1 Chapter 1: Adventure! Start

Guts arrived In front of Adventurers Guild Hall, he is being escorted by that guard who calls himself 'Rustin' till its very entrance, 'he really is thoughtful guy' Guts thought.

He didn't know, Rustin only wanted to make sure that this Goblin means no harm or rather, if he could successfully registered as an Adventurer.

Racism has long since abolished, if one is intelligent enough they can apply to such job.

Meanwhile Guts Immediately entered the Hall, but 'Rustin' still at the entrance of the Guild, leaning at the wall and staring at him seriously and curiously.

"What's wrong with that guy" Guts thought and looking back at Rustin's glare, he then shake his head and stand still, looking infront again.

What he saw was people talking and drinking like they were in a tavern, different kind of races in a different tables, laughing and humming.

They're like Bees he thought, they're everywhere he thought.

What he didn't know is that he already caught the attention of the majority. They caught a glimps of his clothed Horn, and saw his green skin, some almost turnd panic stricken--especially novice, some were trembling and gripping their weapon's hilt. But its good he's being escorted here by the friendly Rustin, Who knows what will happen if isn't.

Rustin only observing, but because the sudden change of atmosphere he is ready to mediate at any moment.

But all is well and done well as he sigh heavily of relief. Still, Rustin didn't notice it himself but he's already famous 'Guard' and 'Protector' of this city, so majority of Adventurer continue their business after they saw him escorting and observing this 'horned one'.

"You're really one heck of hard a worker City Guard Captain eh?" says by the newly entered full of silver armored tall guy from top to bottom unto Rustin, small silver rounded shield on his left arm, sheathed short sword on his right arm while gripping its hilth. Three horizontal daggers rested on his back, all of those are even mithrils.

Even the helmet covering his whole head were silver and two protruding curved horn on every side. Even his inner garment, his black chain mail are made by mithril. Meaning, in the eyes of many, either this person is a veteran or a goddamn rich!.

"Nah, don't worry about me being here, go, do what you have to do, Ill leave anytime now anyway." replied by Rustin whose arm are now acrossed while still leaning at the wall and still observing the goblin, Guts.

"He he, I, again will solo hunting those stupid Kobold's habitat for good! Easy hunting, easy money!" Said by the shiny adventurerr with grin, at the same time slowly ascending to the nearest ladder with confidence.

"Cheh! Kobold Slayer bastard!" Snorted by Rustin, and after noticing Guts entering throught the backdoor along with Receptionist Mei Ru, he Immediately turn back and walk outside of the Guild Hall.

Guts arrived infront of the Receptionist

"Can I register as an Adventurer? the name is Guts" he respectfully said.

"Hai Hai~!, I'm Mei Ru! Your Receptionist, welcome to our Adventurers Guild!" The Curly brown Haired girl said smiling then bow at him. Immediately, she reach a piece of parchment and a needle and Immediately said.

"May you please drop your blood anywhere on this paper? it is called 'Adventurer Pact' as all of your 'Status' alone will be projected here, each and every Adventurer can only receive one, then you can use this needle and snitch your index finger and drop here... can I also ask how old are you Mister?" she still smilingly ask but contrarily, afraid. Looking at Guts green colored skin, small freckles and protruding horn made her shiver. But alas, this is her work.

"12" immediately, Guts answered quietly.

"eh?" She's bewildered, but continue talking

"12 yrs old? you are Minor in Human perspective, but that's not a problem here! because anyone who wants to become an Adventurers are welcome, are you sure?" she seriously said and somehow, her fear is steadily fading away.

"uhhh, ye-yeah?" though im only 12 day old. Guts thought.

"oh okay, done!" as she finished writing another set of parchment after asking Guts more about, what, when and where thing.

"Im also done here" as Guts emerald green blood already drop to an 'Adventurer Pact', Mei Ru was taken aback, but then she called another receptionist.

"Jiya, If you may" Mei Ru said smiling to Jiya, a girl with Deep black hair and pale skin. A half-breed vampire.

"yes yes~ Ill handle it for you" Jiya replied without a second thought, as if this kind of thing is very usual. She swapped place with Mei Ru.

