Chapter 0.1 | The Introduction

"Alright!" A Young Boy Exclaimed, waving his hand behind him and heading out the front door. "I'm heading out!"

He ran through fields with a smile on his face. His eyes were filled with adventure and excitement as he clenched onto the straps of his backpack. He sprinted through forests and rivers not coming to a stop, as he was filled with intense energy and adrenaline, not stopping to catch air.

The Birds chirps echoed through the forest, and the insects buzzed. Despite the scrapes and scratches, the boy had on his legs from going through bushes and tall grass, he still didn't stop.

He finally made it through the next forest and sprinted through a large farming field that belonged to a farmer. The farmer brushed the sweat off his eyebrows seeing the boy passing by. The farmer recognized the boy and gave a warm smile and waved. The boy waved back but continued running past the farm and fields.

"How persistent!" The farmer laughed.

Finally, the boy came to a halt, gasping for air, and leaned down with his hands on his knees. He took a bottle of water out of his big leather backpack and chugged it down. Then, he continued to continue on his adventure, this time, walking. He gazed at the beauty of nature, and all of the insects and animals passing by.

Finally, after hours of walking and running. The Sunset came down over the mountains, and he was approaching a large building in the far distance. The boy gave out a big smile with excitement and his eyes shimmered with hope. He continued running towards the large structure in the distance.

He approached the structure, and it was a tall colosseum-type building, except the outer structure was a giant wall wrapping around a district that was inside. It was the prime district. A district is known for holding a shopping town inside, a wild area for civilians to make homes, and a Hub holding events and registration.

The boy's eyes widened with excitement greater than before. He grinned and sprinted inside the entrance of the great structure.

But this wasn't his story. Neither was it his adventure. This is a world that's filled with violence and murder. Caused by creatures known as demons from the underworld. This is the story of a young swordsman who suffered through pain and hardships, just to bring salvation to an ever-ending war between Humans and Demons.

Another young man approached the entrance of the district. His body was covered in bruises and scrapes. His legs trembled to continue walking, but he still did. Gazing upon the tall structure, attempting to find shelter in the district.

This young man's name was Steven, Steven Valk. A swordsman who wielded the sword was named Valkyrie. This sword granted him the unnatural ability of extreme speed.

The swordsman was looking for his older brother for days. Barely eating food or resting, fending for himself. Steven was born into a family far away. But His mom was killed by demons at a young age, and his father was a retired swordsman who lived his life as a scientist and died of his invention in front of Steven's eyes. Leaving him his sword, which was Valkyrie.

Steven gave a faint smile, and stumbled towards the entrance, finally entering inside.

This was the start of an extremely long painful story that would only unravel truths and pains.
