1 One Mistake, One Glitch

"No!", Gabby screeched. "Let go of me you bastard!"

Going to her first party of sophomore year in her new school, she never intended to do anything out of the ordinary. She knew one person there, her math classmate, Jacob. She stood by his side through the night. Sure she didn't know him well but atleast she knew him. It was within a few moments that her social anxiety sunk in, and luckily Jacob noticed. "Lemme go get some drinks for us, then we can go outside where there's not many people", he said before walking away. Gabby was relieved, yet skeptical. No man can be this kind without wanting something. What does Jacob want? Homework answers? A date?... Or is it something more? Does he crave what all the other men in her life had? "Gabby? You okay?". He was back. Gabby nodded, feeling relieved that he was by her side once more. Maybe there is something off about him, but it could be in her head. Plus, it's a party. There's atleast a hundred people here right now, if anything were to happen, one scream and she'd be safe.

She was wrong.

They sat on the bench swing in the front of the house. Turns out, Jacob wasn't getting a soda or water, but beer. No surprise there, but Gabby didn't want to drink any alcohol that night.... yet she was to scared to turn it down. Anytime she refused anything in her life, something bad always happened. She had learned from her mistakes. She sipped the beer as they had a casual conversation. The night was a little musty, and Jacob was right, not many people were outside. Not many at all. Actually, Gabby realized they were the only ones out there. Odd...

About 30 minutes into the awkwardly-growing conversation, Gabby started to feel a little dizzy. Maybe she drank to much. It could be dehydration. "I'm just going to go inside and get some water" she whispered, feel more light headed and dizzy by the second. "You sure about that?" Jacob replied. But it wasn't his kind voice. It was more gruff... more forceful like her father's was that one... that one... traumatizing day. She started to panic. "No" Gabby whispered. She felt like she was about to pass out as she stood quickly. "Just one foot in front of the other" Gabby thought to herself, trying to get away. She knew what was about to happen, she had to escape. But she couldn't... her legs felt heavy. Like steal, holding her body down. "No!" she whimpered. "Not again. No!". Black. It all went black.

Gabby heard a grunt. Then another. She was still outside, as she felt the musty air and heard the crickets chirping. Gabby didn't know where she was or understood what happened. She tried to move but winced in pain. "Oh so your awake ... wanted to feel the pleasure for yourself too the. huh?" she heard Jacobs voice. Then realization flooded down upon her again. He wasn't her safe spot. HE is the danger. Not the large group of people in the house that bring anxiety with their obnoxiousness, but him. Her math classmate. He was carrying her, to what? Gabby didn't know. "y'know, I heard you weren't straight... The new cute girl denied any boy... let's see about that. Maybe I'll change your mind. With or without consent". Gabby saw his eyes. They were smoking along with this mouth. The smirk alone made her want to kill him. He deserves to- "NO! LET GO OF ME" Gabby began to scream and kick. "S-stop that! No one can hear you! Stop this wiggling!" She didn't stop. He smacked her. Hard. She felt warm licked leak from her scalp. Then she smelt the penny like smell. She was bleeding. "This spot will have to do", Jacob grunted as he set her down on a forests floor. Gabby remembered people saying the house was a great spot to party because the woods in the back. They gave shelter to the kids who wanted to be alone for their business. Gabby felt disappointed in herself for thinking this party will bring her friends. It'll just bring her pain...
