63 Chapter 63. Golden Wrath Sect is no more I

Bang!

Dangerous sparks flew across the plane as the sharp steeled edge of a silver sword metal the iron tip of a spear, leaving countless slash marks all over the place.

"Haha. You are better than I thought," Quinn commented with a smile. But deep inside he was filled with extreme tension. Seeing such a young talent, it was clear that he was extremely talented but where could that talent come from? The chances of a boy being this talented not being a part of anything was extremely unlikely.

Leo did not reply and simply reacted with a warm smile face as he looked at Quinn and suddenly charged forward as streaks of black began to coat his sword emitting a weird undescribable energy.

"Haha! I saw that move before already," Quinn haughtily replied as he infused energy in his spear and it began to glow and the tip became purple as electric sparks appeared on the surface. He did a hard lunge as he stabbed the spear forward as hard as he could.

Lightning art: Meilum!

A loud Zzzz sounded as a blast of refined lightning energy was sent flying straight towards Leo in lightning speed.

"I added a twist to this one though," Leo replied with an innocent smirk as he vertically slashed with the sword downwards.

Silent Slash: Dark variant!

A large arc immediately grew from the sword and rapidly moved through the air to meet the spinning bolt of electricity.

Boom!

A loud crash sounded as the two attacks met creating a blinding purple lightning to strike everywhere within a five meter area and a fierce gale that forced all elders to use their energy to stay rooted onto the ground.

Vvvvvvvvv!

A deafening vibration sounded as both energies fought to overcome one another causing a merge of black and purple while radiating countless shockwaves of energy.

Suddenly...

Screech!

A sharp sounded rang out as the two energies suddenly exploded. The black energy fell like fire on the ground while the purple lightning seemed to have vanished.

"Haha! I didn't think you were holding back," Quinn laughed as he tries to hide his surprise. He did not think at all that Leo would be able to counter this attack.

"Oh, is that all? You aren't putting up much of a fight," Leo's voice suddenly sounded behind him.

"Wha-"

Before he could finish, Leo land a clean firm punch straight on his face

Caution emerged on Quinn's face as his body was forced to be more alert and take Leo as an enemy of almost equal strength.

"Now you've done it!" he angrily shouted as he felt extremely humiliated.

"I'm going to have fun now!" he coldly spoke and the air around him began to change as dark energy began to rise from the ground around him.

Rumble!

A loud rumble emerged from the ground as countless bones emerged from the ground, taking the shape of human skeletons.

Warning signs came up all over Leo's mind as he immediately focused his attention on the growing number of skeletons.

"You're an array master?" Leo asked curiously as he suddenly realized countless rune marks symmetrically drawn along the borders of the arena.

"Haha! I'm surprised that you are actually able to tell," Quinn replied as his eyebrows surprisedly rose. He then raised his hand as he made a series of hand seals.

"Thanks a lot for healing me," Pwea and Wenella replied happily to Aurora who was currently healing them. Both of them had spent a bit too much of their energy and had a few fractured bones.

"Don't worry. You are all fine," Aurora happily replied with a smile as she finished healing them up.

"Wait a minute!" Wenella suddenly cried out with a face full of worry.

"What's wrong?" Aurora immediately asked.

"Where's Laura?" she replied as her mind drifted to a conclusion that she did not want to accept.

Rumble!

But before she could continue, a loud rumble sounded from the sect. Immediately, all their heads which were now filled with anxiousness turned to the sect.

There was a large dark green dot on the ground in the arena and it quickly grew and swallowed up the whole sect, coating the sect grounds with a deathly aura.

"What is that?" Aurora asked in shock as she immediately realized that the energy was not something Leo radiated.

"That is an array. This is not good! We must go in and help him!" Pwea spoke worriedly as she felt like she owed Leo something for saving her and she began to force herself up to her feet.

But before she completely got up, Aurora suddenly placed her hand on Pwea's shoulder, "do you remember what I told the sect leader?"

"What do you mean?" Pwea asked curiously as she tried to recall and decipher the meaning behind what Aurora had just said.

Boom!

An explosion sounded as a large ball of energy appeared from the arena ground.

"The fight has started again," Aurora sadly commented as she walked to a tree and sat down with her back resting on it.

"Ugh! This is annoying," Leo commented as he struck down another skeleton but they kept on appearing countlessly.

"Haha! This spell will keep going on for another half an hour," Quinn mocked.

"Ahhh!" a loud scream of a female girl sounded in the arena.

Laura was laying there in an extremely pitiful state with fear written all over her face as countless skeletons surrounded her.

"I can't delay this anymore," Leo spoke as he grasped his sword as darkness coated his sword.

Shing!

A loud scrape of the sword sounded as it began to glow with the color of stars and streaks of a nebula cloud escaped from the sword in small wisps.

He then took another slashing stance as he dragged the dirt as he moved his leg along with the dirt.

David's aksi: Nebula strike!

Zoom!

Leo suddenly dashed forward at a frightening speed leaving a straight tunnel trail of beautiful starry clouds behind him, immediately pulverizing every skeleton that was in his path, he then appeared on one end of the arena with a destroyed rune mark on his hand.

He then disappeared again and in the matter of a few seconds, countless straight lines of beautiful mesmerizing clouds appeared in increasing straight lines.

"Nooo!" Quinn shouted in anger as Leo quickly managed to locate and destroy every rune mark in the area. Realizing that one of his two trump cards had been destroyed, Quinn suddenly turned and dashed towards Laura who was lying on the floor, still recovering her energy.

"You will do," he evilly spoke.
