4 City of Mercy

In the City of mercy, two humans are currently wandering on the field. One of them is a carefree man with black hair that hangs over his left eye. He wears a variation of the Fenrir Commander Uniform, modified to have coattails that go past his waist, and left open to reveal the black undershirt he has on. He's Lindow Amamiya, the first unit squad leader. While the excited young girl is Keiko Yoshida, she is a young girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She wears the Fenrir uniform and skirt.

Walking around the area. Lindow stops and faced the Keiko.

"Alright rookie today is your first field ops."

"Aye Aye leader!"

"I like your enthusiasm, but before we start you must remember three rules."

"Don't die. When in danger, run the hell out. And lastly hide."

"Hide?"

"Well not hide but use cover. Stealth wins fight. Wait isn't that four now?"

"Whatever I'll just sum it to one big rule, Survive. Yeah survive, return alive to see another day rookie."

Keiko answered with a nod as she grips her god arc tightly.

"Okay, today's mission is to kill an ogretail. It is a simple slaying mission okay. Don't worry I got your back if anything happens"

"Is that the new type everyone is talking about? "

On top of a building a few meters away from the two. A man is observing them as they made their way to the ogretail.

He is a young man with unkempt white hair and yellow eyes with black sclera. He wears a worn-out Fenrir uniform that has bloodstain here and there.

"It looks like it's her first mission."

The man look at his side and a huge aragami came into his view.

"Sheesh, No matter how much I look at you. Your face still startled me."

The aragami he is looking is a large sized tiger-like aragami that has a jet black body with a human face with a cruel expression. On his back is a cape that seems to be concealing something underneath.

That aragami seems to be dissatisfied at his comment and decided to strike him with a red lightning ball, reducing the man into a burnt flesh. Smelling the burnt flesh the aragami then observed the fight between the ogretail and the girl.

Normally, an aragami like this one would usually engage in combat when they see any god eaters and humans. But not only did this aragami had no intention of fighting but it seems it also possess intelligence as well.

The aragami saw the girl being suprised when the ogretail shot a spike out of it's tail nearly impaling the girl. Seeing this scene the man who was accompanying her laughed and said something to the girl which seems to help her.

While watching the fight, the aragami felt a stinging pain on his front leg and found a blade impaled on him. It looks at the blade before looking at the one who did it.

It was the man that he reduced into nothing, surprisingly the man is an aragami too as his arm was currently a blade instead of an arm. He is visibly showing anger at the aragami as he shove the blade deeper.

"What the hell man!?"

The man shouted then transforms his other arm into a blade and cut the aragami in half.

"Fuck, now where am I gonna find some clothes huh? You just had to destroy it. "

The man vent his anger by repeatedly kicking the dead aragami. Kicking it for how many times, he then realize something as he look at where the two people were. The fight was already over as the two and the ogretail is nowhere to be seen.

"Damn it I didn't see how that girl fight! All because of this stupid aragami!"

He suddenly sighs as he look at the dead aragami and notice the some part of it becoming into a black particles before dissappearing into nothing. The man who saw this sight, transformed his hand into several balck appendages and put together the aragami's body and something bizarre happens. The body of the aragami slowly reattached themselves and the tentacles attached themselves at the body and replaces the missing parts of the aragami that disappeared already.

This continued for a few minutes until the once dead aragami stands back up and glared at the man.

"Not even a thank you you ungrateful bastard."

"... You... insult... me..."

"And you had to kill me. You even destroyed my clothes! "

"... You... not... die"

"That doesn't mean it didn't hurt!"

The man sighs in frustration as he lay down at the ground and stare at the sky.

"I'm bored... "

The aragami who heard his mumbling snorted at him before leaving the man's side.

"Where are you going?"

"... Food..."

The aragami said before jumping off the building.

"Please do it in moderation..."

The man looks at the direction the aragami left. That aragami is hard to deal with as you never know when it will kill him, though he can't die.

"At least it can speak now though not fluently... "

The man looks like a proud father that watched his kid grow up.

"I'll be glad if it calls me Ian though"

The man, Ian muttered under his breath as he slowly drift off to sleep. Thus Ian and the tiger-like aragami continued their life normally without any problems.
