9 Chapter 9. Opening the Arts room

The next morning was quite normal, nothing much changed in Leo's daily routine except for the fact that he now did his everyday things quieter as little Lex would spend most of the day sleeping.

After finishing his mother's afternoon shift and arriving home, Leo immediately went to his mind space, today was the day that he would open the Jutsu hall. He had planned to do it last night but Aurora had unexpectedly wanted to join him so he had to delay it to here.

*rip*

The brown note that contained the requirements to unlock the door was ripped into shred and the mightly double doors were slowly pushed open and Leo was greeted an extremely small room.

'Eh?' Leo thought confusedly.

The room was an extremely small room and there was a small electrical device that looked like a closed laptop and next to it was a small dim-lit yellow lamp that was very welcoming to the eyes standing on a small thin wooden table with thin steel legs. Alongside that was a small comfy chair that had padding on the bottom and on the backrest. It was literally what you would expect how your dad's office at home would look like.

Leo approached the slick wooden table and took a seat on the comfortable padding and instantly the laptop opened and the display screen turned on, displaying a welcome message:

This is the Arts hall. Currently, you are able to learn arts, complete arts that are not complete, etc. There are also other features but those are currently locked due to the strength of the user and due to not meeting the requirements. However, that is not the thing that you would be worried about right now.

This laptop is a library on its own. This laptop will have everything regarding occupations, there will also be a tablet that will form after you have read this. That will be the Arts tablet and it will automatically fill up when you find manuals for arts and scrolls for techniques. If you have read the complete art once then you can instantly find it here and are able to learn it easily but if your art is incomplete, you just have to spend experience points, they can be obtained when you create something in your occupation, to complete it.

You may be wondering why this room looks so small? Well, this is because you are still yet to fully unlock this room. Please get stronger and quickly unseal the third door! There is a message from the God that sent you here for you when you unseal it!

"Wow. Does everything in this mansion have to be connected? Ugh… Also, why are the occupation books located here?" Leo complained excessively, "also why are they rushing me so much? The old-fogey has absolutely no sense of professionalism."

"Beats me... but these experience points sound interesting, I should find out more and check it out after I've browsed the Arts tablet which should be appearing soon."

*Clank*

A large tablet appeared out of nowhere right next to the occupation laptop. As soon as it appeared, it's screen lit up as a large online novel reading website appeared on its interface. Intrigued, Leo went towards the tablet and saw that there was only one lonely manual on the screen and nothing else, he was instantly disappointed but not surprised, although he had read a lot of books in the village library, unfortunately, none of them turned out to be arts. Excitedly, Leo tapped on the manual and it immediately opened and a large description of the art appeared:

Nether God's Nihility Fist

An attributeless art that can shake the whole world. Brings instant damage to anything that is in contact with the user's fist when it is executed.

Any attribute can be added to strengthen the damage given off by the art and side effects can be added.

As Leo read this, he found out that it was another side reward that was provided by the mansion since it was called 'Nether God's Nihility Fist'. It was an attributeless art and that meant that any element could be added to it. It was like a sharp blank piece of paper that did not have any words written into it.

Receiving this all of Leo's previous disappointment was washed away as he now realized how much of a win this was for him, he now had an art technique and not just any art. His trip to protecting all the people that he loved would get closer and closer to the beginning.

Suddenly filled with excitement to use his new power, he immediately ran to the training hallway but he suddenly returned back to reality. It was almost evening which meant that he had to go out and meet the persistent Aurora. He had been meeting her every day after the feast due to her constant requesting and both had unexpectedly grown closer and ended up becoming best friends.

"Mom, I'm going out to play with Aurora! I'll be back soon!" Leo told Ava as he walked out of the Areia house.

'Aha! I can try it out there and maybe even let Aurora learn it,' Leo suddenly thought, 'Hmm. I wonder if I can let her come into my mind space.'

And suddenly, a large light bulb lit up his mind as he realized, 'wait a minute… The impartation hall… Maybe using that, I can teach her. She is a very kind person, I'm sure that she would not disagree to do this.'

After thinking this, Leo had subconsciously made it to the field where an expectant little Aurora was diligently waving towards him.

"I'm sorry for being late," Leo apologized.

"No problem! I just got here," Aurora replied.

"So what's the main plan for today?" Leo asked as Aurora would often come up with things to do during their meetups.

"Today, we are going to go and go herb searching. You said that you have read everything in the village library so you should be able to identify the herbs," Aurora proudly told Leo her plans for today and took out a fancy looking leaf, "Look! I've already found one!"

"Hahahaha!" Leo broke out in laughter as he found out where Aurora's proud tone came from.

"What's so funny?" Aurora asked, annoyed.

"That's not a herb," Leo told her as he continued laughing

"Hmph," Aurora angrily turned around and began walking off.

"Hey! Wait! I'll go with you, we can find herbs and cook them into a nourishingly healthy soup," Leo suggested and the duo began searching the area around the field for herbs and plants. Since Aurora wanted to be a doctor in the future, Leo decided to help her because he thought plant picking would be helpful for her in the long run.

And after thirty minutes, they were finished collecting a bunch of wild vegetables and herbs, Leo started practicing the Nihility fist and Aurora, who had currently no idea about arts, tried boiling herbs and vegetables as she tried to learn to make soup.

"Agh! Phew! Eww! Disgusting!" complained Aurora as she tasted the soup and immediately spat it out and started to cause a ruckus.

"Haha, hey Aurie, how's the soup going?" asked Leo innocently, knowing full well what Aurora had just done.

"Shush you... I am trying my best, I just can't remember how my mom cooked it," answered Aurora as she stuck out her tiny pink tongue at Leo and began recalling her mother's processes to making the soup.

"Well, you better hurry because I'm almost done and I'm starving, if you don't help feed me then I am going to die of hunger and it will be all your fault," Leo evilly mocked.

"I know, I'm trying my best. I am sure I'll get this right. It will be the most medical soup you have ever had," said Aurora with some newfound confidence that seemed to come out of nowhere and she began to magically move her little cute arms around as he grabbed various herbs and threw them into a pot that she stole from her mother's kitchen.

"Oh yeah, Aurie. I can't come here tomorrow, my dad is gonna take me to sign up for the dojo. But I promise that the day after tomorrow I will have a surprise for you," Leo informed Aurora as he thought that it was the best time to tell her.

Hearing this Aurora's face visibly fell into an extremely disappointed and sad expression. But knowing how the village works and that this was bound to happen, she forced herself to regain the previous happiness and replied with a very badly done forced smile, "Ok then, I will be waiting for the surprise. Let's take a break tomorrow and meet up on the next day then."

'Yep. I have to protect those close to me. Aurora is a very nice person, I must also protect her. There must be a way to pass other people my strength or to teach them at least. Ok, tomorrow, I must check out the Impartation Hallway,' Leo thought as he caringly looked at Aurora creating an extremely adorable scene.
