13 Intermission: Untold Story

'Please be safe'. as I said my farewell to Guts only through my mind on that day, I dont know it myself maybe because Im selfish that I dont want my Grandson to Depart, but I dont want my Niece's last wish be in vain, at least this is the first and last time I granted her very wish.
Oh Ruby, Im sure youre laughing at me from heaven, atleast Im sure you wouldn't curse me and our clan, now that I granted your very last wish.
but is this what they really called 'granted'?.
'Sigh' this past few days the lingering and chilly feelings brushes through my very being, I can't let this eerie feeling slide. I then walked at and open the Stone inside my Cabin whose hollow inside and take the 'Book' from there. Ruby said that a certain 'Adventurer' called this stone 'Secret Drawer', she only copy how and made it herself and made it our Drawer, this stone was covered with basic spell called Noise Magic by Ruby, If one can't open it, one didnt know this isnt normal rocks. We can hide our Important Papers and even our Heirlooms inside this stone.
I, one of the Elder and 26th Chieftain of Igarush from where it stablished, Ruby is our Strongest Goblin till late. But not even near on our Ancestors, i think.
This book in my hand, was our Ancestor's 'Story' and 'History', whats inside this book, even my great great grandfather's Elder cannot Decipher this book, much less I, whose 'Stupid'.
Only a Prodigy can fully Decipher this book, my Niece Ruby at the very last of many years of our clan, being Born Genius, but that Genius only uncover 1/8 Secret of this book, the Book of 'Highest Rank for Low Level'
Thats what this Book name according to her, she said I will never ever give it to her son no matter what, why?
I don't know she only said that "acursed Book! this Book can make one become 'Inevitably Stronger' no matter what. Still, my son doesn't need this kind of Evil book to become stronger, mine and my Honey's bloodline is enough", thats what she said when she's still pregnant.

"Chief! There's a problem!" Shouted by scout goblin whose breathing heavily and rush here. That shout woke me up and my conciousness returned
'This is madness! When the Time I decided to burn this book?!' I narrow my eye to these 'Coincident'
I only look at him but, my back is still facing him.
"7 person Adventurers were sighted! I mean 10 person, 3 of them are scouting our area!" He said panickly.
a minute later another goblin scout hurriedly run inside and said
"Report! Guts have been sighted talking to these Adventurer! and is settling the situation!"
'No way! that fast!?' Murmured by our first scout.
I see, if he is 1 day late or even half a day, our clan will surely perished. I nod to our 2 scout.
"Have other elder know it too and call them for meeting to this room! Now Disperse!" I said

"What do you think?" I asks the 3 other Elder from our clan after they sit down. They are my Brother Go'shiyou and 2 Cousins, Go'Muyo and Go'Bumo.
"Hm! Just like you predicted, the calamity is in our neck, But thanks to Guts this time" said by my Brother.
'Its not me but our Hero, Ruby' I scream from my mind.
"Uhm! He really save our butt! But too bad he dont want to greet us or said Hello" Nodded and said by Go'Bumo.
we all Agree and nod. Its almost sunset now but he didnt come, maybe he's still Angry that we banished him just because he 'killed his own mother' and had a 'Horn'. Like that, the atmosphere here become gloomy.
"Alright my dear Cousins! I know we can't pay Guts anymore of what he did to us, so don't feel down, but.." Go'Muyo destroy the gloominess because of this one sentence, but I narrow my eye, Im sure because of
"My dear Grandaughter! My Cousins! I want her to become an adventurer too! Just like our Guts! Im sure our Ancestors and Even our late Prodigy and Niece Ruby were happy to have our clan have 2 offsprings of Adventurer of the same year on top of that!" He's talking Excitedly that he stand up and enjoying his Story like blah blah blah
As I thought.
Go'Muyo's Grandaughter is also a Prodigy maybe genius' than Ruby or Guts but...
"Eidetic, she didnt pass our Exam for 'Eidetic Memory' type Goblin, she can't even fully read! Yes she has knowledge and strength, but.." said by Go'Bumo.
"Stop with bullshit my cousin! Please dont stop her possibility of becoming stronger just with that ceremony she failed! And Because of that 'Exam', that our clan slowly Declining till now!" Shouted by Go'Muyo full of energy without any anger from his heart, this Cousin of mine is one of the 'happy go lucky type of Goblin', and kindhearted, but because his stupidity below mine he didnt become chieftain but still attain an elder position, but when he is serious, its really is very difficult to change his mind.
Yes, there is an Exam from our Ancestors where Only Goblin with 'Perfect Memorization' can become free from shackles called ,Goblin Protector.
Still, my Dear Niece protest the Idea and often still coming here from her Adventure and insist on protecting our Clan.
"I agree to Go'Bumo, but, our Go'Muyo has a point, our clan declined because of such kind of 'Exam', so.. I dont have any objection as an Elder about 'Ririka' Our Grand Niece become 'Second Goblin Adventurer' here" said by my Brother.
Like that, we, 4 Elders debated for this whole night, rather, only my Decision as a Village chief this Elders are waiting.

2 Days after that Night, we received a letter and an Order from 'Adventurers Guild Main Branch' itself, A letter for [Territory Watcher] attached with some Warnings.
hm! Not bad, thought this Land isnt officially our Territory but with this Paper, we at the very least had a legal papers now, and we can live our life beautifully for the time being and safe for Extermination given by those Guild.
Why we read inside it you say? In this world there are called 'Universal Letter', A letter that every knowledgeable creature can learn. Once learned you can atleast understand and communicate to many clans, humans and human-kin, by Reading, Writing and Speaking. This passes to our clans generation after generation. That was why our clan were special compared to any Goblin clan.
Also that same day, my Grand Niece came to my cabin. This 'Book' in my hand isn't burned yet, I still have it in my hands and leave it on this Drawer for now..
"Cheif Grandfather!" Ririka said after she saw my back, I look at her and she flinch after I narrow my eye, no way did she saw it? I thought.
"uhm! then, where's the place you wanted to go? You also want to go at called Kerashval City where you cousin is?" I nod and asks her.
"nope Chief! I will go to west! If its fated Im sure, Me and Elder Brother will meet and we'll conquer Dungeons and Split the towers!" She said while her two hands is on her back and shaking her body side to sids...
This child. She's Unfathomable, I saw it in her very eyes whose deep and full infinite possibilities. She has deep black eye, deep black and short spiky hair, for Goblin perspective she's special, as if she is a human wearing green skin.
Did Go'Muyo's Son is Unfilial? I only thought.
