23 Chapter 23. Youngest master of the Weaver Clan

"You dare insult my young master that way! Bow down immediately and apologize and maybe he will let you off," the driver loudly barked in rage as he heard Leo insult his young master.

"What is going on?" a young childish voice sounded as the magnificent grand door of the large carriage opened and out walked a small child who was wearing a comfortable green leather outfit, he had incredibly sharp eyebrows and his eyes seemed to look at everything around him in contempt which matched well with his short clean green hair. And behind the small child walked out a bold black-haired man with a large build who instantly caught Leo's attention, the energy emanating from the man was completely over the power level of a gathering realm expert, and the energy radiating from him is being hidden but it's at a stronger power level compared to the general he fought at the village ground.

"Young master!" the driver immediately ran and bowed at the child's feet as he began to explain the situation while pointing towards Leo who was currently slapping the dirt and dust off his clothes, "Young master, this child was standing in the way of your carriage and we crashed into him. When I approached to scold him, he even proceeded to insult you."

"How dare he!" the child angrily spoke as he immediately angrily turned towards Leo, "Go and deal with him!" the child instructed to the man who was standing behind him. The man simply nodded and slowly began expressionlessly walking towards Leo.

"So, what are you going to do now?" Leo simply asked as he stopped his actions and raised his head to look at the man.

"You are going to have to apologize for insulting my young master," the man replied as he faced off with Leo in an extremely provocative manner.

A huge standoff had come, it was like a dwarf facing off against a giant. An unexpected small battle stage had formed as the people who were initially standing on the sides of the road were all subconsciously stepping back in fear as they formed an uneven yet somewhat organized circle whilst having their eyes fixed on the two.

"I'm sorry for interrupting you guys, I hope that you guys can forgive me" Leo nonchalantly replied as he spoke in a bland tone and he slowly turned away and began walking off.

"Stop! you dare interrupt my carriage and then attempt to walk by as if nothing happened?" the child angrily shouted at Leo.

"It was you that bumped into me and I have also apologized," Leo annoyedly replied as he walked to Aurora and the two turned around to walk away.

"How dare you ignore and walk away from me!" the child shouted in anger, "I am Wallace Weaver, the youngest son of the Weaver clan's head."

"I couldn't care less," Leo replied in a smile as he looked back at Wallace.

"Kill him for me!" he furiously instructed as he looked at his guard.

The large man immediately disappeared from his initial position and immediately appeared in front of Leo and Aurora, blocking their path in a flash.

"Look here you little scumbag" Leo coldly spoke as he turned back, "I'm already annoyed enough right now, leave me and Aurora alone."

"Do not speak ill about young master," the guard emotionlessly warned as his hand shot out to grab Aurora and Lex.

"This is it! Poor kids!"

"How unlucky for them!"

The crowd began to whisper among themselves as they thought that it was the end of the trio.

"Wait a minute! Look! The girl disappeared!" a spectator shouted in amazement as the guard's hand clasped the empty thin air.

As the man's burly large palm touched Aurora, she immediately used her movement art to get out the man reached as she mysteriously dashed to right behind Leo.

"Who said you could touch her?" Leo's voice rang out again, this time colder and more provocative as a wisp of killing intent slowly formed towards the man.

A pleasantly surprised expression appeared on the guard's face as he looked at Aurora with more attention. "Where are you kids from?" he slowly asked with his eyes slightly more opened.

"Nowhere, now leave us be," Leo coldly replied as he and Aurora began to walk off once again.

The man again disappeared, this time right in front of Leo as he swung his right hand to punch him.

Boom! A huge shockwave sounded by a huge roar as a huge gust of wind swept the street causing everyone's clothes to flutter like a flag.

However, the scene at the fight scene was extremely tense as Leo and Aurora instantly disappeared from the guard's reach and appeared behind Wallace. Leo had a hand on his neck as he coldly looked at the guard, "You know what to do."

