Chapter 21

As I grew closer to the capital, the sounds of metal slamming against each other grew closer, shouts, and screams of people rushing one another rang out.

Landing on a now green branch of a tree I could only describe as a really young kids color mistake in art class, as the leaves of the tree were brown with a wooden look to it.

I crouched down realizing I could see through the trees I sat down, my swaying my legs I released all my aura holding nothing back. Targeting only the capitals soldiers and nobles with my aura, making sure not to harm any civilians.

Silence froze over the soon to be battlefield as any soldiers that were speaking or going to speak instantly swallowed their words. I watched as armor began to clanked together as the knees began to shake, legs gave way, and gallons of liquids flowed free from their pelvis as some collapsed.

Frowning I saw people of all colors, gender, and even race shaking. Yet they wore nothing, even to cover their privates, collars with spikes all around formed around their neck, were tight as if sucking their neck through a straw, weak veins barely pulsed with no life in them as the whips that were just lashing at them no rested at their feet.

Seeing my horrible mistake, I bashed myself for targeting everyone on the battlefield, not thinking that there would be no slaves or innocents. Staring at some of the now lifeless veins I panicked, pointing my open hand at the battlefield I searched my head for knowledge, to save the lives of my mistake.

Knowledge rushed forth and groups as I searched through it all, for mere seconds it took to find the knowledge but for me, in my mind, it took years as I read and read the books and experiences, utilizing them over and over in different scenarios before finally combining them into one.

I called it death trade cultivation, I cultivated it for a year in my mind causing an explosion of strength as I ascended to what seemed like a new level.

Mortals could not use this technique as it's required energy was on a level at which they could not handle not even if they cultivated it for years.

Again something cracked, as I continued to hold out my hand as black whisps began to gather around my hand gathering into something much bigger as it grew to the size of a large ball flicked my index finger.

With great speed it accelerated towards the corpse, rushing to the front were slaves stood dead or not it touched them.

Like a soft kiss, the black mist touched them as they smiled in relief as if they were being massaged as kings and queens, life began to slowly appear back into their eyes as color returned to their skin, some slaves with animal ears began to shine again with a healthy gloss color.

the dead bodies of the poor slaves began to rise as they open their eyes as color returned, some slaves seeing those around them coming back after what seemed to them as the end, cried in relief as they began hugging them.

Family and friends cried and hugged each other as they looked to the forest, knowing that however, it was that helped them, no had saved them was not an enemy but their savior.

Signing in relief I inspected the collar around their neck further, black with white spikes it squeezed around their necks tightly. Thin magic threads whipped about around their neck as it tried to grow tighter, in a fit of rage I huffed causing the collars to break.

They stared in shock as the collars which had ruined their life fell to the dirty ground in the pits that they were digging, tears began to flow as they felt freedom for the first time in ages.

Grinning at the sight I called out to them while only straining the soldiers and any other obstacles that could cause them to not run " COME " I shouted only with a sweet voice almost charming them as they started walking towards my directions leaving the still silent soldiers to stare at them.

Jealousy appeared in their eyes if only for a split second.

The sounds of galloping and footsteps could be heard behind me as the former slaves finally made it to the forest, as some looked up to see me in the oddly color tree " finally ".
