2 chapter 2

Karma grew up with his mother and father he was the only child or so he thought. when Karma was 10 years old his beautiful mother called him into her room once "my child there must something I must tell you about"she patted his small head as she fiddled with his black hair "mom?" he looked at her with cute watery eyes "you might think that you're our only child but no, you are actually a twin" she looked at karma concerned on how he'd take the news but his expression didn't turn sad, he actually looked excited so she smiled and continued "your other half is a girl. at the day of your birth she was kidnapped and we never got to see her ever" a tear escaped her closed eyes and karma whipped it away he smiled and said "don't worry mom I'll bring my half home".

after 2 years karmas parents both died in a car crash leaving him to alone. a 12 year old boy took many job shifts and made enough money for himself to survive. from cleaning restaurant floors to toilets. although he got bullied by his classmates he was determined to keep going in order to keep the promise he made to his mother after another 3 years he finally gave up, he's sister was nowhere to be found. there were no more trails to follow he's final promise was eventually forgotten.One day after knocking off work he was robbed by a bunch of gangsters although he tried to resist one of them stabbed him through his heart.he transmigrated into another world. There was no trace of him left until 6 years later. He had finally returned.

"What's a hero?" Karma proceeded to ask

"Oh my God are you serious? You don't even know what a hero is?"Emily exclaimed in shock. "Nope I don't" Karma by replied expressionlessly . she then put on a smug face"oh well, 5 years ago gates started to open and monsters came out... A portion of humanity were blessed with powers and they could fight against the monster and then it was realized that a small space crack will show appear and if the boss wasn't defeated after ten days they would be allowed to show up as the gate will expand for it's arrival. Apart from that we have tools to check the level of the gate and not risk losing heroes, as I've said before I'm an f rank hero meaning I'm one of the weakest and that there are heroes way stronger than me" Emily smirked and explained.

"Ohh" karma was surprised by this. So many things happened, he didn't really have a family thou so what else could he worry about. Emily showed karma her skill window wanting to flex about her amazing abilities and although she was one of the weakest, she was still multiple times stronger than a normal human.

unfortunately her dreams went down the drain.

"You aren't going to stay in my house" karma commented looking annoyed "please!" She went on her knees. Karma was deeply surprised by this action "why do you want to stay in my house?" He decided to ask .

"Well I have nowhere to live my family got killed by a horrible creature from the gates so I decided to be a hero and used all my savings to buy that house. Only to find out it already had an owner" Emily looked down "so sad for you!" Karma could careless.

"Please sir I'm even willing to be your wife" she held karma's hand jerking it and her cheeks turned red "what the hell!" Karma cringed as he faced the young lady who was looking him straight in the eyes .

"I'll wash your dishes Clean the house and cook for you I'll also spend my earnings with you" Emily's face turned crimson looking like a tomato "uhh chill, look if you want to stay so bad you can stay but I won't be your husband and you don't have to spend your earnings on me, if you did what kind of a man would I be"karma knew that most man would agree to the womans proposal especially because she was crazy cute but he just couldn't care less about those things And it wouldn't hurt to have a cleaner in the house.

"at least your not the kind of scumbag I thought you were " Emily said standing up

"you..." karma grunted

"anyways thank you very much for letting me stay. mister" Emily's opinion changed about karma.

"Just call me karma " karma continued to walk as if nothing happened

"Nice to meet you karma I'm Emily" she smiled and chased after him.

They both arrived at the house with the door broken, It was lying on the floor "I'll fix this tommorow" karma stepped on the door. "so are we gonna sleep with the entrance wide open" Emily stared intensely at karma.

"you got a problem with it, and besides you're a hero so you can protect lil old me" karma smirked and mocked the furious Emily.

"I'll get Right into cooking" Emily said,stormed to to kitchen and wore her apron. Karma went to the bedroom, only to find it filled with women items. To him it didn't matter so he took off his shirt "karma would you like beef stew or just a meal with stake..." Emily barged in and saw karma's mascular back and he turned around and she saw his smooth skin she almost got lost in the 8 pack and muscles "I only eat chicken meat" a voice broke her day dream "oh umm, I'ma just umm make you a chicken stew " Emily's voice was cracking and her face looked red, she ran off to the kitchen. Karma looked at the opened door.

"that was strange"he shook his head took out some of the robes and other clothes from the other world which looked cool.

'mhuh I'll just find a normal job and just live a peaceful life' he thought to himself
