11 You said you want to live with me forever
Meghan was just having her lunch break with her model friends when someone stood in front of her, smiling. Her friends began to smile naughtily.
"Hi, mind if I join you?" he asked. Without asking, Amethyst pulled a chair for him to sit. Meghan just smiled.
"I never had the time to thank you for the flowers, Mr. Li," she said politely. Nicky chuckled.
"It's okay. Please, call me Nicky. I'm still young to be called mister," he joked with others giggling softly. Meghan smiled.
"Nicky," she said. Nicky smiled.
"I think we just leave you two here, okay?" Amethyst winked, signaling others to give them a chance. The girls smiled, winking at Meghan before walking out from the restaurant.
"So, just me and you now," Nicky said. Meghan smiled, stirring her juice with the straw.
"Are you free tonight?" he asked suddenly. She smiled.
"You want to woo me, Nicky?" she asked naughtily. He chuckled.
"Well… if you give me the chance," he replied.
"Hmm… I don't know…" she winked.
They were just chatting when her phone rang. She looked at the name, silently groaning.
"Excuse me," she said, walking to the ladies room to answer the phone. Nicky smiled, watching her body as she walking away.
"Hello," she said, closing the door.
"Meghan, where have you been? Why are all your clothes not in your room?" Vic asked, silently sighing in relief to know that she's fine.
"I'm moving out. Sorry not to tell you," she replied half-heartedly. She could hear him gasping.
"Moving out? But why? You said you want to live with me forever…" he asked in disbelief. She sighed heavily.
"I have to go now. Don't call me, okay? I'm busy." She quickly cut off the conversation, even switching off her phone. She could feel the tears gathering in her eyes so she quickly wiped them with a tissue. She sniffed, looking at her own reflection.
"Liar…" she murmured before walking out from the ladies room to Nicky.
"Sorry for that," she apologized, sitting back on her seat. Nicky smiled.
"It's okay," he said smilingly.
