Chapter 4: Planning and Preparation

After coming to realize that his life has changed he is now in a world of cultivation where strong ruled the weak. In this world power is everything.

As morning passed and the world became awake Long decides to contemplate his future course of action.

Long: "status"

Inner world: a city block(inhabitable)>

Long: "Yesterday, I was too excited and wanted to enter Goddess You Yan's cave. But I am too weak to gain any profit from it. I need to first cultivate to a decent level of this tiny realm before even thinking about entering that place."

Long: " In order to cultivate, I will need cultivation techniques and good ones at that. I need to think about this carefully there are 3 known human civilizations in this world Glory city, village in heavenly fate plateau and nether realm."

Long: 'village in heavenly fate plateau does not have any cultivation techniques, and no knowledge of how to become a demon spiritualist'

Long: 'nether world entrance is covered by a barrier that requires at least legend realm or above to pass through. So, even if Raphael can analyse the barrier and find a way my soul force would not be enough to pass through the barrier'

After contemplating for some time Long comes to a decision to his dilemma.

Standing up from the ground Long says, " so, Glory city is the only place that is left to go that has cultivation resources and is not too dangerous."

Long: " but Glory city is quite a long way from here Nie Li and other cultivators can travel to the city in 10 days but they are faster and stronger than me and also the route they too was a dangerous one and I cannot handle right now. what to do?"

Long thinks this and becomes dejected a little bit. before remembering something that may be the solution for the problem.

Long: " if I remember correctly in the story Now Li tells the people of plateau about a longer but safe route that can be use to move entire village. now that I think about it i obviously will make less noise than a whole village and they will also have civilians, women, childer and elderly but they are able to safely travel through the forest and reach Glory city. With my skills and Raphael I sure can too"

Long: "In the story Nie Li states that it will take about a couple of months to reach Glory city at a reasonable pace but that was stated with taking entire village in account not a single person who has Raphael assisting him. i am sure I can travel through the entire journey in 1 week i am sure with Raphael's help and using my skills but if I meet demon beasts it will be a problem and would not want that."

thinking about how to keep the demon beasts Long gets frustrated but doesn't get an answer.

*aaarrrrhhhh*

Long: "it's so annoying i can't think of anything to keep demon beasts away or how to protect myself efficiently in case of an attack. all that thinking has make me hungry let's eat some tasty poisonous fruits...."

As Long says that he becomes speechless and shocked. after snapping out of his daze he slaps himself in face and says, " stupid, Long answer was all around me and i ignore it. since, you have entered this forest have you seen any demon beasts. No, why? because poison duh. you can use different poisons in the forest to keep demons away from yourself as they will sense it's legality and keep distance between you and them. and if one of them becomes brave and do attack you can just use poison to kill them."

Long after realising his stupidity says to Raphael, " Raphael create poisons that can help me throughout the journey"

Long chuckles and scratches his head embarrassed, " i totally forgot Raphael can't work at full power due to me being weak. Well i should prepare breakfast and pick fresh fruits for journey"

With that Long leaves the place goes to prepare for journey ahead.
