5 A Bullying Existence (Edited)

Patrick stood contemplating as he thought of the word 'Family.' The mere thought of this word stirred his emotions as his heartbeat significantly increased; even his 'Infinite Calm' skill could not contain him, urging the skill to upgrade into a 'Passive Nature.' Without Grace explaining anything, Patrick understood what a 'Passive Nature' was; it was basically his skills transcending into his nature, similar to breathing and talking. His skills were no longer skills, powers, or abilities but rather his natural characteristics.

"It seems the idea of resurrecting my parents stirred up my hidden emotions of neglect and abandonment. It has been seven years since I got registered to the orphanage, and a lot has changed since then; I have had many encounters and experienced different things, and although I still miss them and their warm embrace, their presence isn't that much impactful to me anymore. As their offspring, I am grateful and appreciative of them for giving me the opportunity to exist, and I would have done anything to repay their favor if they were alive, but I can't just change their fates to satisfy my fantasy of a perfect and complete family.

Mother was a kind-hearted, beautiful, and loving woman, she always thought of others before herself, and her selflessness was beyond anyone I have ever known. She raised me with care and love, not ever neglecting my need for love or adventure, she was also a diligent wife and friend, if she was alive, she would be regarded as the queen of hearts, as she made everyone around her feel welcomed and comfortable, haha...funny, she even made the most cold-hearted person, father, to fall in love with her.

As for my father, Mr. Alexander King, he wasn't the kind to express emotions, but he occasionally smirked and smiled at me and Mother. He was a strong and protective father, husband, and reliable Awakened. With his powerful B-rank fire ability, he was always the lead captain, even within influential Gate-hunting corporations. Well, I understand now why they weren't able to make it out of the AA-rank 'Dimension Crack. With mother's selfless nature and father's protectiveness over her, they most likely gave up themselves to save the crew. Sigh~ What a romantic and brave ending."

Patrick held a smile as he thought of his Parents, reminiscing about the past and the short adventure and experience he had with them. Heaving a liberated sigh, he smiled as he raised his hands, Grace sounded.

[Passive Nature: Absolute Destiny Manipulation; Manipulate the irreversible fates and destinies of any existence. Only Master can reverse the set destiny]

Simultaneously, two white energy balls appeared on each of Patrick's hands as he spoke.

"Hence fort, I grant you 'Infinite Reincarnation,' you shall forever reincarnate as lovers till the end of time. Your love and devotion to each other grow with every reincarnation, and you shall begin a new life of peace with new memories upon every reincarnation. Goodbye, Mother, and you too, old man."

With Patrick finishing his sentence, the two balls of energy slowly levitated in the air, then, a red line appeared between the energies, the line connecting to both energies as soon later, a zip sounded, with the energy balls disappearing from the scene.

Patrick held a smiling yet solemn expression as he watched his parents erase from the scene; then as if losing interest, Patrick's face slowly and gradually began losing its smile, and began assuming a cold and impassive countenance, soon later, Patrick had a completely different expression, his face looking like someone who could care less about anything or anyone, nonchalant, carefree and most of all, arrogant.

Turning his attention to the majestic building, Patrick opened the single door. Entering the building, he saw a spacious room with a kingly atmosphere, with some furniture, the spacious room could be a kingly living room. But Patrick steadily walked past the spacious empty room as he appeared on a dark underground pathway; as if already knowledgeable of the path, he flipped a switch on his right side as multiple light bulbs lit in ascending order, steadily lighting the darkness away from the scene. Patrick continued his walk as he reached a dead-end wall.

But again, he placed his left foot at the bottom brick of the left wall as he stepped down on it; following that was a mechanical clang sound, which seemed to originate from the other side of the wall. Soon after, a slight trembling sound occurred as the previously dead-end wall slowly began ascending like a heavy automatic door; five seconds later, the door opened as Patrick stepped forward, but the instant Patrick stepped within the room, a robotic male sounded.

< Welcome home, Sire. You were gone for 19 hours, 58 minutes, and 59 seconds. Should I perhaps document that as a drastic change in your schedule? >

"No, Alpha."

<Certainly, Sire. Also, sir, you have three messages from Ludwick and five missed calls the Underground bosses. Should I perhaps read them to you?>

"Yes, but only Ludwick's."

Patrick replied as he steadily approached an office wheelchair; sitting down, he clapped twice as lights lit up the room. The underground room was quite spacious; it was wide enough to fit three wide tables, two big desktop computers, and four big lightbulbs, each attached to the four corners of the cave. Patrick's desk was the first thing one would see if they entered the cave; on the right of the cave shelter were the three wide tables with different experiment devices on each table, and on the left were numerous unknown items and gadgets, some hanging on the walls while some clustered up on a workshop/working table.

