1 What would you do for glory?

*In luthandor*

A man in full plate armor stained red with blood watched his comrades get slaughtered as he shut the door and activated the seal, he could barely stand, he could hear the screams of his friends being engulfed by the fire.

"I need to warn them," He said, his voice shaking violently As he forced his hand to a pedestal and placed a note on it.

"Send to Grandmaster Shu!" He shouted with all of his energy, the message floated and disappeared, after he made sure the message was gone he turned around to see the door he had sealed break open.

The guard quickly put up his sword but was blinded by a flash of light and couldn't see, he was blasted and bound to a wall and struggled to move

"I love to see them squirm" A young voice chuckled "Now before I put you out of your misery tell me who did you send that message to?" The green hooded teenager held a dagger to the guard's face and pulled it across his cheek leaving a deep gash

"Go to hell! I'll never tell you" The guard said though gritting his teeth to hide the pain

The teen put his hand on the face of the guard, he cast a fire spell, causing the mans skin to bubble "I wanted that answer.." His lips curled into a smile "It means that I can play with you for a while" The guard began to scream in agony

On the peak of a mountain sits a temple. Next to that temple, two boys stood parallel to each other, letting the mountain winds hit their bodies and hair.

*THUD* Tanda Shen hit the muddy ground. *Cough* Shen was put on his hands and knees by that throw, mud covering his black hair, ruining his clothes

Another boy stood over Shen in a taunting manner, cracking his fingers and neck.

"That's what you're gonna get, if I ever see you talking to her again, I'll kill you!"

Shen then gritted his teeth, As he painstakingly lifted himself off the ground, his green eyes beaming rage at Runza while his hands dusted his clothing off.

"At least the temple trains me because they want to, unlike someone whose parents paid for him to be here," Shen said.

"They left me so that I may become a great fighter and be remembered for my prowess. like a true luthandor noble."

"You, however, will be forgotten due to your weak disposition, no power will ever come your way," Runza replied sharply. "You are a poison."

"My weak disposition huh?" Shen laughed with a hint of contempt.

"In that case, why does your sister decide to come to my window every night?" Shen said mockingly.

Runza had had enough! 'How dare this powerless piece of trash treat me as such a minor threat.' Runzas face now reddened with rage. He cocked back his arm to land a titanic blow.

Shen braced himself, putting his hands in the air crossed in front of himself to try and absorb the blow that he knew his weak body couldn't take.

However, it never came. He looked at Runza stop and his face turned pale.

Suddenly, a voice rang out from behind Shen. "It is prohibited to fight on temple grounds."

Shen turned briskly to see Shu Ken; the grandmaster of the temple standing behind him.

Shu's eyes were as blue as the water of the Pacific, and his body looked like that of someone much younger. Both boys bowed and apologized immediately. Shen acted quicker, however, and told the grandmaster his version of the story.

"I am a well-behaved disciple, and Runza has been picking on me, a poor, weak orphan," Shen said through fake yet realistic sobbing.

The grandmaster looked at Runza with burning eyes.

A Shiver went up Runza's spine, as cold sweat ran down his forehead. Only one thought seemed to appear within Runza's mind. 'This j*ckass of an actor. He is just as much to blame for our problem.'

Shu began to speak with his voice filled with strict authority and frustration, "How dare you pick on a weaker disciple within my temple!"

Runza began to stutter, feeling the weight of the grandmaster's gaze as if being run over by seventy-six carriages, "Bu-bu-but he..."

"ENOUGH!" Shu proclaimed sharply, his voice cutting through the air.

"I need no excuses. Runza, you are to go to the training grounds right away. You shall do seventy-six laps of the perimeter since you have enough energy to bully those weaker than you."

Shen smirked while still holding his hands to his teary eyes. This is the best acting he had done in a while. A sly chuckle escaped his lip like the hiss of a snake.

Runza was stunned 'is this grandmaster so blind as to assume I started this! I hope Shen falls into a hold and dies!'.

Runza left in a huff.

Shen silently celebrated internally, but his happiness was cut short. He got hit on the back of the head by a strong slap, which made his teeth chatter.

"He's gone, stop acting like an idiot," Shu said, rolling his eyes, completely seeing through those crocodile tears he had used before.

Shen stood silently rubbing his head.

Shen didn't even see him move or get behind him for that matter. But that's to be expected when someone is grandmaster class.

"He was bullying me!" Shen turned around and pointed at his chest.

"Yes, I also heard what you said, which escalated the situation and caused me to have to step in," Shu said while giving Shen a look filled with a condescending attitude.

Shen sat silently. The grandmaster's words weighed down on him like a truck. He knew he was caught and could do nothing more about it. Shu looked over at him and took pity on the boy. He released a deep sigh.

"Hahhhh, Fine, come with me. I got something to show you."

Shu walked into the temple. Shen closely followed behind, curiously. After a few minutes, they arrived at the grandmaster's room.

"Sit," Shu said, pointing at the brown pillow and going into a corner of the room, pulling a plank from the floor and grabbing something from it.

Shen took a seat, and Grandmaster Shu sat across from him with a box made from a very elegant and expensive wood, with the engraving of a dragon on it.

He placed it in front of Shen and said, "Open it."

Shen quickly opened the box and what he found Inside were two daggers; Blood-red in color that seemed to glow in the light. He was happy just to look at the magnificent blades.

"Where did you get these?" Shen was awestruck by the craftsmanship of the blades. They had two dragons with ruby eyes on the hilt, as well as slightly curved blades that seemed to bend light.

"A wandering trader from Luthandor was passing by, and I saw his wares. I decided to buy them. It all cost me a pretty penny, I might add," Shu said looking at the boy jump with joy at the sight of the blades.

"They are called the crimson dragons. Do you like them?"

"THESE ARE AWESOME!" Shen said loudly.

"Then they are yours," Shu said while nodding his head.

"Really?" Shen said with a giant smile on his face.

"Yes, on one condition," Shu held his finger in the air.

"What is it? I'll do anything." Shen felt a rush of adrenaline at the thought of gaining the daggers.

"Anything huh?"
