7 Chapter 7. Birth of Little Lexus I

Since the unsealing of the first door, Leo's newly made main plan was to try and unlock the locked Arts room so Leo's previously boring time-wasting days were now made more meaningful as he now spent more of his time now helping his mom at the library and by doing so, he had access to the countless thousand books that were at the library and so he managed to read about three books a day, maybe four books if there weren't many people. He only managed three to four because he had to help his mom during her short shift which lasted only for a meager four and a half hours which gave him about only three and a half hours of free-reading so finishing three books was quite efficient in his opinion.

And so many months casually passed by, this time, they were not wasted as Leo slowly increased the number of books in his mansion's library and slowly etching closer to his short-term goal of unlocking the Arts room. With the passing of these short yet meaningful months, another extremely important breakthrough had occurred and Leo's control over the killing aura was improved to level two and now he could hide it from kids.

This was an extremely beneficial breakthrough for him and his family as kids now no longer felt scared or intimidated by him and even sometimes began talked to him so he could now begin to make friends if he wanted to. This brought such a sudden positive change that when Reon and Ava found out that kids had begun interacting, talking, and even starting conversations when they went to other neighbors to have dinner, they were extremely shocked and bewildered. Additionally, deep inside they were massively relieved and happy as they would now no longer have to worry about their Leon not having friends.

And there was yet another big change that happened during these months and that was the bulge on Ava's belly, it was getting bigger and bigger, rounder and rounder. The expected time of labor in this magical world would normally take two years which took quite a while for Leo to get used to as he tried to understand the science behind it, but this meant there was still a long expectant year left which for the baby to be born which meant that Leo's little brother would be brought out onto the world when Leo was almost five years old. And due to growingly intensive heavy labor, Ava's body was slowly growing weaker, little by little, which worried Leo but he was confidently reassured by a comforting Reon who informed him that this was quite normal and that it had also happened when he was also in Ava's womb. And that this just meant that Ava could not work for this remaining year and just had to stay in the Areia house. This was basically not a problem for her as Ava currently had pretty much no difficulties with the casual housework in the home.

Somehow worried about their small family's income and about absence from the library, Leo tried desperately to convince his mom to let him take her place at work so that he could keep reading but it was immediately turned down as Reon immediately refused the idea as he thought that Leo was too young to have a job. However, Ava knowing how hard-working her husband was and how much money they made in a year, was quite accepting of the idea as this meant less stress for Reon and it wouldn't be much of a problem as there were no problems are home. And so, she managed to convince the unwilling Reon who ultimately decided to trust his wife and eventually agreed.

And just like that, a silent, calm yet fruitful year passes…

Leo was sitting on a chair in the library with his eyes closed, his soul was inside his mind space and standing right in front of the Arts room doors that were locked by a note. He calmly looked down as desperate excitement shone in his golden-brown eyes and he read:

Requirements:

14 talents chosen(14/35)

Books of this world read(3000/3000)

The first door of the unsealing hallway opened(met)

"Finally! Yes! I have been reading so many books and for so many continuous hours that my mind could literally explode from the massive amounts of knowledge that I learned. And this could not have come at a more eventful time, my little brother is gonna be born today. Next stop, the talent hallway," Leo excitedly shouted in joy and satisfaction as he finally hit the three thousand books mark. He then slowly turn towards the giant library exit and walked out and started happily hopping towards straight towards the talent hallway.

"This past one and a half long years, I've basically read everything in this giant library regarding talents, occupations, and arts. Unfortunately, the village only has information regarding it and no literal arts but nevertheless, it's time to choose some more talents, I have 35 talent points that I gained from unsealing the first door."

Leo calmly walked into the talent hall room and started wandering, looking for any new talents that he might like and his eyes immediately started darting across the white quartz altars as he started reading the descriptions that were written on the little metal plate of the talents.

Eventually, about thirty minutes later, he once again arrived on the empty space in the middle of the talent room and he had thirty-five variant energy balls that were glowing in a myriad of vibrant wispy colors. He had decided to spend twenty-four points on upgrading all six of his primary talents and then another five on his photographic memory talent. Alongside that, now for the remaining six talent points, he decided to spend four points on medical talent, one point on Heavenly Nether God's Eyes, and the last remaining point on Demonic Nether God's physique.

He had discovered the last two talents while on his exploration in the mansion's library where he had found out that this mansion had come with its own set of side rewards, and from them, he gained these two talents that he spent his last two points on, the Nether God talents:

Heavenly Nether God's Eyes:

Eyes that can see through any magic and locate enemies and weak spots and locate treasures.

Once obtained, "continuous use will slowly improve this talent" and cannot be upgraded with talent points.

Demonic Nether God's physique:

A body that can shake the world with each step. Impenetrable by all weapons at peak and able to recover any injury almost instantly.

Once obtained, "taking massive amounts of damage will slowly improve this talent" and cannot be upgraded with talent points.

Having finished with his talents, Leo urgently went to the training hall to check out his strength.

"Whoa… Just those two new talent and I'm already comparable to refinement realm cultivators. Huh? Strange... The village library does not have any information on the realm stages above emission, I can't wait to get out more," Leo's attention then fell to the two nether talents, "but hmm, I'm very intrigued by these two Nether God talents. The '1/1000' counter must be like an experience points counter, I wonder how long it will take for it to reach its peak, it must be extremely powerful when it's fully upgraded. Hehehe! Now I should be able to find out the strength of the people in the village using the eyes. Oh crap! I'm gonna be late!"

Leo immediately returned to reality, he quickly locked up the village library and ran home as fast as he could.
