95 Chapter 95. Five Wyverns

A loud clatters of feet sounded as a large mass of soldiers retreated a few miles back under the lead of the two remaining generals. The remaining twenty thousand beasts idle but in a cautious stance as they all eyed Leo while standing behind Nazar.

"I truly underestimated you," Nazar spoke as he looked at Leo now with a more serious look.

"Haha! I don't blame you. I'm only thirteen," Leo smiled as he looked at Nazar with an extremely mocking expression, returning the sword to it's sheath.

"Thirteen?" Nazar asked in confusion as he could not believe what he had just heard.

"I know you are young and have a lot of talent. Why don't you join the Ruby kingdom?" Nazar proposed as he saw incredible value in Leo. He obviously did not believe that Leo was only thirteen but he did believe that Leo was incredibly young and talented for his age.

"Not my desire. Your army destroyed my village when you first attacked," Leo immediately refused as he explained his back story.

"I see..." Nazar spoke as he sighed, "Then I can only se-"

"Why don't you just stop?" Leo suddenly proposed back.

"What?" Nazar looked at him with a completely lost expression.

"Why don't you stop attacking the Lapis kingdom?"

"Are you serious? Hahahaha!" Nazar suddenly laughed as he could not believe what he had just heard, "I might actually believe that you are thirteen now."

"Then what is your reason behind this? Why must you attack us?" Leo asked again as he saw that Nazar had no intention of agreeing to Leo's proposition.

"I see no reason to explain this to you," Nazar answered coldly and he lifted up the staff before pointing it towards Leo and immediately all the beasts began emitting battle intent as they all prepared to charge.

"So this is the only outcome..." Leo spoke as he heaved a heavy sigh of regret and took out his sword again and slashed it against the air to clean the blood that was on it and he began walking towards the beasts.

"You should know that all your beasts are useless," Leo commented as stopped, reaching thirty meters within the beasts.

"We'll see about that. Charge!" Nazar exclaimed as all the beasts once again charged forward.

"Let me add a little bit more variety in this," Leo spoke with a sudden glimmer in his eyes as he began pouring countless energies into this. Earth, air, fire, water. And seeing that the sword had reached it's max capacity. Leo threw his sword right in front of him, flipping it furiously as he flicked his wrist so that the sword only spun in front of him as it created countless sword arcs of a myriad of colors.

Not good!

Warning signs immediately rang out in Nazar's mind as he was in a state of both shock and uneasiness. He forced himself to recover as he began planning a strategy of attack.

The beast tide had arrived fifteen mets

Ching!

Leo suddenly grabbed out at the sword handle as he had a look of excitement in his eyes.

"I finally integrated it! Let's see how this will work," Leo commented anxiously as he pulled the sword back all the way to his left, preparing for a horizontal slash.

Zoom!

In a matter of a second, about fifty arcs formed from the four primal energies felt out emitting a fearsome energy as they all landed upon the beast horde.

The green arcs all seemed to hit everything extremely forcefully and each hit forced at least four dozens of beasts backwards.

The blue arcs all hit the beasts, smoothly passing through their bodies as it slowly turned into a blood red color from the bodies of the beasts.

The red arcs all caused acute sharp burns as they hit each beasts.

The white illusory arcs seemed to be most effective as they all cleanly cut through each body in two passing through five dozen beasts before exploding into a large wind dome that sent shard winds to mutilate all the beasts in it's five meter range.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Countless explosions occurred sweeping up countless amounts of dust everywhere, blocking everyone's visual sight.

Confusion appeared in Leo's eyes as the noise in the battlefield suddenly died down. Well it was to be expected since he had just killed off most of the beasts. But the silence that permeated through the dust was too silent, there was no moans of pain or slight noise of beasts moving desperately or anything like that. He had around sixty percent of his Nether energy and around fifty percent of his elemental energy left.

Alarmed but now willing to waste any energy, Leo simply stood there waiting patiently as the dust slowly cleared.

Visibly confusion appeared on his face as fog slowly cleared, revealing a whole different landscape. A weird luminous fog surrounded him and the ground beneath him had become covered by a thin layer of fog as if the gas in liquid nitrogen was hovering over the ground.

A few seconds followed and the fog slowly began to retreat as Leo's visibility increased to a fifty meter radius.

"Interesting..." Leo commented in praise as he saw the fog slowly retreat even further.

And just before he was about to move to look around, Nazar's voice sounded in the distance in front of him as appeared from the retreating fog.

"Confused?" he asked as he thought that Leo was hiding his uneasiness.

"Welcome to the space inside the scepter. Your living hell," Nazar pompously informed.

Roar! Roar!

