6 Chapter 6. Unsealing the first door II

Leo then quickly walked out and made his way towards the talent hallway and immediately went in to choose his talent orbs. He was warmly welcomed by the same room from before but now the room had seemed to have expanded tremendously as there were hundreds of quartz altars with different colored glowing orbs and on each white altar was a small metal plate that had the descriptions of the talent engraved on it.

However, since Leo had already made his decision on which talents to choose, he ignored all the enchantingly colorful altars and directly walked to a particular corner that had the initial six primary talent and began reading their description plates, he found out that all their descriptions were basically the same, it read, "each talent point spent will upgrade your element affinity rank by one whole grade. Current rank, ten-ringed-green. Next upgrade, ten-ringed silver. Can be upgraded all the way to ten-ringed diamond rank."

After reading their similar descriptions, Leo went around to look for the previously chosen photographic memory altar to read the description and after a solid minute of walking around, he stopped his footsteps upon a clear yet mysteriously wispy orb that was placed on top of a white altar that had a metal plate reading, 'photographic memory.' Leo then read the description,

"At level one, the user will be able to recall everything that happened in the last two minutes and have the ability to permanently memorize anything that has been studied for five hours.

At level two, recall everything that happened in the last fifteen minutes and permanently memorize anything that has been studied for four hours.

At the max level, recall everything that your senses have experienced in the last six hours and permanently memorize anything that has been studied for five minutes."

Reading this description made Leo more convinced that he really required it, being able to remember anything with in the last six hours was like a cheat code. If only he had this ability back on Earth then he could literally ace every test in school. No wonder people who were born with this had become such famous people.

After strategically thinking for a while, Leo eventually decided on how and where to distribute his fourteen talent points. He decided that since he currently had fourteen points and there were seven talents that he had chosen in total, he decided to spend two talent points on each. And so he tapped on each of the seven talent orbs twice and two will-o-wisp like energy balls formed in the orbs and then few downwards and were dispensed from a small opening that appeared on the altar and fell onto Leo's hand. He then took the fourteen small energy balls that were the size of golf balls and brought them to an empty space in the middle of the talent room and slowly started swallowing them one by one.

Gulp...

The first fire energy ball had been swallowed and Leo could feel it's warmth as it smoothly went down his esophagus and into his stomach.

Crack!

Splash!

The first fire energy ball had been shattered and a wisp of a beautiful golden flame was absorbed into Leo's body sending waves of comfortable heat circulating along his blood vessels gently as if it were petting him. After circling Leo a couple of times, it calmed down and the golden flame had vanished into him and Leo moved onto the next balls and in the end, the same sensations and experience occurred for all the other fourteen energy balls.

After this was finished, he quickly walked over to the unsealing hallway in excitement and stopped in front of the doors as a bright smile appeared on his face as the note now read:

Requirements:

Killing aura control: Being able to hide intent from adults(met)

Having chosen talents(met)

"Yahoo! Finally, the start of my unsealing journey has begun! I have been waiting for this since birth! I can finally protect myself!" loudly bellowed Leo as he was filled to the brim with excitement and determination. He slowly placed a hand on the bold black door and started to push the door open.

Creak! Creak!

Then he slowly put more pressure, the doors gave way and budged slightly and a gap appeared. Seeing that he was met with no resistance, Leo excitedly pushed the doors with all his might and flung it open. As the doors creaked open, Leo was unexpectedly left in confusion as nothing happened for a few seconds. However, just as he was about to speak out his confusion, a bright light suddenly appeared in the unseeable misty area inside the doors and a fresh natural enchanting wave of comfort splashed over Leo as he felt that his small body was filled with energy overflowing to the brim and he felt as if he could lift a whole mighty mountain with his one slim hand.

"Woah!!! This feeling is amazing! I should find somewhere to try out this new unsealed strength," Leo thought hard before he suddenly smacked in amazement as he scolded himself, "You stupid brain! This place has a training hallway, why didn't I think of this earlier?"

The misty unseeable room suddenly brightened as small medieval-style wall lamps began lighting up and Leo could suddenly see then second door ahead of him. It was now a bright bronze double door that was held together by another note.

"Hmm. I should check the requirements of the next door."

Leo walked over to the mighty second doors and compared to the first door, it was many countless times more grand and majestic as it eluded an unearthly aura that was completely different from the first door. Leo bend down slightly and fixed his eyes on the note and began reading it:

Requirements:

Killing aura control: Able to hide it from children, toddlers, and infants(not met)

Arts learned(0/14)

Custom fusion art learned(not met)

Custom art created(0/3)

As if a huge iron anvil had been dropped over him, an extremely pained look appeared on Leo's face as he looked at the requirements which were many times harder than he had thought them to be. He had not even unlocked the jutsu room and had never heard of a custom fusion skill and custom arts… He had never thought about it at all before but it did not seem simple to say the least.

"Sigh I've earned a lot already. Let's not worry about this now. Off to the training hallway!"

Leo made his way towards the training hallway excitedly as he was itching to measure his strength. He began wondering,

Maybe it will be like those hammer strike thingys in the circus where a metal ball flies up to ring a big metal alarm bell. Or maybe it will be like those punching meter things...

So with the high hopes of there being a measuring machine, he swiftly entered the training hall.

This time when he entered there was no note or voice that welcomed him or gave him an introduction. But fortunately, it seemed that there was no need as all the equipment was labeled and there was a how-to operate manual written on a note that was stuck on the equipment.

And as Leo's eyes wandered across the room, his interested gaze fell on a pod-like machine that looked like the sleeping pods in the movie 'passengers' and it was labeled 'Character status scan' and he quickly opened the glass pod door and laid down in the machine and pressed a large red button that was labeled, 'start.'

As soon as he pressed the button, the glass door slowly vibrated as it closed upon him and he was welcomed with a bright warm horizontal ray of red light that was like a barcode scanner at the supermarkets and it shined upon him horizontally and went down from his head to his feet and up again to his head. Soon after three rounds of scanning, a *ping* sound rang as a *click* followed and the glass door opened and Leo stepped out and a metal block slowly appeared, protruding from the bottom metal half of the pod. After another *ping* sound rang the metal block that came out from the machine was filled with a bunch of writing with the title 'status report' appeared. It read:

Name: Leon Areia

Ten-ringed bronze earth affinity

Ten-ringed bronze wind affinity

Ten-ringed bronze lightning affinity

Ten-ringed bronze sound affinity

Lv. 2 Photographic memory

Very happy with the results, Leo then began looking for a punching bag or something that could act like one but just as he continued walking, a small migraine hit him and he was suddenly transported to reality.

"Oh come on!" Leo complained.

"At least let me get to try out my strength!"

"I need to find a way to increase my mental energy. It seems to have hit a bottleneck, ugh!"
