3 Beginning.

On the outskirts of Tokyo, the door to a judo dojo closed as slightly injured Akira walked out of it with Yujiro at his side. He had a sprained wrist and a bloody nose from the battle but it was nothing that wouldn't be healed before the night was out. Akira and Yujiro had been dojo hunting all day but they weren't many that they could find on the outskirts of Tokyo so in all, they conquered 3. Akira had defeated a Karate Dojo, a boxing gym, and recently the judo dojo.

He lamented that he couldn't just kill everyone in each place but he understood why though, as he was still in a modern world. Police would probably show up soon and there are only so many lives he could take without attracting too much attention to himself. So instead he just crippled everyone in the dojo by using the judo he copied from them. The same also occurred in the boxing gym. As it was getting late, the skies around the almost poverty-stricken area of the Tokyo outskirts started to get darker, signaling the arrival of the evening.

Yujiro was in great mood currently because his son impressed him every time he fought. But that didn't mean that he would go easy on him. In fact, the better Akira got, the harder Yujiro's training would get. Today, Yujiro planned to give him his final test.

"Akira, follow me! Haha, it's time we finally put all your training to the ultimate test."

Akira got a little excited as he hoped that this time Yujiro would leave him to his own devices so that he could train in all the arts he wanted to. The duo then took off into the forest with Yujiro running through it at full speed as he wanted Akira to keep up with him. Of course, Akira couldn't right now but his saiyan senses could track Yujiro across the country if he wanted to. More specifically, his sense of smell. Yujiro was out of sight almost immediately because of his unnatural speed but Akira didn't mind. He just watched how Yujiro moved and copied his footwork carefully, increasing his own speed drastically as time went on. The copying ability is a perk of being in the body of broly.

Soon enough, Yujiro stopped moving. Akira smelt multiple other scents close to him and they all smelt like beasts so he had a fair idea of what Yujiro wanted him to do. As he got closer, he spotted Yujiro standing on a short cliff, looking downward with a smile on his face. When he arrived, Yujiro put his hands on his shoulder and said, "Look out there Akira. This what the military calls the Badlands. Out there, in that fenced off area, they are savage beasts of all kinds that the military uses to train the elite soldiers. Just from looking down under this cliff, there a few large packs of Adult gorillas. Your challenge is to defeat every beast in that area. If you die, then you were too weak. If you manage to survive, then go into the city and find a woman named Emi Akezawa. You will also meet your older brother by a year there. I'll go tell her to only wait for a year at maximum. Any longer than that, you fail and I will devour you immediately!"

"Old ma-"

Before Akira could even respond, Yujiro pushed him off the edge of the cliff and shouted, "Make sure you land on your feet, Akira!" He then walked away, leaving the boy to his fate as it was time Yujiro thought it was time that he let him carve his own legend in the world. If he couldn't overcome this small trial then he wasn't worthy to be called a Hanma.

'Tch! Of course, this guy would push me off the cliff! I'll have my revenge when it's time for me to fight him! For now, I'm glad that he left. Now, for this fall...'

Akira took his good hand and dug it into the side of the cliff, using his powerful finger strength to stop his fall although it took a short while before he could be fully stopped. By the time he stopped his fall, he was already close to the ground so he just jumped down and stood in front of the large barb-wired fence. He then thought to himself, 'Although I don't remember every single thing about this world, I do have enough knowledge to get by for now. Now, time to begin slaughtering every beast in this forest.'

Akira simply climbed over the fence as nimbly as a monkey would, not even bothering to avoid the barbed wire as his skin was too hard for it to even hurt him. As he walked into the forest, he could smell numerous different beasts and hear their cries clearly with his saiyan senses. But he didn't have time to investigate right now as the gorillas that were basically at the front of the forest started to surround him. Most of them were on the trees but the bigger ones approached him slowly as they were wondering if he was human or if he was one of them.

Akira unfurled his tail and shook it around as he realized this, waiting for the battle to begin. He kicked off his shoes and took off his pants revealing some knee-length black shorts. Since he would be training extremely hard, too much clothing would only get in the way. As what seemed to be the leader of this pack of apes came forward, Akira couldn't help but have a sense of familiarity with him as he was sure that he had seen that type of ape in the anime before but he couldn't remember where.

The ape's body was riddled with scars and he was missing an eye but he walked upright with nothing but pride on his face. It was clear that the other apes had also respected him greatly. Akira started to walk towards the ape and he could hear the others starting to get riled up as they beat their chests loudly. When he got a little closer to the head ape, about four other large apes jumped out from behind the head one and rushed Akira, aiming to kill him on the spot as he was infringing on their territory.

Akira knew he couldn't hold back and immediately rushed forward, using a reverse roundhouse kick targeted at the first ape. The ape put up his guard while moving but the roundhouse kick was a fake, instead, he used it as a hoe-grab to lock onto the arms of the ape, dragging it forward. He then jumped up with his other leg and used Baekdu, kneeing the ape in the face numerous times. As he couldn't spend longer than a second at most on one opponent, he couldn't finish off the ape and instead dodged the grab of the second one by jumping into the air.

'Shit!'

As he jumped, he heard the air vibrating next to him but he couldn't dodge attacks mid-air at his current level so he just took the punches that the last two gorillas sent at him while putting up his guard. He flew into a tree and spit out a little blood but the apes watching weren't about to let him rest. He was immediately picked up by a smaller ape and tossed back out into the 'ring' of sorts, quickly recovering from the hits. Even though he was injured, even at this very moment he could feel himself being healed and his power being increased.

'I can see their movements. They focus on grabs and quick, strong unorthodox punches. As long as I take them down fast enough with attacks to their vitals, I'll kill them easily. Let's see...that attack will work perfectly. But instead of using it on just one of them....'

Akira rushed back into the apes, moving close to them so they would attack him as he baited them to move into a certain position. He used his nimble movements to slide under their legs and jump over their heads, infuriating the beasts even more. It wasn't long before they got into the position he needed. Three of them were rushing him from his front while the fourth one was attacking from overhead as he had climbed up a tree for a better vision of Akira's movements.

'Hyperspeed.'

Akira stomped on the ground and pushed himself forward with considerable physical force and skill, only appearing as a flash to the apes that were fighting him. It only took a few milliseconds for him to then rotate his body around once with his right leg extended to build up force for his next attack.

'Triple Strike.'

It appeared as nothing more than a blur. One kick to the throat of the first ape, another to the temple of second and third one while he ended the fourth one who was coming from above with a heel strike to the throat. All of them were dead on impact. Akira then appeared in front of the head ape who was clearly infuriated with the deaths of his kind, cracking his knuckles as he stared the beast down. His battle lust and bloodthirst were at an all-time high as unknowingly, a smile that resembled Yujiro's appeared on his face.

'What are you waiting for beast?! Let's fight! All of you against me right now!'

As Akira was completely focused on the battle, he wasn't paying attention to the time. The sky was almost completely dark and unfortunately for him, a full moon had started to appear...
