59 Chapter 59. Sect Leader appears

Suddenly, Lex immediately dashed forward, leaving a horizontal streak of yellow and white.

"You won't get through!" the elder mocked as he prepared to block Lex's attack.

"I'm not the one you should be focusing on," Lex spoke as a smile escaped from his lips.

As Lex said that, a sudden barrage of energy shot at the elder forcing him to shift his focus on the energy.

"Scum like you don't deserve your status," Lex angrily commented as he suddenly appeared six meters behind Drexler.

Boom!

A loud sparkle of electricity appeared from Drexler as it quickly grew to the size of a large twenty diameter ball destroying the life in all areas that the sparks touched.

"No!" screamed the elder as he immediately rushed towards Drexler.

As the lightning slowly dissipated, Drexler was revealed in an extremely sorry state as he had burns and scars all over his body with an large body on the left side of his chest.

"You!" Drexler forced out while blood began pouring out from his mouth and wound as he lifeleslly fell on the floor.

The elder immediately ran over to Drexler, inspecting him, trying to heal him.

On another end of the arena, two girls appeared next to Lex.

An overbearing heavy silence filled the crowd as they realized the damaged that had been inflicted onto Drexler.

However, the silence was quickly broken when one of the girls suddenly turned and smacked Lex in the back of the head lightly and the two began to argue.

"Ow! Sis! What was that for? I thought I did quite well," Lex complained while rubbing his head with a pained expression.

"You dumbo, our main aim was to find the parents, not to kill him," Aurora annoyedly reminded.

"Oh," Lex replied as he suddenly realized and began apologizing, "my bad."

Having scolded him, Aurora now turned to the slowly dying Drexler who was was lying lifelessly on the floor.

"What a shame! Leila, I don't think we will be able to find out where your parents are," Aurora disappointedly told Leila.

Leila herself did not take that for an answer as her eyes began spanning across the crowd seemingly searching for someone.

After a few seconds, her gaze seemed to rest on a boy who was slightly younger than Drexler.

"You! You were there when Drexler came to the village, what happened to my parents?" Leila anxiously asked to the boy.

Upon seeing her gaze land on him, the boy seemed to panic as he knew that he was in an extremely precarious situation. He had come today to support Drexler but little did he expect that Drexler would be killed and his life would be in the hands of the weak village girl that he had picked on.

"Answer me! Where are my parents?!"

"I don't know," he replied shakily.

As soon as he said that, Aurora appeared next to him. She coldly looked at the boy's eyes and seemed to be peeking into his soul.

"Tell the truth. You are lying," she coldly replied as she released the aura of a condensing realm.

It seemed like the pressure was too much for the boy as he immediately dropped his act, "Alright! Alright! I'll tell you the truth! Please don't hurt me!"

"Speak,"

"That girl's parents were killed by Drexler. They were captured in the village when she ran away. And we took them here. But when he heard from someone that she had killed herself, he flipped with anger and killed her parents. They were already filled with injuries so they couldn't retaliate."

Crash!

Hearing this, Leila immediately fell on her knees and her eyes turned empty and hollow as she was stunned and her knees became rooted on the spot as she stood there like an unmovable statue.

Tears began to fall out of her eyes and she began to cry as her mind began to break down from an explosion of emotions.

Back then when she found out that her parents were taken by Drexler, she had thought of the worst but still had hope when they did not find their bodies in the village but now, the words of the boy had completely crushed her hope. She was completely broken. Her mind became filled with thoughts of sadness and guilt.

"Mom… Dad… Forgive me, your foolish and selfish child has made a huge mistake that caused both of you to die. I'm sorry," Leila slowly spoke almost inaudibly while sobbing.

Boom!

The killing intent of Aurora was suddenly released as she completely flipped. An overwhelming pressure fell in the arena as everyone's breathing got heavier.

"Ooooo, you got sis Aurie angry now! I feel bad for you guys," Lex's mocking voice sounded.

Aurora now began to slowly walk towards Drexler's body, "I will end his little puny miserable life. A good for nothing like him has no right to live in this world any longer," Aurora said with her hateful eyes fixed on Drexler who was lingering between life and death.

"I wouldn't advise that. He is a member of royalty. The royal family of the Lapis kingdom will go after you if you kill him," a manly middle-aged male walked out of the crowd, warning Aurora.

"He is a member of royalty?" Leila suddenly stood up and asked Drexler.

"Yes, he is Drexler Lansa. His uncle is the Lapis King," the man replied, thinking that Drexler's identity would change their mind.

Rumble! Rumble!

As soon as he replied, the clouds in the sky suddenly began to grow darker and the heavens loudly rumbled as darkness suddenly began forming and started gathering right on top of the arena.

"Wha-What is this!?" the man shakily spoke as he thought that this came from Aurora.

However, on the other end, Aurora herself was also quite curious and confused about what was happening. She did not do any of this and the dark smoke that escaped through the cloud in small wisps was giving her a small but intense foreboding feeling of danger.

"Ahhh!" Leila's scream suddenly filled the area. And immediately, everyone's gaze fell on her.

She seemed to be screaming in pain as she grabbed her head and her body started shaking vigorously.

"Leila! Leila!" Lex immediately ran to her side and tried to figure out what was happening to her.

"Ah! It hurts! My head feels like it's going to explode! My back feels like it's being stabbed with needles on the inside," Leila screamed in agony as she fell on the floor with an extremely pained expression.
