Alice spat coldly, "Misunderstanding? You think I don't know that disgusting personality of yours? And how come you've been looking at me disgustingly the whole time?"

William's expression froze, and without saying a word, he took a stance; the smile he had disappeared entirely; he looked coldly at Alice.

The flickering light of the torches created dancing shadows around Alice, who was focused on her target.

William, who had the class [Magical Warrior], had his eyes glowed with intensity as he prepared for the confrontation.

Alice tightened her grip on her swords, quickly assessing William, though she already had a general idea of his abilities, so she wasn't too worried since it was within her plans.

However, before Alice could move, William waved his hand and launched a fireball at her. Alice moved nimbly, cleaving the attack in half with one of her swords while lunging forward with the other.

William continued to throw fireballs as he retreated, trying to create a smoke screen and attempt to escape. But Alice was relentless in her advance, dodging and parrying each attack as she came closer and closer.

Finally, with a quick twist, Alice disarmed William, taking off one of his arms in the process.

William jumped back with a loud cry of pain, his expression a mixture of pain and fear. He realized that there was no escape.

With quick movements, before William could say anything, Alice, who was already in front of him, quickly decapitated him.

William's head, when separated from his body, spun in the air, leaving a line of crimson blood. After turning around, it fell to the ground, creating a small trail of blood.

"It was a lot more than I thought... I wonder how Kleint is doing right now," Alice muttered to herself, brandishing her two swords and wiping the blood from her eyes.

She knew very well that Kleint had easily understood her intentions; she was very pleased with this as things went much faster than she had intended. But she was still a little worried that Kleint would get hurt badly.

"But most likely he has something in mind..." Alice turned around to support Kleint if something went wrong, which was most likely. Besides, she knows he doesn't have much combat power to take on some of the monsters in this place.

Alice was on her way back since she had finished her objective, which was to finish off William; when she took her tenth step, she heard a sound like something was stepping in a puddle of water.

Without thinking twice, she turned around to find a monster shaped like an adult man, but with the difference that it was grayish-gray. It was on all fours, its back had multiple bones as if it were a porcupine, the same of its elbows and knees, its head was that of a skull but with fragile skin, and its eyes were blood red.
