23 Witch Hunt
In an unknown bar, Silver City.
There were many suspicious people in the bar, some talked to other like it didn't matter and others were drinking silently. But there was one person that took the attention of everyone, although the person was dressing a black vest, covering the whole body, everyone could see that the person was a beautiful woman.
She was sitting there, thinking about something, while glancing around the bar.
'So that is beer?... Why do humans like this type of drink?' Calista thought while seeing everyone enjoying their beer.
"Hello, can i have one beer?" Calista asked to the barman with a smile.
"Of course... here." The barman said to Calista while preparing the beer and handing over to her.
"HaHaHa, this is no place to women! This place is for warriors!" a Random vulgar man said while laughing to Calista while his companions laughed too.
'Oh... is this the famous 'Musclehead'...?' Calista thought while watching the group.
"... Let's make a bet, Musclehead-chan?" Calista said to the Random Man.
"... What bet?..." The man responded angry that he was called Musclehead.
"Let's play a strong-arm contest. The loser will pay for everyone here a beer round." Calista said to the man calmly.
Everyone in the bar cheered.
"... Fine! I swear on my name, Drew, that i will pay for everyone here a beer round if i lose!" The man responded, calming himself while thinking, '... I'm a mercenary! There is no way i will lose!'
Sitting in front of the each other and joining their hands, Calista and the man attracted the bar attention, with everyone watching.
'This will end very fast.' everyone thought.
"1... 2... 3... GO!" The barman yelled, starting the match.
The mercenary man started putting strength on his arm. But seeing no movement, even after putting full strength, the mercenary was beyond surprised.
"... AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!" The man yelled, putting his other hand on top and putting full strength.
'What the...' Everyone thought while standing up.
"... Looks like it's my turn... HaHaHa!" Calista said laughing while using a little of strength on her arm in the direction of her goal.
Seeing the arm slowly moving but not in the direction that he wanted, the man was confused and surprised.
'... This...' Everyone was surprised seeing the contest.
"It's her win!! A beer round on his behalf!!" The barman yelled.
Winning the contest, Calista immediately leaved the bar and entered the room that she rented on a near inn.

The next morning.
Getting up from her bed, Calista started to hear some noises outside her room.
"Is this the Witch room!? If you are lying, i will cut you down myself!" A guard voice sounded outside.
'... HoHo... And here i was thinking that the travel would be boring...' Calista thought smiling while wearing her robe and putting on her mask.
Breaking down the door and seeing the witch standing calmly, the guard yelled while pointing towards her his sword, "You! Don't resist or else i will kill you!".
'Let's do some morning practice... Let's see... Only minimal physical combat and no kills...' Calista thought while walking towards the guard.
"I warned you!" The guard yelled while slashing towards Calista's head.
'... Slow.' Calista thought while evading the sword and punching the guard chin, knocking him out.
'There is more outside.' She thought sensing more soldiers outside the inn.
"Leave the inn and surrender! or else we will end your life here and now!" A guard voice sounded on the inn; It's probably the Captain.
Leaving the inn relaxed, Calista thought, 'There are over 50 soldiers with swords and 80 with bows... child play.'
Seeing the witch leaving the inn, the Captain again yelled, "Put your hands on your head and kneel! Surrender yourself!"
Calista and the soldiers stood there, for only god knows how much.
While Calista and the Captain was staring each other, a archer made a mistake, shooting without orders.
'... Shit.' The captain thought while seeing the witch catching the arrow with one hand and crushing it.
"Archers! Shoot!!! The others prepare yourself to charge!!" The captain yelled.
Seeing the arrows raining down, Calista just stepped forward.
Every arrow missed the target, some passed so near that Calista felt the air on her skin.
Seeing almost 80 arrows missing the target like a miracle, the captain started to sweat.
"Charge!! CHARGE!!!" the captain yelled to the soldiers.
Seeing the soldiers charging, Calista smiled.
'... Left arm 1.20 seconds... Head 2.30 seconds...' Seeing the arriving swords, Calista grabbed the hands and crushed them, making the soldier let the swords go.
Grabbing the swords mid-air and parring and evading new attacks, Calista slashed towards their hands holding the swords.
Parry, Evade, Slash... With every round a new soldier was on the ground crying in pain.
'Shit... Shit... Shit... What is this monster!?' The captain thought while collapsing on the floor, seeing Calista crush his troop.
After finishing with the last soldier, Calista walked to the captain.
"... Take them and leave." Calista said to the captain and walked way.
'What a nice morning practice.' Calista thought smiling while leaving the town and dashing towards the next town, King's City.

In an unknown bar, King's City.
On the bar, there were 3 women wearing a veil and their body shrouded in a robe, sitting silently hearing others people chat.
"... Hey man, have you heard about the 'Smiling Demon'?" A random drunk man asked to another drunk man, immediately catching the trio attention.
"... There is noone that haven't heard about her. A witch in Silver City that easily single-handed the whole city army. Even if the city was weak in military strength, it's still a formidable feat... The church is probably right, only the demons can make someone so strong." the other drunk man responded.
"... Ashes, it looks like there is a interesting witch in Silver City." one of the trio said to the one in the middle.
"... I will go there to investigate when we are finished here." Ashes responded while finishing her beer.
'... Single-handed a army huh... Interesting.' Ashes thought.
