43 Chapter 43. What is happening?

"Haha! This is going to be good," Acul laughed as he charged forward, with his sword still sheathed.

"Oof, this is going to hurt," Leo helplessly spoke complaining as he ran forward as well.

Bang!

Two fists met! One small fist and a larger one connected as a large shock wave of energy shot out! And immediately, the larger fist overpowered the little fist as a large empowering energy shot out sending Leo backwards flying off a few meters.

Seeing Leo get sent flying, confusion appeared on Acul's face as he placed his hand over his mouth as he gasped in fake flamboyance. He childishly spoke, "Oh my... How did you get sent that far off already? I haven't broken a bone, have I?"

"Ugh, you think that measly punch was able to break a bone of mine?" Leo mocking voice sounded as he slowly stood up. A few creases appeared on his leather armor as he walked over and charged once again.

"Haha! Do you think at all that you will win this battle?" Acul mocked as he punched out again, hitting Leo straight on the abdomen as he was once again sent many meter flying again.

"Ahhhh! That was satisfying!" Acul called out in pleasure as he lovingly rubbed his hand, almost petting it.

But his happiness was soon cut out again as Leo's body slowly moved as he slowly stood up and walked up again. Difficulty appeared on his face as a frustrated expression appeared on his face as he looked downwards, 'only five points, this is going to take too long.'

"You think that your measly weak punch will affect and manage to hurt me at all? You better use an art or else that you won't ever get me admitting defeat," Leo scoffed as he berated Acul.

"You think that you will be able to deal with a full-fledged art from me? How arrogant, you better not blame me for this at all," Acul insulted as he arrogantly gave off an evil smile.

Immediately, he began charging up his energy and a dark green colored aura began coating his body. Eventually, the energy formed and grew thicker and began to collect on his left arm.

"Haha, I want to let this pain escalate slowly so I won't start off with my strongest just yet," Acul spoke, taking the role of a 'guardian angel.'

"Oh my I can't wait!" Leo spoke excitedly as he took a proud step forward.

"Hahahaha! You see that Aron? That boy of yours will soon belong to the Weaver clan and I will do whatever I want with that child!" Wade arrogantly laughed as he slowly turned his head towards Aron who did not have a confident look on his face. And everyone on the Weaver clan looked at Leo, then to Wade, then towards the Decan clan members as an arrogant gleeful smile appeared on their faces.

Immediately Acul charged forward, causing a large gust of wind behind him as he quickly reached Leo.

Weaving chain tornado!

Tak!

A clean clear hit landed on Leo's chest as he immediately coughed up a large mouthful of blood as he was sent flying straight onto the arena wall, causing large cracks to appear like light that perfectly shone upon a spider web as they raced across the wall. Countless rocks began falling out of their places, causing many spectators to fall down clumsily into the large brown dust cloud that blinded the visibility of everyone while the slightly more fortunate others hurriedly ran away to a more safe side of the arena.

The situation in the Decan clan's seating was even more desperate as Aurora began to panic and her eyes filled with concern as she leaned forwards as fear and concern appeared on her innocent face. She got up almost instantly and ran straight to the dust cloud. As she almost arrived to the wall where Leo was sent flying to, she was suddenly grasped tightly on the hand by the officiator.

"My goodness! Look! The little goddess has moved!"

"The man has caught her by the arm,"

"What the hell is going on?"

The crowd broke out in amazement and shock as all eyes fell on her as people began curiously thinking about what would happen next.

"You are not allowed to move any further," the officiator warned as his hands clamped on Aurora, like an immovable handcuff that was stuck to a million tonne boulder.

"Let go..." Aurora coldly spoke as she suddenly flared in anger as she turned to the man with an extremely cold glare.

"Move a step forward, and that boy's situation will be more complicated than it already is," the man warily warned.

"Let go now!" Aurora screamed in frustration and anger as her cultivation level was suddenly released revealing her early gathering state as she forced her hand free with some strength and she immediately ran towards Leo.

Shock appeared in everyone's eyes as they all looked towards Aurora in awe and reverence. How could a child that had just taken the ceremony a few days ago possibly have such a high cultivation realm this quickly. This had completely broken their mental stability on what was normal... no. It had broken what their mental image on what a genius was.

"Haha, do not bother even trying to search for him," Acul arrogantly laughed as he slowly stepped forward, "I clearly felt my punch hit and break his armor. Oh that soft squishy feeling of his weak moldy chest."

"Shut up!" Aurora shouted again as she immediately turned towards Acul with a glare as a fearsome red tinted black appeared on her fist as she slowly charged up for her attack.

"My goodness! Is that a black-ranked art?! How could she have learnt that already?!"

Shocked expression appeared on everyone's faces, this time on the Decan and Weaver clan members' faces as all their mouths opened agape in awe and fear.

"Uncle, did you know about this already?" Aron asked shakily as he forced himself to regain his composure.

"Not at all. She never told me much about her," Alfred replied as he also slowly recovered his emotions on his face.

"How unexpected! This doesn't stop you from your inevitable defeat, you were initially going to be spared from this but it seems like you are forcing yourself into this situation," Acul spoke with a pained expression as he guiltily also began to charge his energy.

Aurora then suddenly charged forward and punched forwards while Acul responded the same way.

Boom!

An even louder shock wave sounded this time as both fists clashed, sending countless amount of dirt and unstable energy radiating from them as the ground began to shake slightly.

"Amazing! She is holding out on her own against a condensing realm!"

"No, look! Her energy is slowly fading, she doesn't have enough energy to keep the art going!"

Suddenly, the green fist of Acul broke through Aurora's black aura and landed straight on her face as she was sent flying towards the walls again.

This time the sound of Aurora crashing at the wall could not be heard and instead a coldly yet upbeat voice called out, "I've been thinking of a nickname for myself. Simp king... What do you think?"
