57 Chapter 57. Lex's entrance

A small six-year-old boy walked out patting the dust off his clothes with an annoyed expression on his face.

"Did you guys really have to attack the walls? You even made my clothes dirty. I fell quite a distance you know, " the boy spoke with a 'how could you do that to me' expression.

His eyes curiously raced around at the scene in front of him and his attention fell on Laura, he consolingly commented, "my goodness, beautiful lady, you are very badly hurt. Your internal organs have been injured and your hand is crippled. You fought very well. That fight was so cool!"

"Who are you?" Drexler asked with an expressionless face.

"I'm Lexus, I'm just a traveling boy who managed to stumble in this place. Anyways I have a bunch of questions for you," Lex replied with an innocent smile.

Drexler immediately paid him no mind and quickly turned back to Laura and slowly began to walk towards her with an evil smile on his face.

"Hey! Arrogant guy with funny glasses! You need to explain something to me. It's rude to ignore someone when they're talking to you," Lex annoyedly spoke.

However, he was still ignored and Drexler still continued walking towards Laura.

Seeing that he was ignored, Lex ran towards Laura and arrived next to her before Drexler could. He immediately shocked everyone with his speed as it was not a speed that a child of his age should be able to achieve.

Lex knelt down next to her and took out a yellow liquid from his pocket and told her, "Hey, you must rest up. You fought well. I saw your determination there. Here drink this, it should heal you up."

Red light immediately flashed in Laura's mind as she tried to refuse but in her current situation, she had no strength to move or reject as the boy opened the lid of the small cylinder bottle and fed her the yellow liquid. Immediately as she drank it, she found the liquid was extremely delicious. It tasted like honey and lime, an epitome of sweet and sour. And a few seconds later she slowly felt her body slowly heal as her cuts and burns slowly healed while Lex began to bandage her broken hand.

"Your arm will take the longest to heal but I'm sure that you can talk now," Lex informed as he finished bandaging and stood up to face Drexler.

Shock filled her face as she could not believe the talent of this young boy. She could tell that everything that he just used to treat her was made by him.

"Why are you helping me?" she curiously asked as she no longer felt the intense pain that was tormenting her.

"I'm also a commoner. My brother wouldn't like it if he saw me letting a fellow commoner get unfairly beat down," Lex replied at a volume that only she would hear.

A subconscious smile appeared from Laura's beautiful face as she interestedly looked at Lex.

Meanwhile, upon witnessing the effect of the yellow liquid, the crowd went absolutely bonkers! Even the elders and upper statuses had a form of shock written on their faces.

"My goodness! Did you see that?!"

"Her injuries are healing up at that instant!"

"What kind of godly potion is that? It must be made by at least a stage four doctor!"

"You! Who are you? How dare you heal her! She is not worth wasting such a powerful potion over!" Drexler spoke in anger as he finally looked at the boy. This boy had just decided to heal her in front of him To him there was no difference between this and receiving a slap in the face.

"Hehe, she was injured and I was impressed by her fighting will. Plus it's my choice to choose whoever I feed it to," the boy replied mockingly as he approached Lex.

"You!" Drexler was speechless in anger.

"Now. My question. Where are the village girl's parents?" Lex simply asked as he reached Drexler.

"Haha! So that's what you are here for. You must be here for the reward. Bring her here and leave. I'll give you the reward here," Drexler suddenly smiled.

"You didn't answer me. Where are her parents? If you don't answer me, I won't hand her over," Lex expressionlessly spoke.

"You little boy, now you have made me angry. Just because you are a child doesn't mean I'm going to take it easier on you. If you can beat me then I'll tell you," Drexler haughtily laughed as he provoked Lex.

"You are going to fight me? Yes! Please! Finally, I thought I was going to have to ask you but it seems like that won't be necessary," Lex immediately started jumping out of happiness and gave Drexler a big happy smile as he cried joyfully.

"Lady, I will have to move you away from the field for now," Lex turned around and spoke to Laura as he carried her and dropped her off at the top of the stands.

A large blush appeared on her face as she had never been carried before and Lex managed to make a huge impression on her heart.

Meanwhile, the sect members that were watching were completely dumbfounded. They were amazed that this little boy had the courage to publicly speak out at the two who were fighting. These were core disciples we are talking about! Not just any sect disciple! They would become a pillar of support of the sect in the future and yet a little six-year-old boy decided to publicly talk against them.

Lex suddenly took a stance and started slowly radiating his middle gathering realm energy. He took a step forward and suddenly, he disappeared.

Drexler immediately went on alert as he looked around but no matter how much he looked, he could not find Lex.

"Right behind you," Lex's cold voice sounded next to his ear.

Drexler immediately felt a tingle of fear in his spine and tried to turn around was instantly met with Lex's fist landing right on his face and sending him crashing dozens of meters away on the other end of the arena.
