13 Break up with her or...

Vic was walking out from his office during lunch break. He held the velvet box contained Meghan's birthday present.

"Vic," Annie called. He turned around, smiling at her.

"Yeah, what is it?" he asked. Annie's eyes landed on the box, shining brightly.

"Is that for me?" she asked, trying to take it but Vic quickly put into his pocket.

"Sorry, Ann but I have to go now. See you later," he said, quickly walking away. Annie frowned, confuse with his behaviour today.

"Who does he want to give the jewelry to? I'm his girlfriend and he doesn't have any sister, as far as I know," Annie murmured to herself.

"Don't tell me he has another girlfriend…" Her face turned pale.

Vic rushed to the studio, following the address Meghan gave him when she excitedly told him about her becoming a model there. He went to the counter.

"Is Meghan here yet?" he asked the girl. The girl looked at the teddy bear and flowers in his hands.

"Yeah. She's inside," the girl replied. Vic sighed in relief.

"Thank god," he murmured, walking inside. He sat on the chair, watching Meghan and other models posing as a cameraman took their pictures.

"Meghan," he called when they were finally done. Meghan pouted while others whispering, looking at them. Vic quickly approached her.

"I'm so sorry to forget your birthday. Come on, Meghan. Don't be so childish," he said gently. Meghan was still pouting.

"Look, I bought you new teddy bear and necklace. See, got teddy bear between M, your name," he showed her the necklace. She looked at it, still pouting.

"Please, Meghan, don't be like this," he said, tilting her face gently to look at him.

"Break up with her." His jaw dropped down.

"Are you… are you kidding?" he asked, couldn't believe it.

"You want to choose her or me? I don't want to share with anyone in your heart," she said, looking at his eyes.

"Don't treat me like this, Meghan. I love her," he choked out, holding her hand but she pulled back.

"Break up with her or our friendship is over." She left him in stunned. He sighed heavily.
