17 Another trouble

Looking out from a window, Frigs, still lazing around in his bed, smiled to himself, "The class are boring, thank goodness that the doctor said that I needed to rest for a month!"

Knock

Suddenly, he heard a knock on his door; he turned around and saw the door of his room, slowly opening. It revealed his teacher, coming in and placing herself on the chair near his bed, "How are you, Edward?"

Frigs smiled, "I'm good, feeling good at least"

The teacher smiled back, "Well… that's fantastic, I want to tell you something though… On my journal, it seems that you fell behind the schedule, so I wanted to take the matters to my own hands and teach you all the things you missed in the class"

Frigs sighed and asked her, "Teacher, what are we learning now?"

She raised one of her eyebrows and was silent for a few moments, "What are we learning? About the importance of good relations with the other generals and appearing like a hero in the eyes of your soldiers, basically about the importance of pride and self-esteem"

Frigs chuckled, "You see, I'm not here to learn the way to speak to those generals with influence, I'm here to learn about the strategy of war. The best way to win a war, a battle, the way to get the trust of all your soldiers, that's what I want to learn here"

She opened her mouth, about to say something, but Frigs continued his words, "Yes, I know what you are going to say. It is indeed quite important to learn how to present yourself as a mighty, strong and brave being amongst others, but I believe if I got the skill…"

"So, Edward, first, there's this 4 virtues you need to learn, bla…" Still, on his bed, Frigs sighed and was speechless.

'I hate this, why are there exams for all the things being taught in the school. What's bothering me, even more, is the fact that this is one of the most important ones! Such a waste of time and capacity of my brain!' He cursed the school.

"Okay, we are finished for today, thanks for listening, Edward" Soon enough, the session of learning unnecessary thing in life has finished. The teacher tidied up the room and left.

Frigs sighed in relief, 'It's finally over… where are Louis, by the way? Isn't it time for physical education to finish?"

Soon enough, the boy entered the room, covered in sweat, and has a nasty smell all around his body, "Louis! You smell so bad1 Go to the shower, now!"

Louis nodded and grabbed his towel as quickly as possible before leaving the room and Frigs, once again, was left alone. Then, there, Frigs started feeling a little tired. He slowly rested his eyes and slept.

"Why is the room so cold? Louis? Louis? Are you there? Can you close the window for me?" Frigs never got a response, he slowly peeked at Louis's bed. It shocked him that the boy was not sleeping there.

Immediately, he got himself up with a little panic on his face and closed the window, then headed back to sleep, 'He probably went to pee or something'

…

"Edward? Edward! Wake up, you fool!" A boy's voice could be heard, waking up Frigs that slowly opened his eyes and rubbed it. Frigs yawned and got himself up in the sitting position and faced the redhead boy.

"Yeah? Who are you? What's the matter? Why are you bothering me on my vaca- resting period?" The boy slapped Frigs's face.

Frigs was shocked. He opened his mouth and took a deep breath, about to release so many rough words at the boy, but the boy cut him off, "You stupid fagg*t, did you not realize that Louis was gone the whole night? The principal found him early in the morning, locked in the bathroom!"

His eyes widen, he grabbed the collar of the boy and shouted at his face, "Then what are you doing here?! Lead me to my assistant, fast!"

Hurriedly, he walked into the principal's office (Jiq) and instantly noticed Frigs, sitting on a couch with a glass of water in his hand and a piece of cloth over his shoulder, "Louis! I'm so worried for you, I thought you went to piss or something"

Frigs chuckled, "It was not a problem, not like it's that cold, I opened the shower to warm me up all night long."

Jiq, the principal said to the red-headed boy, "Clancy, you can leave the room now, I have something to talk with Edward and Louis here"

The boy complied and left the room. Jiq sighed and took off his glasses, "Frigs, I know that you are injured because of a fight, but you didn't even search for Louis when he was gone all night long? I had to pick him up because he sent a signal to me"

Frigs quietly apologize, "I'm sorry, Jiq"

Jiq and Louis chuckled, "Well, it's not like it's a big deal though. In the past, goblins slept on the cold, bare ground like it was their bed! Also, Louis here is one of our best warrior we have amongst the goblins."

Frigs sighed in relief, then Louis said to him, "Frigs, those kids have gotten out of hand, we really need to beat them soon enough. I say we make them do something not allowed in the upcoming final year exam!"

Frigs looked to Louis and nodded, "I mean, yea, we really need to do that. I'll figure up a plan when it started. We just need to be patient and force them to make a mistake and done! For now, let's stay quiet and return to our room"

He turned around, about to open the door, but was stopped by Jiq, "Hey, don't leave yet! I need to lecture you about what happened to Louis so the other teachers won't get suspicious at us!"

Frigs gave an awkward smile while nodding.
