8 First day in the academy

I got to room 129 and there was a sign on the door with my name and 2 others. It said my name first and then it said James Ronald and under that one was Cris Stevedore. I don't think it was random name placements of with the people that I am sharing a room with.

Since I was the first one in the room I chose the closest bed to the window. The room itself was quite big it even had a full sized restroom. As well as enough room to fit 3 full sized beds comfortable with dressers in between them and a carpet from the beds to the restroom that was red. It even had cabinets so we could hang clothes in.

Cris was the next one to enter the room he had green eyes with dark blonde hair. He seemed stuck up and walked in like he owned the place. He even ignored me when I told him hi. He set his stuff down to the bed closet to the door and didn't say a word.

James finally walked in 5 minutes later. He had hazel colored eyes and dark brown hair. He seemed like a good guy that was a bookworm because after we said hi to each other he grabbed a book and started to read.

For the rest of the night we all just did our own thing until lights out.

Me and James decided to go to the class together since it was our first day. Cris seemed to ignore us on our invitation to accompany us to the class.

Today was the day where we find out what our main class was going to be of course we do get a choice. But we don't get to choose who we will form a party with. That will be based on the form we signed before attending the Academy. Of course I signed up to be an adventurer so I'll be paired up with other adventurers. But to my dismay I found out that everyone was assigned with those they shared a room with. So my group was myself, Cris and James. I was ok with James but Cris didn't seem the least bit interested to get to know us.

The teacher explained each and every main class. With each main class comes with certain abilities that you just can't get from the other classes. Like a tanker class has extremely high defense and a wizard has extremely high magic stats. We got to hear all the boring pros and cons of each main class. So the teacher started calling people up to the front of the class so they could pick their main class. The first kid was someone by the name of Tim Kolply and he chose to be a berserker he placed his hands on a stone and said his choice and he started to glow.

James was the first to go up from my team. I was hoping he could pick something that had a good attack ability so he could easily cut down our enemies. But he decided to be a wizard. Which was cool but it does take a good amount of time for a wizard to cast most spells.

Cris went right after James and to my surprise he decided to be a Paladin which had a good str stat and a good defense stat. He walked up to me and whispered in my ear " I chose to be a Paladin because I heard from my father that you where gifted in using light skills as well as healing. I think the best thing you could be is a cleric which makes all your light abilities as well as healing abilities stronger".

Honestly it would make sense for me to become a cleric like he said so I went a head and chose to become the group's cleric.
