19 Chapter 19. Destroying the whole area

Far in front of Leo, back at the field was Reon who was currently sitting on the ground as he desperately placed his hand at the gash on his neck as he tried to stop the countless red blood from flowing out. About ten meters in front of him was the Ruby general who was a disgusted look on his face as he scoffed, "Haha… You and your puny village actually dare to try and stop me. How stupid! The ruby army has amassed their biggest army in the last hundred years. With your pathetic Lapis kingdom's army, you guys stand no chance. After this, we are going to make our way towards the capital of this little kingdom, capturing any city we come across, and then you peasants shall be under our rule."

"Ugh… Why attack our village though? We would've let you guys pass through without resistance," said Reon as he forced himself to stand as he spurted another mouthful of blood.

"My men have been walking for a month, they are tired so why not let them raise their morale by giving them some action. You villagers were the best example around, you can only blame your luck," the general simply replied as he haughtily laughed.

"So life is nothing to you? Innocent lives are nothing but disposable material to you?" Reon barked back at the general angrily.

"This world runs through strength. Those who have strength have the power to rule over the weak. We have destroyed your village yet there won't be anyone avenging it, do you know why? It's because no one cares about it. I shall end your life now to relieve you from your suffering as a reward for your bravery and will to protect such a simple poor village. You should know that it is a great privilege to die from the hands of an emission realm expert," said the general as he took his sword and attack Reon with another sword art.

"Take this! Ruby sword's rage!" he shouted as he swung his sword in a vertical arc.

A dangerously threatening bold red glow appeared on the general's swords as violent energy emitted from it and as he swung, a red slash appeared and flew towards Reon.

"Dad!" a loud shout of a young child sounded as a silhouette suddenly flashed from the dense thick trees as Reon's bloodied body disappeared from where he was standing just as the Art landed.

Bang!

As the ruby sword's rage landed, it swept up a huge amount of grass and dirt and huge piles of rocks were sent flying in all directions creating a large smoke screen of dust.

As the dust slowly cleared, the soldiers were left in confusion as they saw that Reon's body was no longer where he stood.

"Hahahaha! My Art was too strong that his body disapp-" the general laughed arrogantly but he was suddenly interrupted by a soldier.

"Look there!" said a soldier in an amazed tone as he quickly pointed towards a toweringly tall tree on the border of the field.

As the other soldiers and the general quickly turned around in the direction of the soldier's finger, they found a child who was currently had Reon in his arms.

"Le-Leo… Why are yo-you here?" asked Reon in amazement as a shocked expression appeared on his face as blood flowed continuously from his lips.

"Dad, mom's dead. She died protecting Lex. Aurora and I got here today, Lex is with us," informed Leo immediately began trying to heal his father.

"Where did you learn how to heal?!" Reon asked in amazement as he turned towards his son.

"I can't explain now, just focus on recovering for now dad," Leo spoke as he began to panic as the wounds on Reon's body were not healing quick enough.

"Don't bother healing me, I have lost too much blood and I have too many broken blood vessels, just run from here," Reon weakly spoke as a spurt of blood shot out from his neck and on to Leo's clothes.

"No, please hang on! I lost mom, I can't lose you too!" Leo shouted in panic as he applied his medical energy to the limit.

"I'm proud of you. Live well, take care of Aurora and Lex, I lo-" before Reon could finish his sentence, his eyes suddenly went void and expressionless and his body soon followed as his body became heavier as his body became empty and lifeless.

"No! Father! I've just lost mom! I can't lose you too!" cried Leo as tears began raining from his eyes as anguish, remorse and grief stuck him.

'Again! Not again! Why! Am I never strong enough to protect them?!' Leo's thoughts went wild as a wild rage built up within him.

Seeing Reon die, the Ruby general laughed out loud as he scoffed, "He would've died anyway. Judging from what you said, he must have been your father. Haha, little boy. This is how life wor-"

"Shut up," said Leo coldly as he gave the general a soul-striking death glare as he slowly lost control of his killing intent as the anger within him reached over a certain level. At that instant, it was as if the world became angry, the previously calm unhindered wind started screaming as a huge gale began sweeping up everything and dark red clouds started gathering, replacing the previous happy white cloud. The ground began slowly cracking up spreading like a spider web from right underneath Leo who was currently going through a considerable change.

"Wh-what's going on?" the soldiers spoke up in fear as the winds got extremely strong to the point where they could almost uproot the soldier and fling them up into the air, they had never seen anything like this and what completely mind boggled them was that this seemed to be coming from a child. This type of energy was completely over the power level of a normal small child, how was he doing this?

Leo's body was currently now radiating a dark devilish red aura that slowly covered him and coating him as a cloak appeared on his back formed from the red devilish killing aura and his eyes turned dark red as he had his eyes fixed on the general, looking at him like a mother bear who had just seen the killer of her babies.

Boom! Flash! Crash!

Dark crimson red lightning directly fell from the sky as it started destroying the battlefield and the clouds slowly started getting thicker and dangerously darker.

Black energy started gathering on Leo's left hand as it slowly formed into a large number of threads that revolved around his hand as a few streaks of red lightning circulated along with it.

"Any last words?" Leo's devilish fiend-like voice rang out as his killing intent reached a peak, bringing an overpowered intimidation effect on the soldiers and the general who were desperately trying to keep their feet on the ground.

"Wh-wh-who ar-are y-yo-you?" said the general as he spoke trembling with fear.

"I am the son of the villager that you just killed. Are you familiar with the concept of Karma?" replied Leo as a very cold evil grin appeared on his face, " those are very disappointing last words."

And at that instant, Leo charged straight at the general as his speed broke past the sound barrier and completely cracked the ground where he initially stood on as he left a trail of small red lightning threads.

Leo was so fast that even before the general could react, a small fist had landed on his muscular chest.

Nether God's Nihility Fist!

As the art was used, a huge shockwave formed as everything in the surrounding area was uprooted and withered out of life. The soldiers and their general slowly faded as their bodies were turned into small tiny shreds and their bones turned into powder.

"Argh!!!" said Leo as losing control of his killing intent had brought massive pain upon his little body and suddenly all the dark clouds gathered into one location forming a completely black perfectly circular cloud. And all at once, the thunderbolt all struck down on Leo becoming a pillar of red as multiple countless thunderbolts struck Leo.

Crackle! Boom! Boom! BoomBoomBoom!

After being stuck by about fifty thunderbolts, the dark killing aura, the red tempest clouds, and the angered untameable wind all suddenly returned to normal, making it seem as if nothing had happened before. But on the ground, there was a huge crater of around a thousand meters wide and two hundred meters deep that was completely dead and devoid of life as only dirt laid there, no life, no plant, no trees.

Puah! Ack!

Leo spat a few mouthfuls of blood as he laid there with multiple burns from the thunderstrike and a numerous amount of gashes began slowly pouring out blood. If it had not been for the Demonic Nether God's physique, then he probably would've been in a worse state. However, his current state was also very horrible to lay the least.

'Mom and Dad, I'm sorry I couldn't save you. But I have avenged you,' Leo thought as his heart calmed down and became peaceful. After saying this Leo forced himself up and began locating his dad's body using the heavenly eye, which had become ashes that were scattered all around the field due to the lightning and strong wind.

After spending about an hour, Leo had collected it all and he slowly turned around and started raggedly walked towards the village. He arrived there after thirty minutes and made his way to the Areia house. But just before he got to the house, his body went limp and lose control from the fatigue and pain as Leo's world turned black as fell unconscious right outside the house.
