4 Chapter 4: Walk To School
Justin opens the guest room door
"Chris, I forgot to ask bu-" Justin sees Chris asleep... "Maybe it'll be fine hopefully his parents don't file a lost child" Justin walks out of his room going to his own room
(The next morning comes)
"Jesus, That was the best sleep I've had in days" Chris says yawning
Justin is cooking eggs and toast for breakfast in the morning before school while Ken is setting the table
Chris walks downstairs yawning with just pants and a tank top on
"Ah, Good morning Chris!" Justin says finishing breakfast and putting the meal on three plates
"Good morning, Mr Myers, Ken" Chris says sitting at the table
"Oh, Sorry for my manners I am in your house..." Chris jumps up and bows
"Mind it none! Make yourself comfortable! Sleep well?" Justin replies
"Ah, Okay your house your rules" Chris says eating his share
"Uh- Chris, Do you mind if I eat with you at lunch..." Ken ask's nervously
"Sure... I wouldn't mind." Chris replies
"Uh, Can we walk to school together today too?" Ken replies back
"I mean we are going the same way." Chris says finishing his meal
"Uh- is tha-" Ken says before being interrupted
"Yes, its a yes." Chris interrupts
"Great!" Ken says excitingly
Ken and Chris get up and start getting ready for school, As they both are about to head out the door
"Hey Chris!" Justin says
"Yeah?" Chris replies
"If you ever need help or a place to crash, just come here" Justin says joyfully
"Hah, Thanks..." Chris says as he and Ken walk out the door
On the way to school Chris and Ken have conversations about school and other things, As they reach the gates Chris sees Zach and Lily running to them
"CHRIS! ARE YOU ALRIGHT!! YOU DIDN'T COME HOME LAST NIGHT" Lily yells in a worried manner
"YEAH ARE YOU FINE? ARE YOU INJURED OR ANYTHING?" Zach also yells worriedly
"I'm standing here aren't I? I crashed at a friends house." Chris replies
Ken looks shocked, and starts crying
The three of them look at him
"Uhh, Are you okay? Do you need to go to the nurse?" Chris ask's
"Y-Y-Y-Yeah... I-I'm fine! Its just... Its just... I finally have a friend..." Ken replies still crying tears of joy
"Was he the friend whose house you crashed at?" Lily ask's
"Yeah, His names Ken, you may of seen him before hes in our class" Chris replies
"He is!~ I haven't seen him at all" Lily says
"Y-yeah, I don't have any friends... But Chris saved me from bullies! Hes strong and kind I'm really happy he considers me a friend!" Ken says stopping his tears
(Ring Ring)
"Oh.... We talked here for too long... We're late for class....." Zach comments in the obvious situation
