1 Chapter 1

It was a sunny day, the sun shone brightly blessing the sky with it's light

Joana sat beside her mother who was busy making her a soft pillow on the balcony, she turned to face her and saw how her mother carefully pierce the clothing with the needle Lousa could feel her daughter's small adorable eyes on her and smiled "by the time I finish making this pillow for you I'm sure lunch will be ready by then" lousa was aware of how hungry her daughter Must be, after all they both didn't have breakfast this morning.

All because she got home from work later than usual which was normally 10pm however for some reason she got delayed by her boss and had to work extra time.

She pleaded with her neighbor susan to let joana stay over till the next day she came back home by 11am and was informed joana refused to eat claiming she wasn't hungry lousa had specifically warned her not to eat anywhere else except at home or a fast food.

So she immediately started to prepare a meal and used the pillow making to distract them from hunger