A barrage of roars sounded from behind him as five blue wyverns slithered their way in front of him. Their body long and slender as they were about twenty meters in length and their faces looked menacing as vapor escaped from the sides of their mouths. Their tails barbed with two long bone spikes that pointed upwards as if it were ready to strike. They quickly slithered their way in front of Nazar as they glared at Leo with their vertical slit pupils. The energy they radiated being comparable to a origin realm stage six.

"Interesting... You did very nicely," Leo applauded with a smile as he looked at Nazar.

"Hahahaha!" Nazar suddenly broke out in laughter, "Impressive, you are still able to act so arrogant despite your situation."

"Haha, I know right," Leo laughed as he nonchalantly took out a series of weapons from his backpack. He brought out six swords and placed them all in a line as Nazar looked at it curiously.

"Are these your strongest?" Leo asked after coming back to the middle of the swords.

What was his plan?

Not wanting to waste anytime and finish Leo as quickly as possible, Nazar commanded all five wyverns to charge forward and attack Leo.

Hearing no reply from Nazar, Leo decided to give it his all now as he did not want to waste time and closed his eyes as he placed his hands together. His thumb, and pinky bent as their middle phalanges touched.

He pressed the knuckles and immediately cracked them.

Rumble!

A silence rumble came emanated from Leo as his hair immediately turned black and the tips of his hair turned shiny neon red. His pupils turned into a gradient of blood red, black, and yellow as he looked at the beasts in front of him as red killing intent began coating him like a cloak.

Leo then suddenly flashed to the first sword from his left and disappeared in flash as he left an afterimage. But as soon as he grabbed the first sword...

Crash!

Shock appeared on Leo's face as the wyverns were a lot faster than he had expected. In a flash, they had already arrived upon Leo's body.

Reaching him, the first wyvern immediately turned it's tail, smashing it onto Leo who had his fists crossed in front of him to block the blow.

As if he had been hit by a blacksmith's heavy hammer, Leo was sent back a few meters.

And before he could even react, the second wyvern had appeared again behind him as it did a forward roll, bringing it's extremely heavy tail to strike Leo from above.

Rumble!

A large gust of wind swept across the scene as Leo's body was forced downwards as it sank a meter and a half onto the ground, leaving only his forehead and his hands that were stopping the tail above the ground.

"They had good coordination," Leo silently whispered to himself. This situation was not so good for him. He needed to take out these beasts at once, if he went for them one at a time then it would waste too much energy and he would not be able to beat Nazar.

'If this goes on, I won't be able to beat them. I need to wait...' Leo strategized as he saw no better option.

His thinking was abruptly ended at that moment as another wyvern appeared on top of him with it's barbed tail pointing straight at the hole at which Leo was lodged into.

'Not good' Leo thought as he jumped out from the ground, narrowly dodging the barbed tail as the wyvern struck the ground with a thunderous thud.

But now that he was in the air, Leo's situation was not good as he did not have any objects to jump off from. Feeling the presence of something behind him Leo quickly turned around as fast as he could but he was a fraction of a second late as another large heavy tail landed on him, knocking the air out of his lung as he plummeted towards the ground, creating a ten meter crater.

Cough!

Leo coughed up a mouthful of blood as a numbness spread across his body from the area of impact.

"Haha! That hurt a bit..." Leo coldly laughed as he wiped the blood stain on his chin. Although it did hurt, it was nothing compared to the pain that he suffered during the tribulation.

Seeing that just their attacks would not be enough, the wyverns each lined up in a horseshoe formation surrounding Leo and large vapors of smoke began escaping from their mouths followed by a crackling sounded as t\\he temperature around them rose.

Seeing this, a cold smile appeared on Leo's face as he saw all the wyverns closely huddle up as the smoke in their mouths slowly increased. He slowly walked over to the line of swords that he himself made and he moved them all to a identical but more concentrated horseshoe formation as he stood behind it with one sword.

With the sword in hand, Leo began infusing his energy into the sword and it almost instantly began to glow black as red sparks spiraled around it.

Seeing this, the wyverns immediately stopped charging as the temperature quickly rose to a peak and lightning exploded out from the mouths into a beam striking Leo.

Boom!

Five clean electric blue beams of light struck Leo's body causing a loud boom to resound as his body became engulfed with a vibrant white light.

However, confusion appeared on Nazar's face as he did not hear a response from Leo.

'What's happening? Did they kill him at once? Why did he not scream?'

A cold smile appeared in his face as he came to the conclusion that Leo must have been defeated. But his enjoyment was suddenly interrupted and permanently stopped as Leo's voice cold voice sounded out, "Silent Slash: Nether Variant!"

Vvvvv!

One black soundless sword arc emerged from the white light.

A weird scene occurred as the sword arc struck. Each wyvern continued spitting out the beams but suddenly stopped moving the second after and they froze mid air as if they had just lost WiFi connection.

Spurt!

Suddenly, each of the wyverns had fresh blood flowing out of their body in a long straight line in the places where the sword arc had struck.
