God's Path

Tetsuo Saeki was a legendary shōgi player without equal. Even though he won every single major shōgi tournament since the start of his career as a professional shōgi player, he always felt that his life was lacking something. His career ended as fast as it began, during one of the tournaments the building collapsed, killing Tetsuo and the spectators. It was however only the beginning of his story. As compensation for his unjust, premature death the God decided to allow him to transmigrate to fictional world and choose a legacy of a powerhouse from the God's dimension to aid him in his adventure if Tetsuo agrees to become a part of his game.
