3 Adon Vs. Ania, The Goddess of Sorrow
I make it to the coliseum just as Zeus started talking
"Gods and Goddesses! Today we will finally know who is the best if the best! All participants who are ready to be a representative for our Pantheon, Please get in the arena!"
Several hundred gods and goddesses arrive in the center of the arena and look around at their competitors
I jump in also much to the surprise of several of them, Even Zeus looked at me confusedly, but smiled and continued
"Now! Fight each other, the last 100 standing at the end go into the next round!" Zeus yells and everyone starts attacking each other
I duck a punch from a god that I never met before and quickly jumped back, My instincts definitely got better after being in the forest and training for year's
Even though He was still definitely weaker than the others, but he made up for that with his skill and weaponry
As soon as this had started he had pulled out 2 daggers he bought in the system

Slashing in the nonlethal areas of the god, I went back to scout out the stronger people, these were people who I should stay away from until I have a good idea of their weaknesses and strengths
Suddenly water crashes down onto the arena wiling out several gods and goddesses "I'll be the next Olympian!" A god wearing blue robes said with pride and locked eyes with me
(So he's going for the weaker opponents huh?) This man was Scamander, a god of the river Because of his closeness in power to Poseidon he is very prideful even though he is actually very weak compared to most gods
Getting into a fighting stance I get ready for his attack "So you have decided to participate huh Adonymos?" Scamander said with disdain looking down on me
A large wave of water flows up behind him "I'll make this quick" He says and the water comes crashing down towards me
*Synchronization Complete* Eri's voice sounded in my head but I didn't have time to look at what I got from him yet, I had activated it the second I saw him, and it took 5 minutes to synchronize
Gritting my teeth I decided to take the Hit from the wave of water and then deal a heavy attack on him after
*Crash*
The water crashes down on me and I can feel it trying to make me flow with it, But I wasn't going to be defeated so easily
So focusing on the water I sit it apart surprising Scamander and a few others who had been watching

I knew that if Scamander had actually been trying I would have never been able to split the water away from me
So before he can send another wave at me I lunge at him slashing with my daggers and getting the poison inside his system
Breathing heavily I look around and see another God I don't recognize come near me with a smug smile, He must have thought that since I was weaker right now he could take me
Well unfortunately for him I couldn't go down yet, So I put the daggers back into my inventory and took out my bow and quiver immediately nocking an arrow and shooting toward his chest causing him to fall down
Just as I was going to attack another god who was approaching me Zeus's voice sounds out "There are only 100 people left, Everyone stop fighting and prepare for the next round!" He yelled causing everyone to immediately back down

After eating Ambrosia I was all ready to go, so looking at the bracket I see which god I have to fight in this round
Adonymos Vs.Ania
Looking at the unfamiliar name I couldn't help but sigh thinking Olympus had changed too much in the time I had been gone
So getting myself ready for our battle I go into a private room to psyche myself up

"And Next up!... Adonymos Vs. Ania, Adonymos has surprised all of us with his performance, but can he beat the goddess of sorrow, the biggest buzzkill of all?" Zeus jokes at the end causing a lot of the audience to laugh
I walk out to the middle of the arena and see a woman who would look beautiful if her eyes weren't red and her hair covering her face "Umm hello... good luck I guess" I say awkwardly seeing her intensely studying me
"I need to win to get a better position for my sisters and I... no hard feelings," She says and lunges at me
From what I knew about the Algea, they were three goddesses of wrongdoings, And Ania was of Sorrow, Boredom, and distress, which probably didn't make her too popular at parties
Dodging the claws that she extended toward me I kick her in the stomach causing her to grunt in pain
This was a Ruse however as she jumps up and flows weird dust in my face
"Who are you...What are you?" A voice sound out while I look around in a dark space
Then seeing myself standing above Zeus smiling as I drive a sword through his gut I shudder "This isn't me" I say scared
"It's you... well, it's what you can be, You get the opportunity Gods never have" The same voice from earlier sounds out "Control over your own destiny..."
While listening I determine what's going on, Ania had used a power she had, Probably associated with her distress divinity
What I knew about mental abilities were that once you knew what was happening you could break out rather easily
So Using my will power the illusion shatters, but not before showing me with an evil smile covered in Zeus's blood...

Coming out of the illusion I see Ania's claws in my chest "Even if you broke out, You're still not able to beat poison

I cut the hand that was through my chest off then grab her by the throat " Even if you're stronger than me, that doesn't mean you can beat me" I say before slamming her down into the coliseum floor and cutting off her legs, knowing they will eventually regenerate
"Adon Wins!!" Zeus screamed out happily "Next bracket will be Clytie vs. Athena!" He says and nods at me with a smile as they take away Ania
Staring at him longer than I intended I then turn away (It was just fake... no need to dwell on it...)
