6 New world

"That was painful." Every piece of my body screamed with pain. "Wait, I can feel myself again so it means that stupid dream ended. But the matress I lay on is little bit too hard. I need to call some nurses that I have woken up and tell them that I want better bed."

I opened my eyes. I was laying on my back and all I saw clouded sky.

"What? Where am I?"

I felt fainth breeze on my skin and heard birds around me. I lifted myself to the sitting position with ease and looked around.

If anyone was around that place at that time they could hear loud and desperate: "NOOOOO!!!!"

It felt like the whole world collapsed for me. I just sat where I was and blankly stared in front of me.

Through the time, I was doing so, thoughts like " It wasn't dream... He was speaking the truth.... I will never see my family and friends again...." surged in my head.

As I was starting to sobb and fall into depression I was interrupted by flashing light in right top corner of my field of vision. I turned to it but it moved with me so it remained stationary in my field of view.

" It behaves just like ikon of app in some smart glasses." Immediately after I made this association the strange light actually transformed into icon of a message.

I wished to open it and so it did. Before me showed a text. I looked like normal computer file. Its content made me frown and smile at the same time.

[Hi Grimm,

I guess you finnally realised this is not a dream, but cruel reality which wants to kill you. I have teleported you to place where you could have very suitable start for your yuzzemkin. But something went wrong in terms of world forces and during your teleportation a big scale war has begun. It disturbed your transport a bit so I had to make small changes to your race. Please don't be mad. I have made all I could to repay it to you and gave you little help which you are using right now. It is system which you can use to upgrade youself and your followers but it has a catch which is reason why none of gods use it. You have to use your own power to make it work which means to unlock new function you have to use your own power recieved from prayers and sacrifices of magic items or things with soul energy. It has huge drawback at start but if you gain foothold in this world it may become usefull but nobody got to that phase yet, because it blocks your ability of sentient usage of god powers untill you unlock this function. Just between us, it is really hard on its own to do so. This will at least help you to learn it after some time.

Now to that war. You are exactly between two huge armies - undead and the living. For the dead a cult of necromancers fights together with race called Ende which is very tallented in control of undead creatures. On the side of living is alliance of all intelligent races and even some unintelligent ones. Both armies are the biggest in history of this world. My guess would be close to one billion at each side. They are gonna clash soon. If the undead win, I guess that it will be game over for you soon too. I'd advise you to hide somewhere and don't come out till the armies move somewhere else and hope that the right ones win. Best place to do so is valley with lake not far from you. In middle of that lake there is large group of small isles and they form something like a swamp. It is really foggy place and without access by dry foot so armies will go around it. Perfect spot to hide.

Go about 50 kilometres south. You can't miss it. It is really huge and with mountains blocking path further south but hurry up you have maximally a week to get there. Thanks to that you will get on the right wing on the living army and the battle won't be so fierce here. I'd advise you to summon your race right now so they can hunt some food for you since you are a mortal for now and I gave you limited supplies. Good luck and reveal yourself to other gods as late as possible.

I chose yes and three things happened at a time.

First I got dressed (I wasn't and I didn't even noticed... Well stress from your own death doesn't give you much space to care about clothing.). I got T-shirt with short sleeves in light brown color and those military green pants with pattern which should blend in when you are in forest. They got many pockets and on my right thigh I had my ordered machette.

Secondly in my view a new icon showed up which had image of settings (two gears in blue field BTW).

And last thing that happened was that the old window closed and was replaced by new one which was saying

[Summon 42 yuzzems? Yes x No]

"Why not? With this starting number I'm destined to triumph. YES"

There appeared many small light pillars coming from the ground and in them were bodies forming. But they seemed little strange to me but I couldn't find it out why.

When light faded away I finnally had a clear view. Problem was that they were smaller and little stooded and another thing which disappointed me was that they weren't all the same colour. They were in various colors mostly brown and variations of this color but I saw some black ones too. But I have also seen one pure white like snow and two or three gray ones.

They all turned their faces to me and waited. They were silently looking at me with these intelligent eyes that give you goose dump because seeing big cat eyes is already pretty scary since the bigger the eyes the bigger and deadlier the owner. The guy who built big black tower with burning cat like eye on top of it knew what he was doing.

I just stood there and was really nervous. I did not know what to do.

"Come on. They will never worship you if you don't make any action to take a lead of them." I said to myself.

*Ehm, Ehm*

" Greetings my beloved children. I'm Grimm, your creator."

One of yuzzems, he was pitch black with a bit bigger frame than the others but still reached with his head to my shoulders, stepped out of crowd and kneeled before me. " We know who you are great Grimm and we are ready to serve you till our death because we know that without you we would never exist and we apreciate your gift. We will follow you no matter the consequences. "

That was pleasent surprise and I thanked Mafl in my mind for giving yuzzems some knowledge to the start. This way I won't be doubted.

I decided to act according to Mafl's message and because I didn't know how difficult the road will be I did not want to loose time.

"My yuzzems,

I have some rough informations about this world and I have bad news for you. We are trapped between two armies. There is gonna be a battle in one week. Our only chance to survive is to hide. There is supposed to be perfect spot about 50 kilometres south from here. I ask you to follow me and together we will survive and build place where we could live in peace and live happy live."

Like a one men they all kneeled down and said words of soul oath that they will follow me in good and bad. It was very magic moment.

At that moment I almost got a gooze dump from how thrilling experience it was. "This is the feeling of being trusted and gifted by power over others? I could get used to it. But it is not going the way I want. They are just acting like NPCs in prescripted cutscene. I will try once again."

"Ok, now gather and prepare for long trip. If you can find anything edible around here I'd like you to take it with you since we don't know how will the situation later be. I'd be happy to know if there are some individuals among you who know something about scouting and hunting and if so I'd like to speak with them." I gave orders.

Finally they reacted and followed my orders. During time yuzzems were carring ot my orders I finnally looked around and studied my surrounding.

I had many thing what I wanted to do but I posponed this for too long.

From all I recognised, flora was similar to the one on earth. At least in terms of shapes and colors. But I couldn't identify any of the species around me. All I could surely say was "This is grass and this is tree."

I was on plain with high grass and frequent groups of trees. In the distance I could see mountains. That was where we were should be going. By their presence I guessed that this way was south.

The closer the you were to the mountains the more hills you could see and also slightly more trees. From time to time you could recognise small creek going through the countryside and ending in small pond.

Once I was satisfied with my knowledge of the landscape I wanted to shift my attention to my new system but I was interrupted by the big black yuzzem from before.

" We are ready to set forth, great Grimm. From 42 of us there are 6 who claims that they feel certain talent for sneaking and tracking. 20 of us say that the best thing they have tallent for is fighting and about 14 claims that they are good in creating new thing from given materials. The last two says that they feel strong bond to magic and would be pleased to meet you because they don't know what it would be good for. That's all great Grimm."

"Ok, thanks. I aprreciate your effort to gather these informations and I have small request. Please stop adding word Great before my name. I know it is way how to show you respect and so but I feel very distanced from you this way. Call me just Grimm for now. I need to keep low profile till we reach somewhere safe." I told him and asked if he could stay with me for little longer.

Then I raised my voice so everybody could hear me. "Ok, I want you to make a formation."
