35 Chapter 35. Leo's time to shine?

Alerted and intrigued by the voice, Leo and Aurora quickly turned their heads towards the bridge and they saw a rich-dressed boy and a middle-aged peak middle gathering realm slowly walking across the beautiful exquisite bridge.

"You are truly beautiful, when I saw you at the arena I knew that you had to be beautiful," the boy heartily laughed as he walked forward with his eyes fixed on Aurora as he was completely shocked by her beauty.

"Who are you guys?" Leo cautiously asked with a tone of coldness.

"A mere degenerate dares to talk to me for no reason! How presumptuous!" the boy scoffed as he reached the end of the bridge and onto the island.

He then quickly walked towards Aurora and introduced himself, "Greetings, Miss Aurora. I am Dan Weaver, second son of the Weaver clan head, Wade Weaver. I was just walking by when I managed to catch the exquisite aromatic scent of your cooking and I couldn't help but stop by to check out what such an exquisite dish would be made here."

Hearing this, Leo suddenly gave a short and quiet laugh, 'Why are all people like this?' he thought as he intently looked at Dan.

"How did you get here? This area is restricted and only clan elders and the clan head can come here, plus that wasn't what you said when you were on the other end of the bridge," Leo coldly asked as he walked to Aurora and stood in just front of her.

"Tch! How dare you speak to me! You, a mere degenerate male noble who was too embarrassed about his talent that he could not bear to even take the affinities test even approach me and try to converse with me," Dan laughed out as he loudly mocked Leo.

'My goodness, what is it with all these dumb young reckless nobles and their arrogance? I'm getting tired of it, this is so uncool,' Leo thought as a thread of rage zoomed through his mind.

"Anyways, I wanted to ask if Aurora herself would mind if we join you guys with your meal?" Dan asked with a smile as he looked at Aurora.

"No. I'm afraid that this area is restricted, I kindly ask you guys to leave please," Aurora replied, trying to be as kind as possible.

"Are you just going to reject my offer?" Dan asked as his eyebrows spasmed in anger and shock.

"I'm afraid so, you are in no place to just offend Leo. Ever since you insulted him, I knew I would never like you," Aurora blandly replied in a cold tone.

"If we are going to leave, then I'm afraid we are going to have to take you with us," the man who was silent for the whole time began to speak out with an evil smile as he looked at Aurora with great interest.

"Haha, so that was your plan all along huh? I knew I shouldn't have taken that test," Leo laughed as he turned around and placed a hand on Aurora and whispered, "Go to the house and keep Lex safe. I got this."

Aurora simply nodded and smiled, "ok," and began to pack up her table and dishes.

"What do you think you are doing?!" Dan shouted in anger as he saw Aurora turn around and begin clearing up the island.

"Well, I don't want my delicious pork chop to go to waste so I'm packing it up for later," Aurora simply answered, her mood seemed to be happier and lighter.

"How d-"

"Stop complaining you, little crybaby!" Leo mocked loudly as he raised his arm and stretched and gave a loud yawn.

"Hahaha! How funny! A boy who is close to death still dares to insult me!" Dan laughed in anger as veins in his neck began to bulge in extreme rage.

"Death? I'm sorry but I have no intention of dying yet, and the fans of the last chapter complained that I was not famous enough so I have to take some form of action," Leo laughed loudly. He then turned to the man behind Dan and lazily asked, "How long will I act that I don't see your six other friends that are hiding around the pond?"

"You-" the man's face immediately changed in shock and disbelief from the fact that he couldn't believe that Leo had seen all of them. 'How did he find out that there were six of us?' his mind raced as he tried to find an explanation.

"Sigh... I don't like fighting, I prefer to stick to the shadows. That way I don't get bothered or messed with, are you guys sure that you are going to take Aurora?" Leo annoyedly asked with a hint of coldness.

"Hahahaha! I have no idea where you get your confidence but you have no chance of defeating us all. We are all cultivators at gathering realm and young master here is at manipulation realm," the man scoffed.

"Well then, how about we switch up the battlefield? Let's go to the other shore of the pond," Leo spoke as he lazily spoke.

"Ok then, let's go! I am going to cave your face in and make it so deformed that you won't be able to be recognized by your parents!" Dan arrogantly agreed as he began walking behind Leo.

"One.." Leo spoke out blankly as he continued walking.

And Leo took them to the shore on the mainland, "Are you ready?" Dan loudly spoke as an evil smile appeared on his face

"Actually... On second thought, maybe this isn't such a good idea..." Leo spoke out as he seemed to be having doubts.

"Hahaha! Too late now!" Dan spoke as he sent a punch towards Leo.

But Dan's punch seemed to be going in slow motion as Leo easily dodged the punch, "This is not going to be easy at all. How do I beat you guys up without killing you guys?" Leo spoke to himself but at a volume that the males could hear him in.

"Haha! How arrogant!" Dan spoke as he shook off Leo's dodge as a miscalculation and he sent another move, and another, and another, and another, and after a minute or so, Leo had dodged all of Dan's forty punches.

"How are you doing this?" Dan amazedly spoke as he looked at Leo in confusion.

"How are you able to dodge all his attacks when you haven't even started cultivation yet?" the man spoke is disbelief as he was once again shocked by Leo's prowess.

"How much longer are you going to dodge?" Dan loudly exclaimed in frustration as all his attacks had failed to hit Leo for the last two minutes. It had looked like Leo had just barely dodged all of them and that it was luck but seeing that this exact outcome had appeared of the whole two minutes, Dan eventually blew up and frustration filled him.

"I was thinking, maybe to let you all off and let you guys go off on your own and back to the Weaver clan. But since you guys came for Aurora in such a short time, this means that you guys had planned this for a while. I presume your plan was to capture the clan head's son but since Aurora appeared, you switched your hostage onto her," Leo spoke out wisely.

"Impressive, you managed to figure out all that from just thinking alone. This is amazing for your own age. This makes me curious, why did you deny the test?" the man curiously asked as he was impressed by Leo's abilities.

"Well, I didn't see any need for two stars to appear in the Decan clan, I have no intention of stealing the spotlight, I like staying quiet and low," Leo simply added as he retreated a couple of steps, "What are you planning to do with her?" Leo cautiously asked.

"You have no reason to know," the man coldly replied as he gave off an evil smile.

"Hey! Stupid son of Waddle Weaver! What are you going to do with her?" Leo asked with a bored expression on his face.

"How dare you insult my father! I am going to make sure that I kill you and that girl now!" Dan spoke as he became enraged and lost control of his mind as rage and anger filled him.

"I see. I was kind of expecting that answer, either way, I know that you will harm Aurora. I can't let that happen- Remember... Your biggest mistake was threatening a person who I love. Too bad, now... decided that I think it's better to kill all of you even at the price of this beautiful land. And if your father finds out, I'll kill him too, there are people that I cannot tolerate to have them being insulted or abused or tortured," Leo evilly spoke as a dark chilly air came from his as he revealed his cultivation stage.
