14 Chapter 14. Finding news about the other villagers

About six in the evening, there was a caravan carriage and calmly and quietly sitting inside it were Leo and Aurora. Both we inside Leo's mind space training in the art training room in the training hallway.

"Leo! I have completely understood the basics of this dual art now!" said Aurora as she happily hopped over to Leo who was practicing the nihility fist on the other end of the room.

"Good. Well done Aurie, you should be able to protect yourself from others from now," said Leo as he sent a happy smile towards her.

"Say… Shouldn't the others be back by now? We should go and check, I don't think training anymore will help me for today," said Aurora as she felt quite bored of reading for today and along with that she was extremely worried about the others.

"Ok let's go, I'm also quite worried," replied Leo as he completely understood the badly hidden reason why Aurora wanted to go out.

He went to grab Aurora's hand and both returned to reality. They were greeted by large change, when they arrived back at the caravan, the time was around three-thirty and the bright smoldering sun was still in the bright blue sky but now it slowly closing in on the distant horizon turning the sky a rose gold color creating a beautiful scenery. But Leo and Aurora did not have time to bask in the beautiful sunset as they anxiously looked around, only to lower their heads in disappointment as they were still in the sect and even more to their demise, Ol' Wilson and the others were nowhere to be seen.

"Hmm, Uncle Wilson should be here now. They must have been stopped by the sect. Sigh… We should not have gone to the arena," Leo helplessly spoke as he looked up to the sky in mental pain.

"This was all my doing, I wish I didn't come here. Then you guys would be starting your return trip to the village by now," Aurora sorrowfully spoke with tearing eyes and grief as she immediately began to think of the worst-case scenario.

"Hey hey! Cheer up, you came here, you can't 'uncome' here either. It's not your fault. Don't be busy crying over the past, otherwise, you will lose all the present actions you can take at this moment. Come on, let's go search for them," said Leo as he patted her head, consoling her.

"Ok, let's go," Aurora nodded in agreement and they both began roaming the quiet streets looking for the other village kids and adults.

Half an hour later...

"Leo! We have been looking for thirty minutes! I'm getting more and more worried now," Aurora complained as her worries reached a peak as tears once again appeared in her pure innocent purple eyes.

"Watch out!" Leo suddenly shouted as he grabbed Aurora and leaped to the side before getting the chance to reply to her complaint.

Boom!

Suddenly, the body of a person was sent furiously flying in their direction. If Leo had not pushed Aurora and him to the side then they probably would've been left with some fatal injuries. As the body flung past them, a loud crash followed as he heavily landed on a wall, leaving a huge stickman-like imprint of his body.

Sensing a familiarity from the man, Leo and Aurora immediately walked over to check upon him. As they approached him, they saw the exquisite and facial features on the body more clearly and found out that it was a man and that man was Uncle Nate.

"Uncle Nate! Uncle Nate!" Aurora cried as she rushed to his side with Leo.

"What happened?" Leo asked cautiously as he helped Aurora prop him up against the wall.

Uncle Nate was in an extremely grievous state as his face was extremely deformed and his arms were now broken as bones protruded out from his skins and legs were both bent at an incredible angle as numerous holes appeared on his bloodied skin with blood constantly pouring from them. Hearing the voices of Leo and Aurora, he slowly managed to open his eyelids, revealing two bloodshot brown pale void-like eyes and upon seeing two familiar figures, he slowly forced opened his mouth with all his strength as he weakly spoke, "Leo... ta-take Aurora and r-run... The sect leader's son... wants Aurora no... matter what. The... other kids... and Wilson... have been killed because Aurora rejected him. Hurry..."

After saying this, Uncle Nate closed his weary tired eyes and his badly battered body went limp and lifeless. Seeing this, Aurora's body went on a full panic as she began screaming loudly as tears began swiftly pouring out from her eyes, "UNCLE NATE! UNCLE NATE! WAKE UP! OPEN YOUR EYES! PLEASE!"

Leo used his heavenly eyes to check on Uncle Nate to see if there was a chance but he found out that there was no sign of life in his body as he had fractures and broken bones all throughout his body and some had even stabbed into his heart.

"Haha!" the voice of an arrogant man rang out, "I didn't think that he would be that weak. I thought he would be able to take my full-blown attack. How disappointing…"

A late gathering realm cultivator appeared from the other end and slowly walked over to them with his eyes on Uncle Nate.

The man then turned his head towards Leo and Aurora, with a surprised expression on his face he spoke out, "Oh my, it looks like we left out some kids. How unfortunate. Wait… you must be the ones who the young master is looking for. Haha. I'm gonna gain a hefty reward this time."

"Were you the one who hit him?" Leo's blank voice rang out as he stood up with blank expression as his eye turned devoid of expression and he walked over and confronted the man.

"Oh my, it looks like I have made someone angry. Listen here little one, I was the one who sent him flying with my full-powered fist. You better move along, I'm only here to take her. I can let you live if you move aside," said the man arrogantly replied as he quickly reached out for Aurora.

A dangerous flash lit up in Leo's eyes as it turned dark blood red as killing intent was suddenly released from him as he firmly grasped the man's hand as he coldly warned, "Don't you dare touch her."

Having his hand grasped by Leo, the man's face filled with shock and fear as he found out that he could not budge his hand, not even an inch and he could not escape from Leo's grasp.

"This one is for uncle Nate," said Leo as he gave the man a devilish smile that sent shivers all through his body and sent a punch towards the man. A beautiful satisfying crunching sound of broken bones sounded as a fist and stomach met and the man was flying down towards the bottom of the hill and he crashed into the Sect's outer gate, dead.

"My goodness! Did that really just happen? A kid just sent a grown man flying?"

"Am I dreaming?"

Countless whispers filled the atmosphere as the spectators were all looking at the scene in amazement and awe as their jaws went agape from what they had just witnessed.

"Aurora, I want that Spindra to pay for what he did to Uncle Wilson and the others. Come with me, if you are all the way out here then I couldn't come in time if you get hurt," said Leo as a faint dark red aura viciously radiated from him, scaring all sect member nearby who were spectating.

"Ok... I also want to teach them a lesson," said Aurora as she looked towards Leo and gained new resoluteness and confidence.

"Before that, we should go and bury Uncle Nate first," Leo suggested as the red aura coating him slowly dissipated and the duo slowly left the scene walking towards the entrance of the sect.

Silence…

Before, seeing Uncle Nate getting sent flying had drawn a bunch of outer sect disciples here as any form of fighting was a great chance for them to learn and a great form of entertainment. However, now seeing a five-year-old send an adult cultivator flying, the spectating sect disciples looked as Leo with fear and awe. The man that Leo had just sent flying was an inner court disciple who was ranked in the top hundred strongest disciples in the sect. They were a lot weaker than the man but he was easily sent flying by Leo thus no one attempted to stop them.
