32 Chapter 32. Affinity test officially begins II

Hearing the name being called, Leo's mind was immediately brought back to reality as he and Aurora anxiously raised their head with anticipation and looked towards the middle. And at the exact moment that he saw both of them, he arrived at the crystal, his eyes mockingly glared at the duo as he gave them a 'watch this' expression and placed his hands on the crystal and focused his attention on the crystal.

A huge air of suspense fell on the whole arena as all eyes concentrated on Wallace. This was an extremely important decision as this would play a part in determining the future power statuses in the city. The Weaver clan was the second most powerful clan in the city, the first being the Decan clan. If the talent of Wallace was to be in the mid-ranged gold-ranked then it would probably be really tense for the rest of the clans in the city.

A long vibration of the crystal followed, a few seconds that felt like minutes passed as the suspense built up like a landslide, and a huge vibrant glow like the emerging rays of a dawning sun appeared on the crystal. It took a few seconds as a large gold tornado appeared under a large mud temple and appeared on the crystal.

"My god, this is the brightest the crystal has glowed so far! It seems the Weaver clan has obtained the best seed in the ceremony so far!"

"Look at it! There's a mud temple underneath the tornado! This must be a dual affinity talent!" a spectator shouted in awe and amazement.

After another five seconds, a series of halo-like rings appeared above the golden tornado and the temple, as for the amount of them, there were seven.

The voice of the officiator sounded as he proclaimed Wallace's results, "Seven-ringed gold wind affinity! And seven-ringed gold earth affinity!"

"My goodness! This is amazing!"

"Hahahaha! That's my son!" a haughty loud laugh broke out from the Weaver clan's seating area as the clan head stood up and smiled at Wallace who was proudly standing as he basked in the crowd's amazement and disbelief.

The sect elders were all keenly looking at Wallace as they eyed him as a tiger would with its prey. Their eyebrows raised in amazement and expectations as they immediately wanted to take Wallace into their sect.

"This is the first time in a hundred years that we have had someone with a dual gold affinity that was over five rings! Amazing!"

The crowd laid there frozen in shock and amazement as their eyes were staring at the proud boy and the crystal in shock.

"Haha, I knew it. I alone am the most talented in this generation," Wallace arrogantly scoffed out in pride as he turned towards Aurora and continued, "How about it? Are you ready for what's in store? You think you have a chance at beating me?"

"You find out soon, I am yet to be tested," replied Aurora cheekily as she did not show any fear at all.

"I wonder where all you get all that confidence, give up now and I can probably let you off more lightly," Wallace spoke.

However, to his disappointment, he was left with a single word from Aurora as she replied with a simple "Surprise,"

The results of this kid had somewhat surprised Aurora. She had not expected this arrogant child would be this talented and have such fortune. It had somewhat shaken her confidence as she began to think quite concernedly. But suddenly, she was suddenly comforted by a hand on her shoulder. "Your confidence is shaken?" Leo smiled as he asked unconcernedly.

"Should I be worried?" Aurora replied nervously.

"Nope... I haven't told you about something relating to your talent. I wanted to see the surprise on your face," Leo answered happily.

As she turned she saw Leo giving her a confident reassuring nod and she somehow managed to receive newfound confidence as she decided to trust in Leo.

As Wallace walked down, Migi did not waste any time as he immediately called out the next few people.

"Eight ringed silver wind affinity"

"Four ringed silver earth affinity"

Nine ringed silver earth affinity"

Countless minutes passed and it eventually became the Decan Clan's turn and the clan head's son, Abra came up first to be tested from the clan.

He was dressed quite simply, he wore a simple yet majestic white robe and walked in a non-hurried pace towards the crystal. Leo and Aurora had only met him twice before when they were taken around the clan by Alfred. The boy had an incredibly quiet and open personality. He was a role model to all the children in the clan and they all looked up to him as a group of soldiers to their general.

He quickly walked forward repeated the same process that the others did and the crystal suddenly glowed with another sudden bright glow that was similar to Wallace's.

"Five ringed gold fire affinity! Six ringed wind affinity!" Eren loudly announced.

That crowd broke out again in shock and amazement as they all had their eyes frozen on the little child. The appearance of a dual gold grade affinity had broken the previous record of the last hundred years but the appearance of two? This was completely uncalled for...
