Renovation Crew

Everyone was doing their jobs to ensure that the settlement was prepared to meet the needs of everyone at least, because now since many will be coming preparations need to be made for any future troubles.

Nile watched as everyone was doing their jobs but not only was he doing that but he was also concerned about the future development of everything going on after all more people means more manpower but also this means that the environment needs to be terraformed and even so what must be done after that to ensure further growth.

" Nuera in this world of magic, sorcery, and gods, what can I do to ensure that the people under my banner can live there, especially with them lacking the power system that basically holds the hierarchy of power in this world?" Nile asked his assistant Nuera because honestly, everything that was done was just improvisation.

" Out of everything it would be great to hide them, better yet I don't know if you may have made me but you must forge the path for these people after all you gave them hope even if there is no path in this world for outcast then you can decide to create one and forge ahead with it that's my best advice creator"

' Nuera saying this really made me think I'm not in high school and I'm not a kid, all these people are listening to me and every mistake they make is also my mistake because I'm leading them and I'm the one decided on every decision that could change their lives

Thinking to himself, Nile really couldn't help but laugh because life is changing and everything has many ups and downs and I'm the person who must decide on what happens to my group of people who have decided to trust me.

" Whelp let's do it then whatever comes I'll deal with it one step at a time" Nile finally decided that what was happening in front of him needed to be protected because these are his people and he would lead them on the right path.

Nile went to check the renovations to be made so he went to the construction vehicle site and could see the workers there operating everything smoothly allowing the materials to build the houses I gave blueprints.

As Nile arrived the workers saw him and greeted him and then said 

" My lord this machine is amazing we can carry so many supplies now "

" These houses would take months to complete but now it's so simple just a week and a few days"

" Ah I want to drive the dump truck again give me a chance again please"

Everyone on site looked at the person which was Yule who said this and said "NOOO"

Not like they were against her driving, it's just that Yule caused a big commotion yesterday with the dump truck. Nile remembered back yesterday what happened.

Yesterday Backflash Nile PoV:

" Well we have about 3 of each machine remember be careful because we went over this and it's very simple if you get confused as well just ask the old dwarf," Nile said while mocking the old man Ron hearing this Ron retorted " I'm still in my prime of 48 years old hmph"

Everyone was marveling with these behemoths of machinery but also many wanted to be the first to do it so I had to teach them while Ron basically mastered it because he understood control and not everyone was like him except Yule which was pretty good.

She drove like she was an experienced driver but even put the rest of the men here to shame but driving is only a piece of it which was the only quirk but she unloaded the dump truck and nearly buried us when she was over-excited and fueled by our praises.

Not gonna lie this was the first time in history it would have been recorded that a god got buried in the dirt by their own followers. If I didn't store the dirt fast enough everyone would have had the fastest funeral ever just need to put a tombstone there and done.

So before she ever gets the idea of doing this check every worker needs to be verified by Ron if they can operate it and safety procedures as well.

But this incident was definitely a reminder to never over-inflate Yule's ego again or we'll be six feet under or something worse.

Back to the present day:

Nile was making sure that the building materials were being transported to the houses being built and this was gonna be his first time leading everyone on a building project or even doing this but no worries Nuera and he went over the blueprints multiple times and planned what must be done.

So upon arrival at the site what could be seen was an empty spot of where an old rickety house once stood. Nle could see the workers loading another truck throwing away the old structure so now everything can begin.

First things first the land must be prepared which was already done so now we can start the foundation because what was being built was a two-storey house with a basement.

We used the cement mixture to make the foundation smooth it out then let it set when it was finally dried. We started marking the areas where the support pillars are supposed to go and where to set up the walls.

The people who didn't know anything about this had to partner up and basically apprentice themselves with someone experienced.

Nile wasn't going to lie he wished that he had a school or something to teach them so it could be quicker and even sort out what people want to do to divide the workload and to see people excel in their expertise but until the recruitment mission is complete it can't be done.

Nile and the others continued and finally after grueling hours of hard work basically but on the skeleton of the house with the wooden frames up to the first floor, and they continued by gathering the bricks for the walls and using the wood as the roofing, It took a day to complete the work with guidance even though they were many, many bumps doing so we finally put up the structure and Nile scanned it seeing it was 100% structurally sound but they were still many gaps in it for future modification but not now.

Nile did though add a piping system and dealt with the ventilation and something everyone was badgering him about as if they saw a new toy to play with especially when the pipes were added and sinks and bath everyone was looking thinking it was alchemy not knowing it was just something basic

'The thing I forgot was that I don't have an aqueduct because there were too few people to help construct it but well at least when we have it it can be attached to the underground pipeline which will need to be sorted out in the future when we get there.'

' Nuera makes a mental note for me to work on aqueduct, pipeline, and electricity when optimally recommended in the future' Nile said to Nuera in his mind.

' Will I need to remind you when you need to wake up as well Creator' Nuera says in a sassy yet sarcastic tone.

Nile then retorted ' If I wanted sass I would have had a girlfriend, not a Highly intelligent Ai telling me this'

Nuera still did what was asked and Nile just continued with the work, as during the time 4 houses that can house a family of five to 7 were completed with people proficiency increasing steadily.

But this amount wasn't close enough as even the outside perimeter walls are going to need to be taken down for expansion but at least its calculated to hold at most 50,000 so there's definitely not going to be a problem but because of this nagging feeling I decided to expand the walls personally by myself to accommodate 4 times, especially with the trees outside being cleared up was much easier.

However, the added land had to be fixed to match inside which the agriculture squad took care of so I'm sure nothing else would be needed than to hurry to build these houses.

Nile sighed knowing that these tasks were very tedious as they had to build from scratch but hopefully in the future when he looks back he'll see it's all worth it so He just continued trending on.

" Need to get these houses finished after all have to be prepared when we welcome our new residents to the settlement," Nile said and then went back to working on the houses after all with the time ticking he doesn't know when the people will arrive as well as he doesn't want them to be sleeping outside after all his people will come first as they are his basically family.
