Chapter 3

Stevan climbed over the roof and looked down the chimney 'he has this habit of cclimbingthe roof before entering the house'

Woof! Woof! dog barks could be heard echoing from the chimney, startled Stevan backed down "Whait? since when did we have dogs? " Stevan murmured

"Dogs?" I replied 'Is someone inside the house?' I cautiously walk to the front of the house behind a tree and see the front door open with a man holding our family photo pointing to me and Stevan holding shirts towards the 5 large dogs sniffing at it almost seaming like beasts, 2 black vans over the flower bed and a white truck in the side, some men where holding rifles and others where holding machetes they where all murmuring to each other as the saw the photo.

'RUN! Are these thugs? RUN! if so why are they here?, RUN!, RUN!' my mind was going down, I should leave with Stevan fast before they find us, but then my legs felt like jelly, I took a stepped back then, Crack! a twig had snappped. Another monstrous dog jumped from the white truck and started to walk to my direction.

I hid behind the tree 'Oh, My I am Now Screwed', I start to hold my breath as I close my eyes feeling each step it took towards me. when it was feet away from the tree it suddenly turned around and dashed to another direction, apparently Stevan noticed from the top of the roof and trew a rock in another way. I looked up and he was signaling to the woods then dissapeared as I nooded. I quietly walk towards the woods finding Stevan taking out daggers out of a pile of leaves and placing then on his backpack. "Who are they?" Stevan passes a dagger to me

"I dont know, they are looking for us" I place the dagger in my pocket

"Us? like you and me? or mother and dad too?"

"I think you and me...."

"We have to find mother" we both say in union

Stevan and I start to walk more inside the woods when multiple monstrously dogs barks where heard "I FOUND THEM! THEY ARE HERE!" the man was waving his rifle in the air

"Run!" I took Stevan's backpack placed it on and pulled Stevans hand.
