I almost curse as I move to seek cover from the downpour. I got drenched and I was so caught up in the situation that I forgot to bring my umbrella despite knowing the weather today.

I faced up the sky and muttered.

"I messed up big time." At the end, I can only sigh.

If only I can rewind the time.

"Master, it's time to go. " The voice of my servant startled me. I did not even realize that he was here.

" I know. " I coldly spoke to him. He did not show any expression since he already knew what kind of temperament that I have. With a heavy heart, I followed him towards my car. I touched my cheek .Her slapped was quite hard. She must be really hate me, isn't she. I can hear my heart shattered into pieces.

Somewhere in the street, a woman was seen running. She was panting heavily while drenched in sweat and rain. She did not know where she was going or how long she was running.

"He... did not follow me?" she thought. She felt quite relieve and disappointed for some reason. She knew that she was contradicting herself, however she ignored it. Since she knew HE did not follow her, she stopped and went to a public phone.

She felt quite fortunate that she still brought some money with her, otherwise, she probably not even knew where she was going. She thinks she might sleeps on the streets then.

"H-Hello, is this Rena? It's me, Roxanne." Said Roxanne. There was an awkward feelings in her heart. It has been a long time since she last called her friend especially when she was her best friend . But she knew that Rena was the only one that can help her. She wonder whether her friend can still remember her. She really miss her.

"Roxanne? Is it really you. Really, I'm not dreaming. You suddenly disappeared. I searched for you everywhere. So I thought... " Her sudden voice startle Roxanne. Tears slowly appear on her face. Her friend really concerned about her and yet she....

" No, I'm sorry. I have slight trouble.That's all " said Roxanne. She wiped her tears. When she try reaching out her hand. She thought no one would try to hold it. But her friend still trying to. Like always. Roxanne mouth slightly curve upward. She open her mouth and said.

"Can we meet?" Asked Roxanne. On the other side of phone, Rena suddenly frown.

"What are you talking about. Of course we can. Tell me where you are. I come." After speaking with Rena, Roxanne felt her burdens was lift.

" I... might need to go abroad. " Heading up the sky, Roxanne thinks that the rain was like her tears that overflow her heart. It hurts , the pains. She was reminded of his word.

"Give up on your nonsense dreams."

His word was like a curse to her. His word on giving up hit her ears like a thunder and her despair only got bigger. That was why she prayed to herself, to hold on. To save herself from his unkind stares.

To him, she was just a tool.

She raised her hands and prayed to God. Please, please don't let her met him again. She did not know how exactly she can face him once that happen.

A few moments later, Roxanne can hear her friend called her from afar. Rena was shocked after seeing her best friend in a really terrible shape . She was drenched and she also realized that there's bruises on her. She brought her to her house.

" You-"

"I know what you want to ask but can I stay here today? I promise you to go later. I appreciate it" Said Roxanne as she forcefully smile. Rena suddenly pinched Roxanne cheeks. She was angry by her behaviour. " Am I not your friend anymore? . Humph... Tell me what happen. Otherwise..... I throw you out. Go then, sleeps on the streets. I won't care about you anymore. 😤. "

Rena stomped her feet and turn around. "I'm going to make a porridge for you. So stay here. " Rena said. Roxanne slightly laugh. "Alright , I shall follow your arrangement, Your majesty. " Roxanne thinks that her friend was really too cute.

That night, in Rena's room.

"Aaron that bastard!!! How dare he make you like this." Roxanne told her of what happen to her these past few years. She can see that Rena was enraged . Rena looks at her friend sadly.

"I am ashamed that I need your help again, Rena " said Roxanne. " Don't mind it. Well, I will arrange you to go abroad. You might need different identity too, little Roxy, " Rena replied.

"Well, thank you, Rena" Roxanne softly said.