"Come sir Guts Ill be briefing other Adventurers know-how-to and know-what-to-do rules" Mei Ru said, then open the door at the side of the reception desk as Guts followed suit.

As they sat down on the sofa, Mei Ru Immediately said

"Sir Guts this is your 'Adventurer Sign', others called it Stat Card or Status Card, the Paper will drastically changed after some dropped of blood from ones 'Index' finger". Thereafter, Mei Ru reached it out to him, but not like the last time kind paper, this is more like a 'laminated ID'. And during ehich, he saw his Stat(Status).

"your stats are not simple sir Guts, when comparing your stat to an average level-1 adventurer you are way too strong, it seems you already faught a monster based on your stat" Mei Ru said in surprise while looking at his tattered clothes

"Also your Skill is '{ }' which is empty for now, but you can purchase a skill book, there are many kind of Bookshelves here at Kerashval, Ill accompany you to one of them later" she explained.

"And as you can see, Status is in a form of letter there but it also can converted to Numbers, it didn't indicate the specific numbers for some reason, also the Status rankings are from F to SSS+, F is the Lowest and SSS+ is the Highest, also when you up to level-2, your Status as level-1 is fixed as it is, and it didn't even Upgrade at all, but you will be even more stronger when you level up to 2." she then reached a couple of papers.

Ex. once one Mana was Drained to bottom, it might cause ones Death but with higher 'Wis', it can only left ones Unconscious till 30 days.

INT (the higher the Int, the Higher the Damage output, one can also learn Higher Tier 'Spell').

"Wait, Spell? not Skill?, useful for Production class?," Guts asks, Mei Ru at the same time almost panic. His raucous voice is intimidating.

"uhm, Im sorry, for further questions about that, and anymore concern please asks our Guild Master, because your question is beyond your level" Mei Ru helplessly bow.

Guts only blink for a few moment and start to change the page.

Status Range - [1-10(F), 11-20(E), 21-30(D), 31-40(C), 41-50(B), 51-60(A) 61-70(S), 71-80(SS), 81-90(SSS), 91-100(SSS+)]

Stat increase - After Every battle, stat can accumulate, stronger stat will accumulate if you can kill an overpowered enemy.

Note: you will still level up even if you have an (F) rank range though, meaning you've might become weaker if this keeps up.

Leveling Up Condition: Random, Higher Leveled Monster Kills (or meeting a certain requirement).

Leveling Up Location: There are called [Sand of Hourglass] in every main city

"That number conversion showcases your current Rank. Like what I said the last time, from lowest to highest was 1 and 100 or F to SSS+, and you can purchase that kind of Status to me for 1 Gold" Mei Ru.

"Here" he give 1 Gold.

"uh?" Mei Ru surprise.

"Please give me your Card" after which, she Immediately mumured to the 'Status Card' after Guts gave it to her, it then illuminated.

"Done" she then return the Status Card.

"So far, and for now I wont give you a Headache, After you level up, like I said the last time, you can ask my superior about it, okay?" Mei Ru said so and started the discussion

"There are so many things that an Adventurer needs to learn, not only provided by an Adventurer Guilds, but also by Interacting to other Adventurers, so one needs to be friendly. Like that, one can gather more information.. okay?" Mei Ru explained and form a peace sign. Then she briefed him other useful and even almost useless information, like laws such as 'Adventurers Article', whats the highest level of an adventurer, and the like. She even insert her favorite dish in the middle though.

"by the way you can read all of that in a Hallway, but let me remind you dont show your Status to others okay? thats adventurers biggest secret, giving that is the same as giving them your own weakness" Mei Ru said while wiggling her index finger near at the very face of Guts

"Im done reading all of it, also your Mission and Vision, it says that....."

Guts is saying but Mei Ru hastily cover his mouth

"wha-? theres no need, really! as long as you can read, thats enough!" she said frantically, making Guts confused

"and Congratulations on becoming an Adventurer!" she bowed, and thats the end of their conversation or so we thought.

"lets go to bookshelf then" she said happily

"Uhm okay?" Guts nod.

After all, she promised to accompany him.
