65 Chapter 65. Lex, Laura and Leo's situation

Shocked filled the beautiful faces of the two ladies as they stared at the sect in the far off distance. If they were tourist randomly walking in this area they would never have know that a sect had once existed in this place.

"Who are you guys?" Pwea asked cautiously after seeing a smile appear on Aurora's face as fear was completely absent from her face.

Seeing the strength of these kids, she knew that they must be from a strong power as she herself would not be able to beat that man who Leo had beat. The part that blew her mind even more was that they looked to be half of the man's age.

Aurora then turned to her and began introduced, "I'm Aurora Wellbloom and this boy is Lexus Areia and that boy who just fought is Leon Ariea."

"I meant, where are you guys from?" Pwea reiterated her question after seeing that Aurora did not give her the answer that she was looking for.

"Oh… We are all from a village called Meno in this kingdom close to the Ruby kingdom's border. It was destroyed when the ruby soldiers started their attack towards the Lapis kingdom," Aurora replied nonchalantly.

"What!?! You guys are from a village!?" Pwea suddenly sat up and looked at Aurora in complete confusion as if she had just seen a ghost.

"Yes… Is there something wrong with that?" Aurora replied with even more confusion. What was wrong with that? she thought cluelessly.

"Then you must have a master at least right?" Pwea quickly asked again after giving herself a slap on her cheeks to make sure she wasn't dreaming.

"Nope," Aurora smiled.

"Whaa!" Pwea was completely mind boggled.

Firstly, Aurora was not a normal girl. Her talent was completely heaven shaking. She looked only fifteen and yet she had cultivation of middle emission realm and her medical talent was something that some adult could not even achieve. Even the royal families of this empire would pale in comparison to Aurora's talent.

"Hmm. Well if I were to answer then I guess Lex's brother could be said to be my master," Aurora spoke with her hand on holding her chin as if she was deep in thought.

"Heh?..." Rema was suddenly lost in complete confusion. What Aurora had just said could not be comprehended by her. How could a boy that young have the resources and all things to nurture them to such a level.

"Oh yeah! I wanted to ask what is your cultivation realm?" Aurora asked curiously.

"I am at refinement realm stage six," Rema replied with no expression.

"Woa… You must be from a good backing to be able to reach such a stage at such young age," Aurora commented happily.

Pwea simply nodded as she basked in pride.

"Wait until you meet the squad leader," Pwea spoke arrogantly.

"Meet who?" a voice sounded from beside them as a godly handsome man walked out from the bushes with a girl in his hands.

"Leo!" Aurora called out happily and ran out to hug him but then she realized that the girl in his arms was badly hurt.

"Laura!" Wenella immediately cried as she rushed forward to her disciple.

"She stabbed herself in the neck. Her condition is not good but she is not in any life-threatening state," Leo replied as he placed Laura on the ground.

"Thank you," Wenella replied as she bowed to Leo showing her immense gratitude.

"I-" Aurora tried to speak realizing that Leo's attention was now fixed on Lex.

"Don't worry. I knew about it from when it happened. I might know what is happening to him so don't worry. Although, it would be nice to have someone explain it to me," Leo spoke as he did not blame Aurora.

"Phew. I was so worried. I'll explain the story," and Aurora began to explain the whole story of how Lex had ended up in that situation.

"I see," Leo replied and he gave a very heavy sigh, "so I was right in destroying that sect anyways."

"Let me introduce myself. I'm Leon Areia but I prefer to be called Leo, thank you for helping Aurie and Lex," Leo thanked Wenella and Pewa as he formally introduced himself.

"It's fine. I was just protecting the princess," Pwea replied as she lost all her previous arrogant appearance.

"Princess? Leila is a princess?" Aurora asked in confusion.

"Oh… uhh… I can't really speak about it, or else I will be in trouble. I'll let the leader explain when she comes back," she immediately panicked when she heard Aurora ask.

"Can you tell me about that white light that fell on Leila and Lex? I can't heal them with my medical skills. They seem to be sleeping. Lex's body is growing larger and his aura is growing stronger and more dark while Leila looks like she's metamorphosing into some kind of angel," Aurora asked in slight worry.

"Don't worry. They are not harmed in any way… At least that is what I think," Pwea replied reassuringly.

"You think? What do you mean?" Aurora asked again, this time with more worry.

"Umm… I can't explain… I was only told about what the light would do to the princess, not others."

"How long will your leader take to arrive?" Leo suddenly asked.

"Hard to tell. She should be arriving as soon as possible. I sent her a signal through my talisman so she would know where we are," Pwea replied.

"I see... Well then I don't intend on staying here for too long. Since they can find us with the badge why don't you travel with us? That is of course once you guys are all rested up," Leo suggested as he made it seem like her did not plan on staying here any longer.

"Oh, are you guys in a rush for something?" Pwea asked curiously.

"Yes. Aurora and Lex have a deadline to arrive at a certain place by the end of this month. But before they go there, I planned to take them to our home village," Leo answered with a simple smile.

Pwea paused for a few seconds and then nodded as she agreed, "Ok. I'll come with you guys."

A smile immediately appeared on Aurora face.

Leo then turned to Wenella who was listening to the conversation quietly as she laid next to her disciple waiting for any sign of movement.

"I'm sorry. It was my fault that she got hurt," he began by apologizing, "I feel like I owe her so I want to ask if you would follow us. Once I send Aurora and Lex on their way, I will immediately find a cure for her."

"It's not your fault. I couldn't take up your offer. We would be just extra weight on this trip," Wenella tried to politely decline but Aurora quickly broke in, "well... You guys don't have any place to stay for now. Why not just join us anyway? This could be fate."

Wenella paused for a few seconds in deep thought as she considered her best choice of actions. She eventually ended up nodding as she agreed to join them.

"Just a question... How old are you guys?" Pwea asked as she got more and more interested in the backgrounds of these kids.

"Oh! We both thirteen," Aurora replied as she warmly smiled.

"You are only a teenager? How can this be possible? I am only twenty-three years of age and I am only at refinement stage six. How is it possible for a thirteen year old with no background to beat me?"

"It's a big world," Leo replied as he walked to the edge of the hill as he looked at the sky with the sun about to bleed it crimson.

"Amazing… You are clearly not normal. Wait a minute! What is your talent?" Wenella asked another question to the both of them.

Leo didn't reply this time and shook his head towards Aurora.

Receiving Leo's reaction, Aurora sniggered with an evil laugh and then spoke, "Leo turned down the talent test. Mine is all affinity one-ringed pink."

"This is amazing, how can a village girl have such talent… Wait, Leo turned down?" Wenella asked, confused and shock at the same time.

"Well long story short… Um, he refused to get it tested."

"I've never heard of someone rejecting a talent measurement test," Pwea commented, intrigued as she got more and more curious about the identities of these kids.

"Anyways! Let's rest up, I didn't realize the sun is about to set," Leo spoke as he changed the subject, "we can leave tomorrow. I'm a bit tired anyways."
