The Deities were afraid that the Demons would attack them again if they didn't finish them for once and all.

But the Heaven Emperor was still a little bit reluctant to kill his son even after his act of backstabbing and treason against the Heaven Realm.

Deep down in his heart, the Heaven Emperor had always regretted snatching away his son's mother just a few minutes after his birth.

He didn't like how the little boy was confined in the four walls of his chamber from day one, deprived of any kind of love, affection, respect, warmth, or resources, all the things that a child and a Prince deserved.

But he couldn't deny the truth that if they had provided him with all those things then they would surely have to pay a much bigger price then what was happening at that time.
