7 Chapter 7: Aftermath

(As the sun sets on the wrecked island, the remaining army sets sail back home)

Mario: Well, that was unexpected.

(Zel then tries to go to Lo, trying to embrace him, but she too passes out)

Lo: It's ok. I'm still here.

SMG4: I can't believe she turned to this. This made me a new idea...

(Nighttime falls on the sea, Lo was busy staying on her side, when SMG4 came in)

SMG4: You ok with that injury?

Lo: Not much. It's hard to play when you're amputated. I can't barely complete a level one-handed.

SMG4: Don't worry. He's here & he's ready for your new look.

~Lab Area of the boat~

E.Gadd: Thanks for the footage of the war, Bob.

Bob: No worries, this is in exchange for anime-con tickets, right?

E.Gadd: I never break that promise. (he then surveys the footage until he spots something sus) Wait a minute...

Bob: Oh, this. That happened after we came in. Can't tell how destructive can he possibly get.

(The scientist then zooms into Lo's eyes, only to find a familiar star pattern on them)

E.Gadd: oh no...

SMG4: (breaks through the door) Hey there, professor. (Upon notice, he closes the footage) Wait, what are you watching?

(E.Gadd tries to find a perfect excuse but)

Bob: ummm... porn?

SMG4: Oh, very reasonable.

(Shortly after, Lo's operation on his new arm is about to begin)

SMG4: Ok Lo, i'm gonna gas you since it's a lengthy procedure. Now count to 3.

Lo: Ok, 3- (proceeds falling asleep because he wants to)

SMG4: Oh. Now let's begin.

E.Gadd's inside mind: Should i tell them about the new discovery? No, it be too soon. Ok, just until the thing's over, i'll tell them.

Bob: Yo SMG4, where should i put again?

~Anime Island~

(Among the rubble laid, an arm stretches out from the debris, begging for help. There, Francis then gets pulled out, all frail & weak from the blood drained)

Francis: Thanks man, i thought i'd-

(Suddenly, he's shocked as the one helping him is Purple Guy. With the dark grin on his face, he's ready to unleash the final blow. A scream then echoes as the battle's finally over)

(Meanwhile, Mario arrives to Desti's final resting place. With a bag of melons at hand, it's unsure what he think's is right.)

~June 9, Mushroom Kingdom Beach~

Lo: (wakes up after a short few days) Oh boy, what a night. (notices his new arm, on which it greats him upon activation) Nice.

(he then surveys on his phone, on which a few messages had he checked. He liked on Zel's new dress [which resembles a certain 2017 princess'], pay amends to Meggy's loss, & even chatted with Mario for a while. Then, it came)

Zel: (to Lo) So, how do i look?

Lo: To be honest, i think you look cute regardless on what outfit you're wearing.

Zel: (blushes) thanks...

Mario: After the funeral, there's something i'd give you, Lo.

Lo: Boy, i wait.

(Later, as the gang left for the real after-party, Mario gave Lo a suitcase. It felt cold to the touch, & there some suspicion laid.)

Mario: This is for you.

(On the tab it reads "Bring it back, pls")

Lo: Mario...

Mario: See you at the party, man. (leaves to catch up with the gang)

(Little did she knew that in the suitcase, actually laid Desti's body. Mario had put her in just so he trusted Lo to bring her back. Not only for his sake, but Meggy's)

Zel: He sure is something, right?

Lo: Yes, he sure did.

(But, as he looked onto her, he saw a ghostly figure of a man & woman, overlooking on him)

Zel: Lo, what's wrong?

Lo: Nothing, let's go.

(As the roommates finally left the beach, the ghosts then smiled)

Ghost 1: That's our little girl.

Ghost 2: Yes it is.

Ghost Desti: Hey, where did everyone go?
