14 Important Matters

"First of all... there is no 'Holy Mountain' after the Impassable Mountain Range, the 'Holy Book' that you found on the Sea Wind Region is a diary -..." Calista explained with a smile but was interrupted by an enraged Cara.

"Don't you dare profane the Holy Book!!" Cara yelled to Calista enraged.

"... Do you want to be choked again?" Calista said with a small frown silencing Cara that strangely blushed.

'WH- Why is she blushing!' Everyone on the room thought at the same time.

"Anyway, the book that you found is a diary of a witch, probably a survivor from Taquila, the last city of the Witch Empire, 400 ago." Calista said explaining to everyone on the room.

"How can we know that what you saying is true?" Scroll said calmly.

"You probably have some witches here that can verify the truth with Agatha here... since she is 400 old and a survivor of Taquila too." Calista said while thinking, 'Nightingale is a good candidate since she have a Lie detection ability but her ability only works on someone that knows that they are lying... so it's not a great candidate here since noone knows if what i said is true...'

"We have a Sister here that can see memories... of course only memories that you want her to see, so... it was considered a useless ability... do you mind?" Wendy said to Agatha.

"... Let's finish this quickly, we are wasting time here." Agatha said to Wendy with a small frown.

"... Scroll, can you call Lyra to come here?" Wendy said to Scroll with a smile.

'Hmm... I don't remember a witch named Lyra in the canon... Looks like she died on the forest with the rest of them... what a waste... and why Cara is staring me while blushing!? Is she a M.!?' Calista thought with a smile but it turned to a small frown when she saw Cara.

Seeing Scroll returning with a timid small child that had blonde hair and green eyes, Calista sighed in relief.

"Lyra, we need your help in something here... If you do a good job here, i will bring to you Leaf's fruits as reward, okay?" Wendy said with a smile to Lyra that was timidly hiding behind Scroll.

"Alright Big sister! I will do it! For the fruits!" Lyra said with an innocent smile.

'What a good child!' Calista thought with a smile.

"Agatha, let some memories of Taquila unlocked so she can prove it and let us continue the chat... after all, just like you said, we are wasting time here." Calista said to Agatha.

"Lyra, use your ability in this Big Sister here, you need to search something about 'Taquila' or 'Witch Empire'." Wendy said to Lyra.

Watching Lyra put her small hands on Agatha's head and start using her ability, everyone was nervous, after all, if what was said was true, the 'Holy Mountain' was merely a dream.

After some time, Lyra put out her hands of Agatha's head and said while running to Wendy, "Big Sister Wendy! there were indeed some memories about a city called Taquila and a Witch Empire! it was beautiful!"

"... Good job, Good job..." Wendy said to Lyra while petting her head but her eyes were panicking.

"..." Everyone turned to Calista with serious faces at the same time.

"Looks like i can finally continue the chat, right?" Calista said with a smirk.

"Just like i said earlier, there was a Witch Empire and a Witch city called Taquila 400 years ago but... what happened to them? Isn't that the question that you want to ask?" Calista said to everyone on the room.

Seeing everyone nodding their head, Calista continued, "If you want to know what happened, you need to understand the situation we are right now, there is something called Battle of Divine Will that happens every 400 years... It's a cycle of war between races, It can have more then one Battle of Divine Will on one cycle but when the last race is standing with the four Legacy Shards joined together, the cycle will end, teleporting the race away and starting another cycle with more races in it. This cycle is between Humans, Demons, Deep Sea Demons and the Underground Civilization... but since the Underground Civilization lost in the first Battle of Divine Will, it means that there are only 3/4 races alive for the next Battle of Divine Will that will happen in more or less 5 years. Do you see the monster frozen there? It's a Demon, not a demoniac beast but a true Demon... You are thinking about the lies of the Church about Witches being Demon's minions, right? It's a lie, the Demons and the Deep Sea Demons are the real enemy."

"Taquila was the last city of humans 400 years ago and it was destroyed on the second Battle of Divine Will, making the survivors, witches or not, escape here, inside the Impassable Mountain Range..." Calista explained but seeing the shocked faces of everyone, she continued but slower.

"About the Church and her lies, you need to first understand why they exist to begin with." Calista said while standing up.

"In Taquila, there many secrets, and one of the top-secrets was the God's Punishment Warriors experiment." Calista said.

"God's Punishment Warriors? Weren't they the most powerful soldiers of the Church?" Scrolls asked to Calista with a small frown.

Calista explained using Flame and Ice Generation to create two mini women in her hands, "... There were three witches Chiefs on Taquila, Natalia that died in the battlefield against the demons when the city fell, This one that i created with fire, Alice, that later founded the Church to create God's Punishment Warriors and this one that i created using ice, Eleanor, that refused Alice's idea."

"... 'Create' God's Punishment Warriors?" Cara asked with a bad premonition.

"... The process to create them requires the sacrifice of a witch... since the God's Stone of Retaliation is dissolved and mixed with the blood of an adult witch..." Calista said.

"FUCK!!" Cara yelled punching the table in the middle of the room while everyone frowned at the quantity of deaths.

"... So, what happened to Eleanor?" Scroll asked while frowning.

"... Eleanor refused to help Alice, making the start of a war against each other... in the end, while Eleanor and Alice survived the battlefield, they died soon after." Calista said.

"Right now, Humanity's Legacy Shard is with the Church... For this purpose i'm here, to propose something." Calista said seeing everyone silent.

"... What is it?" Wendy asked while still distressed about the Church.

"There is a town called Border Town that the Lord is helping the witches, you need to go there and help him take the throne and create a country of equal trust between common people and witches." Calista said to everyone.

"Are you talking about the city that Nightingale scouted?" Wendy asked slightly surprised since the city is very near.

"Indeed, that city." Calista said to Wendy winking.

"I'm going there with proof about the Battle of Divine Will so he not only helps the witches but prepares to the near war." Calista said while tapping the frozen monster.

"... Fine... we will see if he is worth it." Cara said while everyone nodded.

...

"Move your asses! we are changing route! we will stay in a town for some time!" Cara yelled to every witch in the base while organizing the migration.

'In the canon there were only 6-7 witches that survived and it let Roland to advance technology very fast but... what if there were more then forty?' Calista thought with a smile while seeing the backs of the witches leaving the base.
