108 Chapter 108. Phasing Spider Arts

As a large landscape of the mountain and all the countless beasts appeared inside his head, Leo stood there with a shocked expression as his conscience quickly travelled across to every beast. Suddenly, every beast in the mountain seemed to have changed as they all suddenly grew angry and started exploding with energy, causing Leo's head to shoot in pain causing him to return back to reality with a shocked expression appeared on his face.

What had just happened?

Confused, Leo tried to inject his energy again and the same thing had happened.

"Interesting..." Leo thought as he observed the sceptre carefully as he held it and walked back to Garrick.

"Looks like setting it up will be harder than I thought," he spoke with an embarrassed smile.

"That's fine," Garrick spoke while delivering a reassuring pat on Leo's shoulder.

"How's your training going?" Leo asked curiously.

"Good. There countless resources and energy in this place for me to climb until origin realm stage seven," Garrick replied with a smile.

"Stage seven..." Leo spoke quietly in awe. He did not expect Garrick to be able to grow to such an extent with all the resources here. The background of his ancestors must not be normal at all.

"I'll go and get back to training. See you for dinner!" Garrick spoke as he walked back down the mountain.

Being left alone on the mountain again, Leo's main thoughts once again went towards his arts. Currently, having all his arts were a mess and he wanted to have different arts that he could use and so he went and brought up a table with some empty scrolls and spent that afternoon configuring the arts that he achieved from the Aranea sect.

Feel your movements... Feel the energy flow through your body... Help it flow...

Leo instructed him himself as he executed the moves for some arts.

Shadow Eight Steps!

Leo's body suddenly seemed to blend with the air as his body began moving mysteriously. Suddenly...

Jolt!

Leo's leg suddenly stopped and a smile appeared on his face.

'That's it!' he thought.

Ever since he practised the art, he found out that a vital problem to the art was the fact that it would just not flow and once Leo's steps had reached a certain number, the art would stop and the energy would disperse.

Suddenly receiving enlightenment, Leo's body suddenly stood straight as he stared at the small ground in front of him.

Immediately, Leo's body began moving and the same thing happened but this time, Leo had shifted his foot in a specific way so that his muscles would be in a position where it could flow onto the next step.

Success!

Leo had successfully moved from one side of the ground to the other in an extremely confusing manner but he had taken almost half the time that he took before.

It was an outstanding success.

He had come up with a new art. It was more like an improved version of the Shadow Eight Steps.

Immediately, Leo walked over to the table and began writing this down. "I think I will call this, 'Spider's Quiver.'"

After having that written down, Leo's attention then moved to the other two Spider arts. Actually, it was getting closer to night time, so Leo would only have time to go over one. He decided on the sword slash as it was the one that was most useful for him right now. The destruction fog was not as easy

"Ok. Silent slash now," Leo thought as he now walked over and had a face-off with a rock.

There was no particular issue with this attack, it was only that it contained only one move and that move was a simple slash. If he fought an opponent and did not finish this in one move then they would most likely be prepared so he needed to have extra moves in his arsenal.

And so he tried different types of sword attacks while using the same energy flow.

But as he executed the sword attacks, the energy output seemed to weaken massively as there was clogging of the energy in his pathways.

'This is not going to be easy.' Leo thought as he walked over repeated the moves again.

Success!

Success!

Success!

In the next four hours, he was successfully able to create three more moves from Silent Slash. Each was slashes starting from different stances and positions but each were executed in a specific formation that allowed Leo to be able to follow through with another slash after the first.

"I can't believe it! I have finally done it," Leo happily exclaimed as he raised his head. He had been to indulged into training that the sun was already setting by the time he finished.

Seeing that night was quickly arriving, Leo quickly made his way towards the table and began writing about these new moves that had created. He decided to categorize all these Aranea sect arts into one art book and he called it, "Spider's Arsenal" and it contained six moves altogether.

"I should be going down now," Leo commented as he turned around to leave but just as he was about to.

"Oh wait!" Leo slapped himself in stupidity.

How could I almost forget that?

Leo then pulled out a piece of paper and wrote a note to the king and only then did he walk down the mountain.

And as he made his way down to the main village, he directly walked over to Garrick's cave entrance and found the Nighthawk and passed his note to it and sent it to fly to the king before joining the rest in the village cafeteria for dinner.
