12 For my little sister

Vic groaned in frustration. What exactly that he did until Meghan angry at him so much. Then, his eyes landed to the calendar. He gasped.

"My god… her birthday yesterday and I forgot about it?" he said in disbelief. He quickly walked out of the office, walking to his secretary.

"Sue, I have to go out for a while. If anybody calls, tell them to call back, okay?" He didn't wait for her reply, just walking away. He needed to make up with her quickly.

He went to the jewelry shop, remembering his promise to buy her a necklace for her birthday this year. He quickly looked for a suitable one for her.

"Can I see that one over there," he pointed to a necklace that has the word V as the pendant with a little teddy bear at each side. The man quickly showed him the necklace.

"Perfect. Please wrap this in a nice box, okay?" he said, handed the man his credit card.

After that, he went to a toy shop, looking for something for her. He knew perfectly that he has to buy more than one present to make her cool back. He chose a very fluffy teddy bear with his hands holding a heart. He went to the woman who worked there.

"Excuse me. Can you stitch something at the heart?" he asked. The woman smiled.

"Present for your girlfriend, sir?" Vic smiled sheepishly.

"No, for my little sister," he replied.

"Oh… what would you like to put, sir?" the woman asked again, already ready with the needle and the string.

"Hmm… could you put a V and an M?" he asked. The woman smiled, beginning to do her job. Vic stood there, watching her.

Meghan giggled softly hearing Nicky's joke. She wiped her mouth with a napkin.

"God, Nicky, stop it. I couldn't stop laughing now," she said between her giggling. Nicky just grinned.

"How about I send you back to the studio?" he asked. Meghan smiled.

"Sure, why now?" she replied. He called the waiter, wanting to pay for all the food. She just smiled all the time.
