1 Terrorist attack in College

A boy was sitting in his chair in front of the laptop reading some recent light novel chapters. He looked outside of the window and said, "The weather today is so depressing just like my life". Saying that the boy got up and went to the washroom to clear his mind. This boy is Adarsh Pradhan, who is in 4th year of his college (22 years old) and is living in the student's dorm. He has 5'10'' height and slightly fat which makes him look cute. He is very a big otaku who has just watched most of the anime and read light novels. He was depressed with his own obsession with these things and went in a period of depression missing a full semester of his studies. But today he decided that it all ends now and he will go to the Library to study.

I went to the washroom and washed my face, brushed my teeth and took bath. Then I readied my bag pack to go to the library. Just as I was about to open the door, I heard a huge explosive sound which almost caused a huge shock making me fall on my butt onto the ground. I then opened the door and ran towards the balcony to see a huge fire coming from the canteen and on the road, there were black vans and people with automatic guns. I was scared shitless, I never imagined that something like this will happen to me which was just like in an action movie.

I went back to the room and took the Swiss knife that I have brought from Amazon for fun. I kept the knife hidden in my shoes(socks) and was thinking of what to do when the room was suddenly kicked open and a huge scary-looking guy came and shouted, "Come out with your hands behind your back or I will shoot you". I was scared and obediently went outside, there I saw that there were few students like me who bunked the class.

The group of terrorists didn't bother checking the students because they didn't think that students from a research institute like ours will carry any weapons. They make us go in a straight line with our hands behind our heads towards the auditorium where they kept all the students. On our way, we say that many of the security officers were shot to death which makes us even more afraid of our situation. I went there and quickly found my friends who were also scared as me. I went there and asked Ashutosh(who is also my roommate) in an as low tone as possible, "Do you know whats going on, why are there so many terrorists in our college". To be frank our college was research-oriented and not much popular as other colleges as not many were interested in plain research.

He looked at the terrorists and then towards me and said, "We have heard that they heard some of our professors have made a breakthrough in particle physics and it can be used to make a weapon of mass destruction. So they want his work". I thought, 'Why are they so heavy-handed if they want his research. They could just kidnap his family and ask him about it. But NCL(National Chemical Laboratory- A national-level research institute) is 100 meters away, Then there are many research colleges and Army Southern Headquarter 10 kilometers away'.

I was thinking there must be something else going on and then one of the terrorists looked towards us and said in a loud voice, "Shut up or the next time you will have to forfeit your life." We all kept quiet and silently sat there. After 10 minutes doors of the auditorium opened and some teachers and students came with their hands behind their back like how we came. I thought, 'They must be coming from Main Building which was research Laboratory for all fields'. Then we saw that the Head of the Biology department was being carried by the terrorists. His face was black and blue and his body was bloody that means he was tortured. I was sitting there a quickly connected the dots as I was also a biology major student, 'Professor was working on Genetic modification to unlock human potential. SO this must be it, They want his research to create some sort of super soldiers for their terrorist group'.

I think that many students also have connected the dots.

After another 5 minutes an angry-looking guy came he must be some sort of leader. He came and shouted, "All of you fuckers submit your cellphones otherwise we will start shooting now. And the one who called the police come up here or I will start by random killing until I get you". He then makes all of stand in a line so that we will submit our phones and those who said they don't have phones. For them, the terrorists were checking personally. I was almost scared to death because I brought my Swiss Knife, if they found out then I am dead. I was visibly shaking with nervousness. Then my number came up and I passed them the cell phone with a shaking hand and they didn't do anything and let me go away. I think it because almost everybody was shaking so there is nothing major in that.

I was just about to get slightly relax when I heard a gunshot and one of the students was dead. All the students started shouting and crying. The leader was annoyed by our voice so he shot towards upwards and said, "Shut up you fuckers, because someone called the police we had to kill them which have alerted the Police force. SO shut up and the one who called come up or others will die". After that, he called about 20 people then asked about it and after some time he killed them. I was so scared that my face became pale. Then he called a girl to come up. The girl was crying and slowly went ahead. Just as she was about to go a boy hold her hand and said, "Let her go. It was me who called the police".

As the leader heard he started laughing and said, "SO it was you, then this must be your girlfriend". He then asked someone and few strong men came and started and beating that guy. The Leader saw this but was unsatisfied, so he said, " You came forward for this girl, she must mean something to you". Saying that he laughed and turned towards the girl and said, "My dear as his girlfriend you must share his burden. Now open your clothes". The girl's body shook and was crying violently. The leader called someone from behind who has a look of lust on his face and started ripping off the girl's clothes.

The boy who was being beaten begged to do whatever you want on him but the leader laughed and said, "There is something you should never do. You try to play with fire. You plan to get us caught, we are brave soldiers of ISIS, not some looser gang". After what the leader said we all lose all our hope as we know that this was one of the world's most dangerous terrorist groups. Then they beat him up and when he loose consciousness they splashed water on his face then beat him up again. That guy's whole body was broken. While this was going on the lusty terrorist ripped the girl's clothes and raped her in front of everybody. While this was going on everybody of us was sad, scared and angry. But we couldn't do a thing as we know they had guns and could kill up at any moment. After all, this happens the leader killed both the boy and the girl quickly as he heard something from the underling.

Everybody of us sat there without saying anything. Today what happened has shaken everybody to the core. We were just a normal college students but in one day our whole world changed and we don't know what can we do.

My mental state was a borderline sociopath but this event has changed me from inside. My personality became cold and detached. While other students were sitting silently or crying or talking about what to do. I was observing the pattern of the terrorist guards. How were there arrangements and how they were doing when somebody asked to go to the toilet or how they were behaving? Like this, the day went by and it was now evening. Their plan was to quickly collect the data and kill everyone and go back but due to the guy who called the police, everything went disarray.

The police have secured the perimeter and media got news of it and it became a huge news. The Army came with tanks and choppers. There were about 50 terrorists who were demanding with the Governments. To make the government scared they cut off the heads of all the dead teacher, student, guards and threw them towards the gate. I overheard some of the terrorist discussing about bombs and I decided its time to take action otherwise these terrorists might die alongside with all of us (suicide bombing), or kill us with bombs after they went away.
