9 Programmer level up!

After Ms. Gardener led Alex around the rest of the building she asked him to go to the server room and try to learn new skills there, unlike the others.

"Can you please try to learn down there, the others up here can't learn a d**m thing about the servers."

"Yes ma'am."

When Alex entered he was hit by a wave of darkness with a blue hew to it. And a slight hum reverberated throughout the room. On the right wall was a table full of computers with data all spewed on it.

As if on cue, "Hello whose there?"

All Alex saw was a few full black figures, some with glasses working on and around the servers, and some on the computers.

"Ms. Gardener asked me to come down here and possibly learn a few things!"

After a few seconds the voice came back again, "Come to server 'C' look at the top for a glowing letter and look for me."

Alex looked up and saw a blue hew of the letter "A" and to the right "B" and further down the letter "C", Alex started to walk that way.

Alex went to one side of the server and saw a figure in the darkness with a computer and some kind of code (to blurry to see) reflected in his eyes. "Hi my name is Alex, can I ask how did you know I was at the stairs?"

Without missing a beat the figure replied, "I'm connected to the cameras right now and I have one facing the stairs."

'That would be nice to have for my apartment, I don't need someone stealing my packages again!' After leaving his thoughts he faced the figure again, "What is your name?"

Again without stopping he had a answered "Adam."

"So is there anything I can do here?"

He patted the floor, "Come sit and I'll show you some things about coding and maintaining the servers."
