost impervious to the bullets. Cheetah lunged at one of the officers, her claws tearing through his body armor. Killer Frost encased another officer in a block of ice, leaving him frozen solid while quickly losing life.

The officers regrouped and aimed their weapons at the villains again, but Shade was quick to react. He raised his hands and conjured a sphere of darkness that surrounded the group of officers, blinding them.

Cheetah pounced on one of the blinded officers, tearing through his armor and then flesh, splattering blood as she nearly ripped his whole mid-section apart. Shade followed up with another blast of shadow energy, knocking out several more of the officers before Cheetah zipped by while clawing at their throats.

It quickly became apparent that the trio was far too much for the remaining officers to handle, but it was too late.

Despite their bravery, the police officers were no match for the three villains. The trio worked together seamlessly, their attacks complementing each other perfectly. Shade would teleport around the street, using his powers to strike from unexpected angles. Killer Frost would freeze the ground beneath her opponents, immobilizing them and making them easy targets. And Cheetah would pounce from one target to the next, her claws leaving deep gouges in the asphalt.

In the end, the villains proved too powerful for the police to handle. With a final burst of energy, Shade created another portal and the three villains stepped through it, disappearing into the shadows.

As they vanished, the officers lay scattered, the lucky ones only injured on the ground, their weapons abandoned beside them. The night had turned into a battlefield, and the villains had emerged victorious.

But their work was far from over. They had only just begun their crime spree, and they had many more targets to hit before the night was over. The people of Gotham City would have to brace themselves for a long and terrifying night.

The villains emerged from the shadow portal in a residential street in the suburbs of Gotham City. They had already caused enough chaos in the city center, and it was time to spread their destruction to the suburbs.

The street was lined with rows of houses, and the villains could see the glow of televisions and lamps coming from the windows. It was clear that the residents were home, and they were about to become the villains' next targets.

Shade cackled with glee as he surveyed the neighborhood. "Look at all these little sheep, huddled up in their little houses. They have no idea what's coming for them," he said.

Cheetah licked her lips, her claws extending from her fingertips. "Let's give them a show, shall we?" she said.

Killer Frost nodded, and with a flick of her wrist, she sent a burst of icy wind hurtling towards the nearest house. The windows shattered and the front door burst open, revealing a terrified family huddled inside.

Shade stepped forward, his shadowy energy pulsing around him. "Don't be afraid," he said, his voice silky and sinister. "We're not here to hurt you... unless you resist, of course."

The family huddled together, fear etched on their faces. They knew that they were at the mercy of these three villains, and that they could be killed at any moment.

Meanwhile, the villains began to tear through the neighborhood, causing destruction and chaos at every turn. Killer Frost froze the front lawn of one house, while Cheetah shredded the roof of another. Shade created a portal inside a garage, causing a car to be sucked through and launched into the air.

The residents of the neighborhood were terrified, and many of them huddled inside their homes, praying that the villains wouldn't come for them next.

Thankfully for the people, help was on it's way…
