2 First Investment

The store was currently empty and serene, with the occasional sweeping sound of the broom as the attendant cleaned the same spot again and again in boredom.

There was no customers, so she could not do anything else, but to play around with the broomstick.

"I want to invest into your shop." Si Chen clearly said as he enunciated every single word.

The attendant glanced with distrust towards Si Chen, seemingly not believing like he had the capabilities to back up his words.

After all, his clothes looked too plain and worn down, and looked like someone who was struggling financially.

However, maybe there was a chance that he was a low-key rich second-generation youth?

His face was calm and serene, and definitely did not look like he was playing a joke on her.

In the end, she could only call her boss, as she repeated his every single word towards him.

The boss, upon hearing her call, immediately became excited, as he hurriedly rushed towards the store, not wanting to waste a single moment.

This could be his only opportunity for his store to make a come-back!

Then, as he entered the store, his eyes filled with hope, he saw that the store was empty, other than the attendant who stood stiffly at the side, along with a youth wearing plain clothes, who was comfortably leaning on the chair.

"May I ask, are you the one who wants to invest in my store?" The boss asked with uncertainty.

The only people in the store was the attendant, and the poor-looking youth.

The attendant definitely doesn't have the capital to invest in his store, so it was only the poor-looking youth in front of him.

At this moment, the excitement in his eyes started to dampen down, as his eyes turned bleak.

He did not belief that the youth could have the monetary assets to invest in his store.

Si Chen caught the look on his face, and could only helplessly sigh within his heart.

Of course, he was not annoyed or irritated at his expression, because it was not surprising given the quality and type of clothing that he was wearing.

I mean, if a beggar walks in to a car shop and demands to buy a Lamborghini, you can't expect the sales worker to treat him with enthusiasm, and hope that he would buy the Lamborghini, right?

This was a world judged by appearances. You cannot deny that.

He should quickly find an appropriate time to buy some new, and more presentable clothes.

"I know what you are thinking. Because of my clothes, you feel that I do not have the capital to invest into your store. I totally understand that." Si Chen lightly smiled.

"However, I can assure you that I do indeed have sufficient capital." Si Chen took out the credit card in his hands.

"Check the amount of money that is inside." Si Chen passed in onto the boss of the store.

The boss deeply glanced at Si Chen. His words had directly exposed what he was thinking within his heart, and he couldn't help but have a glimmer of hope within his eyes.

He took over the card and handed in to the attendant, and instructed her to check the balance.

There was machine behind the counter that had the ability to do that.

Moments later, the attendant rushed back, her face red in excitement.

"Boss! There is 10000 dollars inside the card!" She couldn't help but shout in surprise.

At her words, the boss then thoroughly believed Si Chen's words, as glimmer of hope within his eyes shone to become as bright as the starry sky.

He gave a warm smile towards Si Chen, then sat down beside him

"I am Yang Deng, the boss of the Hui Yuan drink store. May I know your name?" The boss politely inquired.

"Si Chen" Si Chen mildly replied.

"Let's get onto the matter of investment." Si Chen then calmly said.

Yang Deng straightened his back, as his expression suddenly turned serious.

This was the most important part of the discussion.

"I want 51% of the shares in the Hui Yuan Drink Store." Si Chen directly stated.

"This…" Yang Deng hesitated.

51% of the shares meant that he would no longer be the main owner of the store, which will be transferred towards Si Chen.

"51% of the shares is what I am currently buying right now. I can give you 5000 dollars straight up, while I will give you the rest of the cash after our agreement is settled. And this is only barely the tip of the surface. I may invest more into the Hui Yuan Drink Store, and this can reach upwards of more than 30000 dollars." He started putting the bait into the water, first giving him lucrative benefits to attract him.

"51% of the shares, is okay with me. But what are you going to do with the business management of the store then?" Yang Deng said after pondering for a while.

Their drink store was truly in a dire state, and they needed cash urgently. If not, it will only be a matter of time before their store gets destroyed.

"Although I will hold 51% of the shares, I will not directly interfere with any of the business's operations. However, of course, I will still give some suggestions from time to time." Si Chen cleared Yang Deng's worries, as he gave a confident smile.

"Okay, I agree." Yang Deng decided to agree to his conditions. After all, he was the only lifeline he could hold on to right now.

"This is the document of our agreement. Here, it states that you will be transferring 51% of the shares to me. You just need to sign at the bottom, and our deal is settled." Si Chen took out a document that was personally given by the System.

After Yang Deng signed the document, they both stood up and shook hands with each other, sealing their deal.

Then, Yang Deng gave him a bow of gratitude, before he left the store.