Immediately the man stopped in his tracks as he clasped his hand and nodded, "I admit defeat."

Hearing the man give up, Leo let Wallace who was currently sweating profusely as shock filled his face along with immense fear go.

"Aurie come," Leo spoke and he now officially too off with Aurora into the far end of the street.

"Why did you let them go?!" Wallace angrily shouted as he scolded his guard.

"Young master, they were kids who are your age but they could use arts and I could sense that their energy was not little at all. They must have a strong backing and since they had you as hostage I had to admit defeat," the guard explained.

"You idiot! Then why didn't you stop them after they let me go?!" Wallace angrily cried.

"Young master, there are rules in a battle that each cultivator must obey. You still have much to learn. Once I admit defeat, I cannot attack them as it would be shameless and there is nothing to be gained from it," the guard explained again patiently.

"Whatever! You are lucky that my father gave me strict orders not to disobey your words!" Wallace angrily responded as he walked back into his carriage grumpily while adding, "I am the son of a well-respected Clan head, how dare they make fun of me and treat me so lightly."

Seeing that Wallace had once again gone back into the carriage with the driver following close behind, the expression on the guard's face turned serious for a few seconds as he cautiously looked back at the direction at which Leo and Aurora had gone off to. 'Those kids were dangerous, the girl and boy gave me a very dangerous feeling, they are not to be messed with. The way they acted told me that they have experience. If only you knew that, young master,' he thought as a short pulse of worry shot through him.

"I should go and check them out," the man spoke to himself as he walked over to Wallace and informed him that he would be going somewhere else to do something.

"What the hell are you talking about?! You dare leave me!" Wallace's previously sour mood became even more grumpy as he began ranting loudly.

The man did not pay any mind to this at all and brought out a long brown leather coat and a beautifully crafted two-handed metal sword from the back storage of the carriage and walked out into the direction of Leo and Aurora.

Leo and Aurora did not walk around the streets too complexly as they walked in a straight line and eventually entered a moderately large restaurant that looked like a hotel with three floors which was at the end of a road.

As they entered, they were greeted with a large room that was filled to the brim with people who were happily eating while engaging in jolly conversations.

"You have been following us for a while now haven't you," Leo suddenly spoke as he startled the man who was following him.

"How did you know?" the man asked in wonder as he appeared from the entrance of the restaurant. He now had a hood on his face and a mask to cover the bottom half of his face.

"Why don't you pay for our food? We can engage in a fun little conversation then," Leo suggested as he looked at the man with a smile, not having any intention of replying to his question.

"I see, ok then, I'll lead the way," the man replied surprised by Leo's suggestion. He had thought that another fight would erupt but it had somehow been avoided. But nevertheless, he took the initiative to lead them as he felt like he owed it to these kids for stalking on them behind their backs. The man then walked to the reception table and he rang the small bell that was on the counter.

Ring! Ring!

Immediately, an attendant came out running with a smile, "Welcome! What wou-"

The attendant's voice stopped in its tracks as she saw the man, with his current appearance and his mask, he gave the attendant a very threatening pressure.

"What would our respectable guest like tonight?" the attendant asked with much difficultly as she forced out those words.

"Give us your special for tonight along with some of your best dishes," the man monotonously spoke as he brought out two gold coins and placed them on the counter.

"In-Indeed! Please find a seat and we will get your food to you as soon as possible!" the attendant immediately began respectfully speaking to him as she realized that he was not a man to mess with. And just like that, the squad of four now walked around looking for a table.

"Leo, why did you say that?" Aurora curiously asked as she kept her guard up while walking. She was not completely convinced that the man's intentions were nice and kind.

"Don't worry, I think we will learn more about the city and the Decan clan from this guy," Leo replied with a confident grin.

"And if we don't?" Aurora responded with another question.

"I'll take the risk, he is most likely at emission realm, it should be fine," Leo quietly replied with a sheepish smile.

They eventually walked to a small rectangular table that was placed on the end corner of the room with five chairs around it.
