17 Disciples

The next morning, Roland called Calista to his office to talk about the witches.

"Good Morning Calista... here is a document with their names and abilities, do you have any idea to where to put them?" Roland asked Calista while handing over the document.

Reading the document, Calista started to see many names that didn't exist in the canon but their abilities were all almost the same, like produce heat/cool from the hands but in the end of the document, there was a name and ability that she mistakenly ignored the other day.

'Aqua... while she can't generate water from nothing, she can control it... Maybe if she evolves or in her adulthood day, she will generate it...?' Calista thought while looking again all over the document to see any other ability that she ignored.

"I see... why don't we first divide them in categories? Like Leaf and Flores (Seed Replication) can group together to make food for everyone in the town easily... or like Hummingbird and Mila (Assimilation of Objects) to complete the wall more fast..." Calista said to Roland while returning the document.

"I know... but there is some abilities that i can't think of any job..." Roland said distressed.

"It's okay, witches can evolve their abilities in their adulthood day and/or through more knowledge, you just need to make them study your lectures and they will evolve their ability." Calista responded with a smile.

"Okay... but there is some i think that even with evolved abilities, it won't change much. Like this witch here, Cara, she can create snakes with different abilities but i can't think that it will be different with a evolved ability... or this one, Eva, she can understand all languages but the town doesn't need a translator right now... or the witch that visited me that night, Nightingale... she would be a perfect assassin but i don't need a assassin?" Roland said to Calista with a small frown.

"Oh so it's them... actually i wanted to train them myself so they can become one of the city trump cards." Calista said with a glint in her eyes.

"... Are you saying that you can make them powerful enough to be considered trump cards? I can think it's possible with Nightingale, but Cara and Eva?... Really?" Roland asked with curiosity in his eyes.

"If what i think their ability is, then not only can Cara kill a city on a whim but she can 'heal' it too. While Eva... i actually want to do a spar with the Chief Knight right now in the back garden to demonstrate what Eva's Ability, All-Language, is capable of... Of course i will use only normal people strength and speed while only using her ability. So, can you call Cara, Eva and Nightingale to go there?" Calista said to Roland while smirking.

"... Fine, but i will watch too." Roland said while ordering a guard to tell Cara, Eva and Nightingale to go to the back garden.

'Languages... Languages... Could it be...!?' Roland thought shocked while leaving the office with Calista.

After waiting some minutes in the backyard, Calista, Roland and Carter could see a group of people going in their way... they were not only the trio that Calista called but Wendy, Scroll, ecc... every witch she knew was there, wanting to see what is going on.

"... Alright, we will start soon but i will tell something first... Did Agatha already told to all of you that my original ability is to copy other abilities?" Calista said to everyone.

Seeing everyone nodding, she continued, "I copied Eva Ability, that can understand every 'language' and i will use it in this spar... i will only use normal people strength and speed too. I'm doing this not only to demonstrate to everyone here that every ability is precious but that the abilities can be evolved too."

Seeing everyone with eyes of curiosity and excitement, Calista nodded.

Preparing herself, Calista nodded to Carter that was pointing his sword towards her, beginning the spar.

Seeing Carter dash towards her, Calista started to see every fiber, every muscle in his body, knowing when and where he is putting strength.

'Left...' Calista thought while dodging the slash with minimal movements, as if she knew the future.

'Head...' Calista thought while inclining her body backwards, dodging the slash again with minimal movements.

"What about this!" Carter yelled taking out another sword and using two different directions to slash.

'Head and Stomach...' Calista thought while crouching, easily dodging the slashes.

"Alright, let's stop here." Calista said while stopping the spar.

"... Can you explain what does Eva Ability have to do with anything we just saw...?" Cara suddenly said to Calista.

"... Looks like Roland wants to explain in my place?" Calista said to Roland, seeing him so silent.

*Sigh* "... Eva Ability is to understand every language, it means that as long she thinks something as 'language', she can instantly understand. Calista here used that ability to understand 'Body Language', making possible to know everything the body is doing while he is doing. Looks like she used it to know when and where Carter was putting strength in his muscles, predicting his movements before even himself made it." Roland explained while nodding to himself.

'... What kind of ability is this!?' Everyone thought shocked, since previously they thought it was 'useless'.

"I'm here to take 3 witches that will become the town trump cards in the next months... Cara, Eva and Nightingale, please follow me." Calista said to the trio while leaving the excited group.

'Please! PLEASE! Make that all abilities have this hidden potential!' Mystery Moon prayed to who knows what God in her mind.

Seeing the three witches in front of her, Calista started to smile and said, "Do you want to become my Disciples? I will help you develop power to protect your loved ones and exterminate your enemies... So, do you accept?"

"... Master!" the three said at the same time with their hand on their chest.