< Message from Ludwick...beep...'Good Evening, Sir. I have good news; I have obtained the item you wanted, the S-rank beast core. Even better, it's the core of the Gates' boss. I hope to hear from you soon, and I apologize for the long wait; good night, Sir.'…beep...

Sir. Should I play the remaining two? >

"Not yet...Alpha, first cancel my appointment with the Underground Bosses tomorrow; the excuse? I'm sick."

< But, Sir, you can't get sick; after all, you created and are injected with the 'Immune Serum,' which can cure any disease or virus of a living organism with red or white blood cells and make them immune to any disease after. >

"True, but they don't know that. And besides, some of them have become suspicious of me lately; my disguise as a forty-year-old man isn't convincing them anymore. From our previous interaction, they seem to have developed covetous behaviors, wanting more than they can pay. Anyways, still send the message; as for Ludwick, he can keep the core; it's useless to me now."

< Are you sure, Sir? You have been looking for an S-rank core for the last three years; not wanting it now contradicts your efforts and energy invested. >

Hearing his A.I personal assistant, Alpha, Patrick smirked as he relaxed back on the chair; he raised his left hand as a gold orb appeared on it, the orb seeming like a Universe with countless galaxies twinkling within. Looking at the object, he replied.

"Yes, I don't need the S-rank core anymore; I have an even better energy source now."

< Very Well then, sending the message to Ludwick and the Underground bosses. Message sent. What's my next task, sir? >

The A.I spoke, asking its master for another task. But Patrick remained silent as he stared at the orb hovering on his palm, he then switched his attention to a cloth hanging on the left side of the wall. The cloth looked ordinary and uninteresting, but with close inspection, it was a well-tailored one-piece black leather suit with numerous patterns and linings etched on it. Hanging above the black suit was a helmet with a dark windshield face. And on the desk below the hanging suit and helmet was a cube, the cube had a hole in the middle, as if missing something from making it complete.

Patrick stared at the cube as it floated and came to him, Holding the cube, he spoke.

"Grace, if you weren't here, today would have been the day I became the most powerful mortal on Earth. With my 'Mana Core Accelerator' and 'Symbiotic Adaptation Suit,' no one would have stood a chance against me, not even Mythical-rank Awakened."

"Certainly, Master. You were, after all, an eighth-level intellect being, it was only a matter of time before you conquered this planet, and ventured into the wilderness of unknown."

Patrick telepathically interacted with Grace as he steadily placed the gold orb inside the cube. Immediately after, the cube trembled, lighting up and radiating with golden brilliance. Patrick held an amused expression as he watched his creation finally come to life, he rose from his seat as he approached the black suit on the wall, on the left chest of the suit was a cube-shaped hole, With little patience, Patrick inserted the cube into the hole. The instant the cube entered the suit, the golden brilliance from the cube slowly began spreading in between the etched lines and patterns on the suit, making the suit assume a black and gold design. While Patrick stared at the majestic and proudful scene of his creation coming to life, Grace sounded, displaying the properties of the suit and the mana core.

[Item: Mana Core Accelerator; With a source core, the suit can transform any form of energy into Mana, supplying the wielder infinite energy, since everything in existence operates with energy]

[Item: Symbiotic Adaptation Suit; With the Mana Core Accelerator as its energy source, can self-adapt to any fighting environment, has energy explosion, atomic energy blast, host regeneration, hyper strength, speed, durability, stamina, and a hyper artificial intelligence computer system, and teleportation]

Reading the features of his suit, Patrick couldn't help but smile, he was very impressed by his work, so impressed that he arrogantly murmured.

"With this suit, even if you hadn't arrived and I only had the S-rank boss beast core, I would have still dominated the Earth, galaxy, and even the Universe. In time, I would venture the Gates, accumulate more powerful resources, and create even greater and more powerful inventions, possibly the time machine, or even worse, make copies of myself and begin the domination of Worlds, Realms, and Domains, be it a Universe or Multiverse. By then, who will stop me?"

Grace maintained silence as she let her Master express his arrogance. Patrick held an even resolute smirk as he thought of his unlimited possibilities. As if the suit wasn't enough, he was now an omnipotent God and also has Grace, With all these variables, Patrick's existence was something beyond comprehension, as the very concept of possibility now existed in his grasp.

"My Existence is a bully to the word Existence itself. Grace, wouldn't you agree?"

"Yes, Master, your existence is indeed bullying."
