8 Chap 8: My Goal? First step to become the strongest
When Aotsuki Akiko was being asked if she knew who was truly Aki, she never imagined that the person will question her because "I don't who I am". Clearly, she wasn't prepared for that kind of reply.
"You...you don't remember who you are?" asked Akiko to be sure she didn't misheard but the answer left no doubt again {Yes, I don't remember. Well not clearly. I just know that I had or have children and I think that I live for a very long time}.
"But how did Aki-sama lost her memory?" was what Akiko wanted to ask, but she didn't dare to. And also, there was a big chance that she didn't know herself. Asking will just be a way to bring trouble upon herself. But nevertheless, she still curious of how a goddess could lost her memory, and not any random goddess, but the creator of Magic and Universe! That information, plus the fact that she contract with a supreme being was a mindblow to powerful for Akiko. Above all, there was many record that said the Godess of magic was dead or retired from the world.
{Hey little! Stop daydreaming and tell me who I am} said Aki annoyed. "So...sorry.." Said Akiko with a pitiful voice. {I don't need you to apologise. Beside, a great master don't apologise to his subordinate! Geez... And you want to rule over the demons with that kind of attitude? Raise your head damnit!} upbraided Aki. Akiko know understand why they were a saying that the Godess of magic died a long time ago or left with the other gods. It turns out that she fought something so strong that she had to sacrificed herself to save the world. Akiko understanding that start to worship more than before her goddess. "I'm sorry... Snif.. Snif.. If you didn't have to save everybody, your soul wouldn't be in that state"
{Say what? We met before?!?} Aki said amazed and upset. Saving the twice, and the first time she almost died because of her was what she was thinking.
But she was just mistaken, and Akiko started to explain to her that she certainly the former Godess of birth and Magic and she was the one who created the universe who himself created live beings. And then she told her that a millennium after the creation of the world all Gods disappeared like that, so many believed that they were sick of this world and went to create an other one. And others said that they just retired to let people lead themselves, but nobody have any proof of their saying and honestly, nobody really knows what happened and why they disappeared but there is one thing that everybody agrees on, the mother of the who was knows as having as body half the size of the universe had disappear before everyone else and the people just found out one day after.
{What?? So this isn't my real size? And how the fuck can they not notice a body that big? Where they idiot?} stated Aki while palm face herself in her mind. {And are you sure I'm that person? Because I pretty much sure that I'm a guy}. "but you have a beautiful girly voice" couldn't help to say Akiko.
{And it's on that basis that you assumed that I'm a Godess?} Aki felt that she started to understand why Gods left. People of this world are just dumb. And she probably contract with the most idiot of all. And just to prove she's right, Akiko apologies...again.
{Just think, is there not a way to found out I am?} asked out desperation.
"Well...now that you became my familiar I think the simple way is that I look to your status. If it's okay with you, if not, do like I didn't say a thing please" the little demon said while pleading at the end.
{Status? I know that name, but I don't remember what it is} said Aki plainly and so Akiko had to explain to her "But normally people can't see their status or the status of the other. For that they must have the <APPRAISAL> skill" she finished saying.

{So, do that thaid what I am? Hey, answer!} Aki started to press Akiko, seeing that she wasn't responding for a while, but no matter, Akiko still didn't answer her question. She was still reading what she was sawing, and the more she read, the more lifeless she become. And with reason.
It was the first time in her life she saw that many skills AND unique Skills. She knew that it was ONLY Aki become her familiar that she could see a part of her Skills. Otherwise, even with specials eyes, she wouldn't even be able to know her species. And now even if someone can took some proof that she wasn't the former godess, she would never believe that person. Only a goddess could have so many skills and be able to have a titles sealed.
The reason was simple, normally no matter what you do, when a title appeared it can't be sealed because it represent your potential and abilities. Because somehow the person did an incredible things unrealizable again without very good luck, he got a title so he can do it again. Or because other see that person in another way, he got a title. And even if you aged, the title can't go away unless it's a god title and your not one. And even then it's seems impossible to be sealed.
Akiko was so in daze this time, that it took her more than one hour for her to wake up, and even then she was still a little unfocused. But she informed Aki that she was truly the former Godess of Magic but that she didn't even have 1% of her soul and when Aki was informed she just replied {Well I'm alive and kicking. It's more important. By the way you still didn't introduce yourself little demon}
"I'm sorry Aki-sama... I mean sor... Heum... My name is Aotsuki Akiko, and I'm a low class demon. Until two years ago I used to live with my mom in the lower district of Mahel City. But because she was kidnapped and I didn't have enough money to pay the taxes in the city, I had to run away to not become a slave. That's how I got here" She explained timidly.
{Very well, and now what? You can't return there I supposed because even if you have the money, you killed someone and you are to weak} listening to Aki, she lowered her head because she knew she was right. But she could do about it? Grow stronger was the only solution, but how can she do it?
She stare at her sword a moment before saying with a resolute face "I want to become strong please" {Hah? What are you talking about? Of course you will become stronger. Otherwise, how will you continue to be my master? And now that we're talking about it, why do you want to be an empress?}
Akiko immediately replied with grief "Because my mother was abduct by an emperor to become her servant, and he said to me that if I ever want her to be back, I had to become one myself. If I didn't in the forest that day, and found that portail, my mother would have never crossed it... It's... Snif... It's... All my fault" she finished in tears.
Because Aki never dealt with that kind of situation in her memories, she just stay silent and wait for Akiko to recompose herself. That say, she still say {From now on little demon, after you cry properly today you have the duty to never shed any tears again. It will be contemptible for the future demon's Empress} Akiko just nodded as she was crying all her soul.
As the sunset was coming, a you'd teenage girl with a tired face was walking in a dense forest for three hours now without any rest. She had two little black horn on each side of her head. But they were so tiny, that they able to blend with her massive and messy smooth black hairs. Her her skin already pale normally was even more due to exhaustion. And with loligoth dress damage, she was like the survivor from a natural disaster. But even even exhausted, and on verge of fainted, her face keept determined. She was Akiko Aotsuki.
